‘Real Housewives of Potomac’: Cast Trip In Limbo as Robyn Dixon Unleashes on Karen Huger

ETOnline.com:
The Real Housewives of Potomac’s all-cast trip might only feature some of the cast.

In ET’s exclusive first look at this week’s all-new episode of the Bravo hit, the ladies gather for a dinner that quickly turns from bad to worse. To start, it’s just Gizelle Bryant, Robyn Dixon and Ashley Darby at the table, with Gizelle explaining why she has no interest in going on an international trip with the women, planned by co-star Monique Samuels.

“Why would she even be inviting me?” Gizelle asks. “Why? Why would she be inviting Robyn?”

“You come to Congressional Black Caucus, you don’t speak to me,” Gizelle notes in a confessional. “You decide to befriend little [my ex-boyfriend’s ex-wife] Miss Kyndall just to spite me, and then you want to go to another country with you? No ma’am, Pam. Not interested.”

“It’s just weird,” Robyn notes.

“The invite wasn’t even luggage friendly!” Gizelle calls out. “She said, ‘Pack your Louis Vuitton.’ Karen [Huger] can’t come … Candiace [Dillard] can’t come. I mean, it’s just ridiculous.”

Robyn Dixon Explodes On Ashley Darby

ETOnline.com:
Robyn Dixon has apparently had it with Ashley Darby.

In ET’s exclusive first look at Sunday’s The Real Housewives of Potomac, the ladies get into a shouting match at what is supposed to be a friendly brunch to heal the group.

“Look, ladies,” Gizelle Bryant announces to her friends. “We’re not having any fun anymore. So, this is a table of positivity. I felt in the spirit that the worst conflict was between Miss Ashley and Miss Robyn. I was hoping that we could get to a better place.”

Robyn simply replies “I’m good” to Gizelle, sending all the physical cues that she doesn’t want to speak about her issues with Ashley publicly. Robyn has been vocal about not liking how Ashley speaks to other people about Robyn’s relationship with her ex-husband, Juan, who is also the father of her children. Robyn and Juan don’t live apart and even sleep in the same bed, despite being divorced.

“I mean, I expect that to be Robyn’s reaction,” Ashley responds. “I’ve been going through a lot of things lately in relation to my mom and her partner. She stayed with him, because she says it’s for the benefit of my sister, their kid. I feel like, with Robyn, even though she doesn’t believe me, I do care about her. I don’t want anyone to stay in a situation for the benefit of the kids.”

‘It’s A Rental!’ Karen Huger’s ‘Friends’ Have Major Questions About Her New Home

MonstersandCritics.com:
Karen Huger breaks down in tears on The Real Housewives of Potomac season finale — after the other ladies question the reasons she moved into her new home.

The meltdown comes after repeated questions from the other housewives about why she made the sudden move out of Potomac to Great Falls, Virginia, and whether it had anything to do with her financial situation.

The episode sees the other ladies questioning the Grand Dame about whether she’s lying about her home and why she made the almost overnight move.

She started living in the new house after coming back from a vacation in Bermuda, despite telling the other ladies while there that she didn’t know where she was going to move to after receiving a “cash offer” for her old pad from overseas.

Her secretive way of dealing with the whole issue didn’t go unnoticed by the group, and they were left wanting answers.

Robyn Dixon Opens Up About Ex-Husband Juan's Off-Camera Conversation with Producers

BravoTV.com:
Bravotv.com: Why did you want to go to OZ – did you plan on confrontingAshley Darby the way it went down?
Robyn Dixon: I don’t believe in attacking the messenger when the message comes from a sincere place. However, I was really bothered after hearing about how Ashley completely attacked and disrespected Charrisse Jackson Jordan and her unfortunate situation while in the dress shop. It became very clear to me that Ashley has no compassion nor sincerity and completely has no respect for what we have experienced and endured in our lives. I then thought more about exactly what Ashley had said and done to me – bringing gossip to a public party, repeating the gossip over and over again, going in the face of the person she was gossiping about to encourage him to dance. It just all screamed messy, insincere, and childish. I decided to visit Ashley at Oz because I wanted to express those feelings to her and to ask her to think about her intentions before speaking about other people’s lives. Don’t pretend to really care about someone but then gossip all night about them – it comes off as phony and malicious. Don’t throw stones at another woman’s decisions when you’ve never walked a day in their shoes. Why was she so interested in my personal life anyway? I gave her the benefit of the doubt last year when speaking about my financial troubles. But I can’t continue to let her gossip about me and think it is ok.

While on the way to Oz, I envisioned us having a mature and productive conversation. Unfortunately, that is not the way it went down. When I saw Ashley, I was immediately reminded of her phoniness and how she tries to project a sweet, bubbly image but really is not a genuine person. I didn’t want to play Ashley’s phony smile-in-your-face game and instantly became frustrated and agitated at the sight of her. I definitely did not plan on making a scene at her place of business but things quickly escalated and turned into a yelling match. I absolutely am not proud of that moment and wish I had handled things differently.

Bravotv.com: What do you think about Juan’s conversation with the Producer off camera?
RD: Juan’s off-camera conversation with the Producer was definitely unfavorable and not fun to hear, however, it was not news to me to hear how he felt. We have had many private conversations about the state of our relationship and what we each desire. And what I have been saying the entire season - that Juan would like to get married again, have more kids, be in a relationship - is pretty much the same thing he said, “I want to share my life with somebody. I want something more.” His frustrated tone and the fact that he’s whispering to a trusted producer makes the message sound worse than it really is and as if he is hurting me. However, the fact that I am always focused on business and don’t share the same desires for a relationship that Juan does definitely sometimes leads to tense moments between the two of us.

Bravotv.com: What were you thinking during this conversation with Charrisse’s therapist – did you expect to break down?
RD: I didn’t know what to expect in talking to a therapist and definitely didn’t want to hear more of the same message that my friends had already delivered but I still went into this meeting with an open mind. Fortunately, Dr. Jeff has a special way of making you feel comfortable and at ease. He also has a way of making you take a step back to look at your life from a different perspective. After mentioning my children, I began to become emotional. Just thinking about how much I love my kids made me realize that I need to be the best Robyn that I can be, not only for my personal sake but especially for my kids’ lives and futures. I also began to think about my past struggles that I have endured and survived and of the memories of the pain and how my past experiences continue to affect me. I definitely did not expect to break down, but thinking about some of my darkest days was a strong trigger in that emotional moment.

Robyn Dixon Confronts Ashley Darby Over Relationship Rumors

USmagazine.com:
Robyn Dixon isn’t playing games. The Real Housewives of Potomac star confronts her costar Ashley Darby for spreading rumors about her relationship with estranged husband Juan Dixon on the Sunday, May 21, episode of the hit Bravo series — and Us Weekly has an exclusive first look. Check out the fight in the clip above!
As viewers saw on the Sunday, May 14, episode of RHOP, Darby told Robyn, Gizelle Bryant and Charisse Jackson Jordan that she believes Juan is seeing another woman. Naturally, this infuriated Robyn — who still lives in the same home with Juan and their young sons, Carter and Corey — since she and the former NBA star had been working on repairing their romance.

“If [Ashley] really had something that she was concerned about, call me. I’m done. She needs to stop,” Robyn tells her pal Bryant during a car ride. Bryant then has the bright idea to stop by Darby’s D.C. eatery, Oz Restaurant and Bar, to confront her. “Maybe we need to go to her restaurant,” Bryant suggests. “The conversation needs to be firm.”
Robyn is more than down with the idea. It takes no time for the duo to strut their way into Oz, where they immediately go in on Darby.

“I just wanna tell you, you need to stay the f--k out my business,” Robyn tells the beauty queen-turned-restaurateur, who then asks, “What is the hostility for?”

Robyn Dixon Helped Her Ex-Husband Juan Find the Father He Never Knew Existed

BravoTV.com:
A lot has happened in Robyn Dixon's life since last season of The Real Housewives of Potomac. We'll of course get an update when the new season of RHOP premieres on Sunday, April 2 at 9/8c, but her family got a major surprise last year when her ex-husband, Juan Dixon, met the biological father he didn't know even existed.

The Baltimore Sun broke the story last November that Juan had found his biological father, Bruce Flanigan, last year after thinking his dad Phil Dixon, the man he grew up with his whole life, was his biological father. "Isn't that amazing? It's still so weird," Robyn recently told The Daily Dish about the discovery. "They talk a lot, and his [biological] father's a really great guy. He's so nice. I'm like, damn, it sucks that he missed out on that experience, but it's great."

As Juan led the University of Maryland's men's basketball team to victory in the NCAA national championship in 2002, he gained acclaim for his skills on the court. But viewers were also captivated by his personal story of losing both of his parents, Phil and Juanita Dixon, to AIDS the year he turned 17. When Bruce saw Juan playing for the Terps on TV in his first season at Maryland, he knew he was his son, he told The Baltimore Sun.

Bruce explained to the newspaper that he and Juan's mom had dated in the early '70s when they were in high school. The two ended their relationship, and Juanita began dating Phil, whom she would eventually marry. Though there were always some murmurs among Bruce's and Juan's families that Phil wasn't Juan's biological father, Juanita never confirmed it — even when asked by Bruce, who had long thought Juan was his son, and Juan himself. In fact, Juan was told, "Don't go there" by his mom when he questioned why he didn't look like his father like his older brother did, according to The Baltimore Sun.

Bruce even ran into Juan once at a department store in Towson, Maryland when his son was in college, and he told him he knew his mother in high school. However, Bruce told The Baltimore Sun that he didn't share that he thought he was Juan's father because he "didn't want to interfere with his career."

Robyn said she had heard about this rumor many years ago after a high school friend, PJ, who is also Bruce's cousin, brought it up with her brother. Robyn said that she "brushed it off" at the time because she thought her brother was referring to Juan's brother, Jermaine Dixon, who has a different biological father who is still alive. "I was like, no way. It wasn't even a possibility. I'm just like, 'No, I think he's confused. I think he's talking about Jermaine,'" Robyn told The Daily Dish. "I didn't pursue it anymore. I just brushed it off. Juan never questioned who his real father was. He never doubted that the man who he thought was his father was his father."

Check Out the Trailer For Season 2 of 'The Real Housewives of Potomac'

MadameNoire.com:
Can you believe it’s going on two years since we first learned of the housewives of Potomac? Well, that is the truth Ruth. Now the cast of women from the North East are returning for a second season.

As you may remember the series follows Gizelle Bryant, ex wife to pastor Jamal Bryant. She’s back out on the dating scene looking for a man with “cash flow in the pocket.” Giselle also might be catching some flack from her fellow castmates for exposing Charrisse Jackson Jordan’s marital woes. Meanwhile, Charrisse is prioritizing her children while rumors about her husband continue to circulate.

Robyn is trying to work on her relationship with her ex husband and dealing with financial hardships. Karen Huger, with her children out of the house, is moving into a new home. But she and her husband, Raymond Huger, known as the Black Bill Gates, aren’t agreeing on the size of their new spot. Ashley is trying to find out why her new restaurant is not poppin, a fact that is putting additional strain on her marriage and their plans to have children.

There’s also a new woman joining the crew. Monique Samuels, a self proclaimed “boss” who is living the glamorous life. As with all newbies, Monique gets off to a rocky start with the old cast members.
