Kathryn Edwards is saying goodbye to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after just one season, E! News has confirmed.. The former model revealed to People that she is not returning to the Bravo hit after joining the show halfway through its sixth season.

"I walk away from it all with great feelings. I have no regrets at all," she told the magazine of her decision. "It was definitely an adventure for me. I really am kind of a private person. It really just comes down to the time and what I value the most. I value those times with my husband and our friends. And I really didn't want to miss another year. It's nice to be able to live life."

Although Edwards made a splash after she memorably sparred with Faye Resnick over revelations in Resnick's mid-'90s tell-all book, she wasn't the center of much drama throughout her stint on RHOBH. (ICYMI, Faye alleged that Marcus Allen, Kathryn's then-husband, had an affair with Nicole Brown Simpson that sparked O.J. Simpson's rage.)

"She capitalized on a tragedy. Horrible. She wrote a book back in the day, 21 years ago, and spoke of me. She's never met me, so don't act like you know me when you don't know me," Kathryn told her RHOBH costars, adding, "There's very few people in my life that I've carried a dagger for...She's one of them."

Kathryn Edwards Fired From 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' After One Season?

Another Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star is one-and-done! Kathryn Edwards, who joined the core cast of the hit Bravo series this past season, will not return for season 7, a source confirms to Us Weekly.

The source tells Us that producers have opted not to bring back Edwards, 51, who is married to retired NFL star Donnie Edwards. Kathryn, a friend of Lisa Rinna's prior to joining the show, made her debut in a January episode.
 
The former model is not the first Housewife to get the boot from the series after only one season under her belt. She joins a group that also includes Joyce Giraud and Carlton Gebbia, who both were let go after season 4.
 
A key season 6 story line for Kathryn involved an early skirmish with fellow cast newbie Erika Girardi after Edwards told Lisa Vanderpump about disparaging comments that the “Painkillr” singer made about her. Kathryn also sparred with Faye Resnick, who claimed in her 1994 book, Nicole Brown Simpson: The Private Diary of a Life Interrupted, that Kathryn's ex-husband, Marcus Allen, had an affair with the late Nicole Brown Simpson — and that Kathryn turned a "blind eye."

In her final season 6 Bravo blog, posted on May 3, Kathryn wrote that she enjoyed her stint on the series.

"I've had fun and have made some valued friendships," she wrote. She also praised the show's fans: "I've enjoyed meeting a lot of people who have approached me while I'm out and about, and I've taken so much from the people who have shared their stories that parallel my own."

Kathryn Edwards Insists She Wasn't Tipsy At Erika Girardi's Dinner

RHOBH's Kathryn Edwards insists she is not the bad guy Erika Girardi has made her out to be, and she is defending herself in a new Bravo blog.

Girardi threw Edwards under the bus when Lisa Vanderpump confronted her about the "web" and "sniper" comments, rather than talking it out with Vanderpump — and Edwards has a major problem with that.

"What you didn't see was more than half of the reason I was so animated and brash. We talked about the web comment in detail and my point was more about why Erika felt the need to warn me about Lisa VDP," Edwards wrote on her Bravo blog.

"Here is the person of distrust, Lisa VDP, sitting right in front of Erika... talk to LVP, speak your mind. You think she's dangerous like a 'sniper,' you felt the need to warn me about her. Lisa VDP asked her why she said it and rather than addressing Lisa, Erika turned to me with it and that's when it started. I wasn't tipsy, I was passionate about what was being said and being truthful to my feelings."

Edwards also addressed the drama caused by her comment about Lisa Rinna having an eating disorder, insisting it was a joke but apologizing anyway.

"When I teased Lisa Rinna about not eating, it was all in fun," she explained. "I do not think for one second that she has an eating disorder of any kind. She has an absolutely amazing body and has always been in phenomenal shape. Don't forget that I've known her for many years, we used to workout [sic] together. If I really thought that she had issues, I sure as hell wouldn't tease her. It was a joke, and I wasn't aware that it was such a hot spot for her because of Kim Richards. I know now."

Erika Girardi Goes After Kathryn Edwards, Calls Her a 'F--king C--t'

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Girardi had offered up her opinion about Lisa Vanderpump during a lunch with Kathryn Edwards. Erika believes that she was sharing her opinion in confidence with her new Real Housewives co-star. But just days later, Kathryn decided to open up about the gossip and she shared everything that Girardi had told her with Lisa Vanderpump — and all of the other ladies. Clearly, Girardi felt she was thrown under the bus and during last night’s episode, she was ready to fight back.

According to a new Bravo report, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Girardi is now revealing that she’s very disappointed with Kathryn’s behavior. The two clearly couldn’t agree on how to handle information shared during a conversation. While Edwards felt that everything could be shared with anyone, Erika reveals that she thinks information should be kept in confidence.

“The way I see it: Everything you hear is confidential unless someone tells you otherwise. It’s common sense,” The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Girardi reveals of their conversation. And the way Edwards had gossiped about the conversation makes Erika question whether she’s actually on the outs. There could be a loyalty issue between herself and Edwards.

“It’s inteesting that Kathryn suddenly has this loyalty to LVP. They just met, what, a couple of weeks ago? Why this allegiance? Yet they both question my and Yolanda’s friendship. I’ll bet if I asked Kathryn to tell me what she and LVP say about me, she wouldn’t share that information. I can’t help but feel that Kathryn went to LVP’s house on a mission,” Erika reveals of her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-star.

And she’s probably right. If Kathryn and Lisa had a conversation about The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Girardi, Edwards probably wouldn’t rush back to tell Girardi about the conversation. Luckily, Girardi had the confidence to state her case when Lisa Vanderpump confronted her about the web comment. Maybe Lisa felt that she could confront Erika and scare her a little. But Erika didn’t back down, and she owned her comment. And when she started her reasons, Vanderpump replied with, “oh common.”

Kathryn Edwards Talks Being a ‘Real Housewives’ Newbie

Despite the family feuds and occasional glass of wine tossed, that didn’t stop “Real Housewives” newbie Kathryn Edwards from joining the Beverly Hills installment of the long-running show.

While chatting with Page Six on Tuesday, the 51-year-old reality star said she counts the eclectic cast of characters as her close pals.

“I am friends with Lisa Vanderpump and I don’t think any of them [the women] are petty,” Edwards explained.

Though she and the “Vanderpump Rules” matriarch are as thick as thieves, Edwards also admitted to clashing with other wives later in the season, including Erika Girardi over the use of a certain slur.

“I was adamant about the C-word. I understand it now, but I still don’t like it,” Edwards recounted of her previous tiff with Girardi, 44, in which they argued over the word c–t. As for Lisa Rinna‘s comments on Kim Richards‘ troubled behavior, Edwards was less forgiving.

“Scary seemed really insensitive to me considering where Kim was,” Edwards noted of the former child star, who was arrested for public intoxication and shoplifting on two separate occasions in 2015.

And while Edwards opted to take the “high road” where her disagreements with Kyle Richards‘ longtime friend Faye Resnick is concerned, should she return for Season 7 of the series, Edwards hopes to enjoy more special moments with her co-stars.

“Going to Dubai with all the ladies was a great memory,” she dished. “Some of them might not feel the same way.”

Kathryn Edwards on Confrontation with Faye Resnick: 'It Was a Long Time Coming'

Kathryn Edwards is about to enter The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

The former model, 51, makes her debut on the Bravo show Tuesday, which will see her have a confrontation with Faye Resnick.

"It was a long time coming," Edwards tells PEOPLE. 

The feud dates back to the early 1990s, when Edwards and her then-husband Marcus Allen were friends with O.J. Simpson and Nicole Brown Simpson. In 1994 after Nicole's murder, Resnick, 58, published a book claiming Edwards' then-husband Allen had an affair with Nicole while he was engaged to Edwards – claims both Edwards and the former NFL star have denied.  

Edwards says Resnick's book, Nicole Brown Simpson: The Private Diary of a Life Interrupted, was published without Resnick reaching out to her about its claims.

"She never met me. She didn't know me. That always bothered me, that she acted like she did," says Edwards. "I waited a long time. I'm one of those people who can wait for a lifetime to say what I have to say to somebody. It was good. I was happy to get it off my chest."

Ahead of joining RHOBH, Edwards says she was unsure what her relationship with Kyle Richards would be like, as the star is close friends with Resnick – but Edwards and Richards have become close. 

"She's a great girl and my husband [former NFL star Donnie Edwards] and her husband [Mauricio Umansky] hit it off, and so it's a nice little friendship there," says Edwards. "I think Kyle is going to let Faye and I figure it out on our own. [The book] was before she was friends with Faye. It is what it is."

Lisa Rinna Says Kathryn Edwards 'Sold Her Soul to the Devil'

There's a new "Housewife" in Beverly Hills -- and ETonline has your exclusive first look at her debut.

Model Kathryn Edwards joins the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills this week, bumping into her old pal, Lisa Rinna, at co-star Lisa Vanderpump's restaurant, PUMP. The two met back in the '90s, while Lisa was working on Days of Our Lives.

The ladies hug and catch up, realizing they haven't seen each other in years. But, apparently, not much has changed… at least for Kathryn.

"She's either sold her soul to the devil, or she has some sort of special cocktail that she drinks, because she looks exactly the same," Lisa says in a confessional, before giving a double bird-flip to the camera.

The ladies' conversation abruptly cuts off when Lisa brings up O.J. Simpson, so we'll have to tune in this Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo to see what that's about. 

Kathryn's ex-husband was rumored to have had an affair with Nicole Brown Simpson after her separation from the football star in 1992. Those allegations reportedly first surfaced in Faye Resnick's 1994 tell-all memoir, published after Nicole's death. Faye is, of course, a recurring player on RHOBH… so there might be a lot of drama ahead!
