Lisa Rinna on Kim Richards: 'If You Poke a Hornet's Nest, You Are Going to Get Stung'

Glasses – and rumors – will be flying on Tuesday night's episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, when Kim Richards and Lisa Rinna go head-to-head over Rinna's husband, Harry Hamlin, during a drama-filled dinner.

Rinna, who is ever-protective of her husband of 17 years and their two daughters, explodes when Richards threatens to reveal a secret about Hamlin.

"Let's talk about the husband," Richards says to Rinna and the other Housewives during a dinner in Amsterdam.

Shocked, Rinna says, "Don't you touch my husband!" and throws a glass at Richards – chaos ensues.  

Rinna tells PEOPLE exclusively about the altercation, "If you poke a hornet's nest, you are going to get stung."

The trouble started when Rinna expressed her concern about Richards' behavior at a poker party after her ex-husband gave her one of his pain pills. In last week's episode, the two share an uncomfortable exchange during a private plane ride to Calgary, Canada, when Richards tells Rinna to stop talking about her and her sobriety.

Rinna apologized. But when Richards stirs the pot at the dinner, the normally even-keeled Rinna loses her cool – and all hell breaks loose. "I am fiercely protective of my family," she tells PEOPLE.

Rinna wouldn’t go into detail about how she and Hamlin respond to Richards' threat, but says, "Our response isn't what you might expect. All I can say is our response will surprise people."
