Katie Rost Allegedly Blocked from Seeing Her Kids By Ex-Husband

EurWeb.com:
Former “Real Housewives of Potomac” star Katie Rost is asking the public to pray for her because she hasn’t seen her children in nearly two months.

On June 19, the former model took to her Instagram page to reveal she has been blocked from seeing her three children, adding that she has had the cops called on her during her last two attempts to see her kids, per Reality Blurb.

37-year-old Katie wrote:

“I haven’t been allowed to see my children in a month and a half and have had the police called on me the last two times i tried to have parenting time. Including called on my mother, me and my grandmother on mothers day.”

She added, “Please join me in a prayer that they will be returned to me by the courts in the next few days. #family #pray#fightformychildren with me.”

Katie shares her three kids — son, James Rocco and twin daughters, Kathryn and Renee —  with her ex-husband, Dr. James Orsini, an oncologist who was also her college sweetheart. They married in 2011 and divorced shortly after, while Katie was pregnant with their twin.

Details of her custody battle are unknown, but Katie did receive some words of encouragement from her former co-star Robyn Dixon.

“I’m so sorry to hear this. This hurts my heart. Stay strong for your babies!,” Robyn wrote under Katie’s post.

Katie responded to Robyn: “Always.”

Katie Rost Put On Blast For Fake Philanthropy

Bossip.com:
RHOP star Katie Rose is being labeled a fake philanthropist over charges her charity for underprivileged kids barely raises any money for anyone but her legal team and office costs according to Globe Magazine:
The only contributions to show up on federal tax forms over the last five years for the foundation are donations totaling $32,000 from her mom, Geico executive Rynthia Rost, according to public record.
On her foundation website Katie talks a good game…but in the last five years the charity handed out less than $3,000, mostly small checks such as $200 to the DC College Access Program.
In contrast, the records show that the operation spends far more in administrative, legal and accounting costs.

Katie Rost Ex-Fiance's Drug Dealing Past Exposed

RadarOnline.com:
Real Housewives of Potomac‘s Katie Rost may have been briefly engaged to her boyfriend Andrew Martin, but RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that the 44-year-old businessman has a dark past.

According to court documents obtained by Radar, Martin was the subject in a major drug bust which involved boxes full of marijuana and a SWAT invasion on his home.

Martin’s legal problems began on June 15, 2011 when the Montgomery County Police Drug Interdiction Unit “removed two parcels” — which were discovered by a drug dog — from a FedEx facility in Rockville, Maryland.

When the police opened the boxes, they found bags of pot that were “consistent with that of possession with intent to distribute.”

While the boxes had decoy name on them, an address linked back to a home owned by Martin.

After this discovery, a detective “posing as a delivery person” attempted to return the boxes to Martin’s home.

Another individual, who claimed to be working on Martin’s home, accepted the boxes.

During this scheme, the police department and Metropolitan Area Drug task force surveyed the operation.

Nearly 20 minutes later, a Maryland State SWAT team helped the other law enforcement agencies invade the home.

Katie Rost’s Ex-Boyfriend Shopping Naked Pics of Her

RadarOnline.com:
The scandals for Katie Rost started way before the cameras started rolling! RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned The Real Housewives of Potomac star’s ex-boyfriend has been shopping around nude photos of the Bravolebrity.

Radar was one of the media outlets contacted by the ex-flame, who tried to sell five photos of the reality star ditching her clothes.

In two pictures, which were reviewed by Radar, Rost is photographed in a pink lace bra and unzipped jeans.

In another snap, her breasts are on full display, while Rost wears nothing but a thong in the final photo.
But the pictures may be the least of Rost’s worries, as the man claiming to be her ex also plans to reveal explosive allegations about her alleged hard-partying past and sex life.

Rost has a history of bad luck with men: She left her ex-husband James Orsini when she was four months pregnant.

“It was really hard, but I knew that it was the right thing to do,” she confessed to OKMagazine.com in January. “I knew that I needed my mom and that there was no way I would be able to get through the pregnancy if I didn’t have a lot of support.”

The reality star also revealed on Part One of the RHOP reunion that she has called off her engagement to Andrew Martin. She recently explained in a Bravo blog how they are working on getting back together.

Gizelle Bryant Thinks Katie Rost Wants To 'Dip In Her Lady Pond'

Inquisitr.com:
The Real Housewives of Potomac star Gizelle Bryant was close friends with Katie Rost, but it sounds like the two are not exactly on good terms while filming the show. Gizelle keeps thinking that Katie wants her — or wants to be her — and Rost keeps thinking that her Real Housewives co-star is rude and arrogant. Obviously, these two could not be any more different. According to a new Bravo report, the Real Housewives of Potomac star Gizelle Bryant is now revealing that she thinks that her co-stars are crazy. It all started when Ashley Darby’s husband decided to grab Katie’s man’s behind during a party, which aired on last night’s episode of The Real Housewives Of Potomac.

“I never in a MILLION years thought I would be able to utter the words in my head, ‘Michael is Charmin toilet paper SQUEEZING Andrew’s butt on the dance floor.’ I said to myself, ‘Am I seeing what I think I’m seeing’… ‘No, say it ain’t so’… ‘Golly gee wilikers’… ‘Now ain’t this some nonsense,’ ” Gizelle reveals about her Real Housewives co-stars, sharing that she was shocked to see Michael grab Andrew’s behind.
Of course, Michael has shown his crazy side on The Real Housewives Of Potomac. Not only did he try to take his pants off during the yacht party, but he also showed up during the girls weekend and caused quite the controversy. He is clearly not a favorite amongst the Real Housewives ladies, but Gizelle was shocked to see what she saw on Sunday’s Real Housewives episode.

“Typically when I tell one of my girlfriends that her husband is on the dance floor squeezing men’s butts (not that this has EVER happened before) the reaction is a little bit different. More along the lines of, “OH HEEELLLLL NO,” there is a whole lot of hands flaring, neck rolling, fingers pointing while still screaming “OH HEEEELLLL NOOOOOOO.” I NEVER thought that Ashley’s immediate response would be, “Oh, he was just joking.” I just really, really, really wanted Ashley to understand that NO ONE was laughing,” Bryant revealed about Sunday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac.

It is one thing for Andrew to get his butt grabbed, but Gizelle seems to think that something is going on with her Real Housewives co-star Katie. It is no secret that Rost has expressed an interest in ladies and she may see herself as a bisexual. But Bryant does think that her Real Housewives co-star wants to get in her pants.

“I never asked Ashley and Katie if Michael squeezing Andrew’s butt was a ‘white thing’… that was Robyn’s question. However, Katie of course asks herself if Gizelle is obsessed with race because she’s obsessed with ME. Every other word out of Katie’s mouth is Gizelle. Gizelle, Gizelle, Gizelle..I’m starting to think that not only is she obsessed with me, but Katie REALLY wants to take a big dip into MY lady pond. HA!” Bryant revealed to Bravo.

Real Housewives Of Potomac Renewed For Season 2 & Looking For New Cast Members

WaPo.com:
With a two-week on-air break, you’d think that the ladies of “Real Housewives of Potomac” (which returns to Bravo on March 6) would have a brief rumor mill breather. Not likely.

Turns out there’s good news and bad news for the housewives crew. Despite the surprising absence of drama (or, at the very least, believable conflict), the show is most likely on its way to a second season, according to sources close to the production. Take that, D.C.! The Potomac edition premiered with the highest ratings in the franchise, with 2.54 million viewers overall.

Here’s the bad: Bravo is looking to add some fresh faces to the mix of area women starring on the show. Calls have been made and names have been thrown into the ring. Whether these potential new stars will replace or simply augment the current cast — Karen Huger, Ashley Darby, Charrisse Jackson Jordan, Katie Rost, Robyn Dixon and Gizelle Bryant — remains to be seen. Bravo usually likes to keep the casting under a tight lid.

But the network has a track record of bumping “boring” housewives. Remember DeShawn Snow of Atlanta’s first season? Or Kimberly Bryant of Orange County? Or half the cast of the first season of Miami?

With just five episodes under its belt, “Potomac” already has clear breakouts. Gizelle Bryant is a fan favorite — think Atlanta’s NeNe Leakes without all the yelling (so far). The show’s youngest member, wild wife Darby (and her much older Aussie husband Michael), is another. And polite society police chief Huger is nothing if not entertaining.

Katie Rost Is A Woman of All Trades

Bustle.com:
What I felt was very important in the announcement of Potomac and its cast is that it would add even more diversity into Bravo's line-up, and the Real Housewives franchise. All of the six women featured in the upcoming season are either African-american or biracial, and it seems like many of the themes throughout the show will touch the racial barriers they face in their upscale suburban community outside of D.C.

Like other casts, the women are multi-faceted, driven, and big parts of their community, so there is a lot in store. Now, let's see who Katie Rost is and what she will bring to the franchise.

She Is Well Educated

Rost attended the private school Holton Arms School in D.C. and went on to graduate from Boston University’s College of Communications with a degree in Broadcast Journalism.

She Has A Successful Modeling Career

After college, Rost moved to New York and worked with everyone from Chanel and Lanvin to J. Crew and Saks Fifth Avenue. In 2009, she was chosen by Vogue to join The Vogue 100, a group of diverse women from around the country who act as arbiters of style.

She Has Worked On Television Before

When she was a teen, Rost used to appear on BET's Teen Summit, which eventually led to other gigs hosting. She had a segment, "Katie Rost's Celebrity Hookup" on The CW syndicated television show, Direct Access with Big Tigger.

She Is A Momma To Three Kids

Rost has three adorable babies from her first marriage to James Orsini, a doctor. She has a 3-year-old son, James Rocco, and 14-month-old twin daughters, Kathryn and Renee.

She Is A Philanthropist

She runs The Ronald F. Rost Charitable Foundation with her mother, in memory of her father, who passed away in 2000. Their mission is "to open the doors of opportunity to the next generation through recreation, enrichment, and leadership activities in the community."

Why Bravo Picked Potomac for the Newest 'Real Housewives

WaPo.com:
Much like a photoshopped Tinder profile pic, America’s introduction to Potomac, Md., might have been just a tad misleading.

Viewers watching the promotional trailer for Bravo’s upcoming “Real Housewives of Potomac” could be forgiven for assuming that the Washington suburb was packed with nightclubs and other hotspots.
That’s not exactly the Potomac that residents would recognize.

So what’s it really like? Residents describe it as a quiet little hamlet, a bedroom community for Washington’s downtown bigshots who favor having a little land to spread out compared to the denser, close-in ‘burbs. It’s got a small cluster of mom-and-pop shops and offices, but not much nightlife to speak of. Once a rural retreat, the area saw a rush of development in the 1980s and 1990s.

“People who come from other bedroom communities, like Greenwich, are surprised — they might expect something older,” says Bill Moody, a co-founding partner of  Washington Fine Properties. “It’s a quaint village that doesn’t try to compete with city amenities — it’s never going to have its own Kennedy Center, because it’s part of that community already.”

Potomac has one element, though, that makes it prime territory for some Real Housewifery: it’s suuuper-wealthy. It regularly makes lists of wealthiest zip codes, and according to Forbes, the median home price is just under $1.2 million. The trailer for the show at least captures area’s country-clubby, equestrian flavor, with its shots of sprawling green.

Setting the show in the close-in suburbs was seen as a way for Bravo to have a second shot at the D.C. market. The network’s first effort at setting the show in Washington proper, 2010’s one-and-done “Real Housewives of D.C.,” was an unquestioned failure. The constraints of official Washington — clients, constituents, etc. — kept the onscreen behavior just a tad too proper to achieve Maximum Housewife.

As “Real Housewives” exec producer Andy Cohen promised during a recent visit to Washington, this cast will be all Bravo and no CNN. “Unlike the DC Housewives, this series is staying far away from the political drama,” he said.

Another reason to set the show in the relatively unknown ‘burb: even to those viewers unfamiliar with Maryland geography and culture,  “Real Housewives of Potomac” just sounds ritzier than “Real Housewives of Silver Spring.”

Potomac Chamber of Commerce president Adam Greenberg says neighbors have had mixed reactions to the news that their community’s national name recognition is about to soar higher than a Housewife’s stiletto. “I’ve heard everything from ‘I’m moving’ to ‘Bring it on — it will be fun,'” he says.
