Jill Zarin's 'RHONY' Return Will Hit on Relationship with New Boyfriend

Production sources tell TMZ ... Jill's role on the upcoming season of 'RHONY' that of contributor -- not a regular -- as a "friend" to full-time 'housewives' like Ramona Singer, Luann de Lesseps, Dorinda Medley, Sonja Morgan and Tinsley Mortimer.
We're told Jill's filmed episodes for Season 11 in which she divulges details about how she's found happiness with her new boyfriend, Gary Brody, following the death of her husband Bobby earlier this year after a long battle with cancer. Jill appeared briefly in Season 10 when the cast attended the funeral.
Our sources say it's unclear how much the show will touch on Jill's life in the aftermath of Bobby's death or her new rug line business, Jill Zarin Rugs Collection, but will definitely cover her relationship with Brody ... who she started dating a couple months ago.
We're told the 2 have known each other longer, but bonded over tennis and things got serious quickly -- they're already living together in Manhattan.
As for Zarin's "friend" status with the cast ... we're told it doesn't apply to Bethenny Frankel, with whom she had a notorious falling out years ago. Our sources say the women are cordial, though still not close enough to hang out.

Bethenny Frankel Mourns On-and-Off Boyfriend Dennis Shields Following His Funeral

After attending his funeral in Long Island, the reality star posted a picture of Shields laying in bed with her dog Cookie, who passed away earlier this year, on her Instagram. “Rest In Peace my sweet babies who gave me endless unconditional love,” she wrote. She added the hashtag “#nowandforever.”
Shields, 51, was found dead in his Trump Tower apartment on Friday morning of a suspected OxyContin overdose. Though Frankel recently admitted that she “loves” the millionaire investment banker in an episode of the “Real Housewives of New York,” she also said she “could never marry him.”
Shields, however, gushed about Frankel as recently as last week. “She’s great. She’s a great mother. She’s a great person. She’s really, really smart. She is terrific in every way,” he said on a business podcast.
Jill Zarin, Frankel’s former “Housewives” co-star expressed her condolences. “I know what it is like to lose someone so soon. It’s unbearable,” Zarin told us on Friday. “There is nothing worse than sudden death. You can’t prepare. There is no time to say goodbye.”

The 54-year-old reality star left the Bravo show in 2011 after season four, then returned to make brief appearances on the series during seasons nine and the current season 10, the latter of which showed her and her former co-stars at her late husband Bobby Zarin's funeral. The reunion sparked rumors that Jill could soon return to RHONY, which were fueled further this week after cast member Carole Radziwill announced this week that she is leaving.
"Somebody started a rumor that I was in talks with Bravo. That's not true. That's not true," Jill said on Saturday at the sixth annual Luxury Luncheon, with this one honoring Bobby, in the Hamptons.
"I would like to come back as a friend," she told E! News. "I've said that before. I would. I don't know if my friend would like to do it, but, yeah, 'cause I think I have the time now. I couldn't do it for many years because of Bobby, and I was talking care of him. But now I have the time. And I think Luann needs me."

Ramona Singer Recovering From Car Accident In Hamptons

The Real Housewives of New York City star, 61, was heading east on Montauk Highway in her Maserati when she was involved in a four-car pileup, a source close to the star tells PEOPLE.
According to the insider, Singer was left injured in the accident and is “a little swollen and bruised” but recovering well.
“She was very shaken,” says the source. “It was very upsetting for her.”
A rep for the star did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment. Page Six first reported the news of the accident.

Jill Zarin Reacts to the "Overwhelming Love" From Her Real Housewives Family After Husband Bobby's Death

Jill Zarin is expressing gratitude for the love and support she continues to receive from family and friends.
After Bobby Zarin passed away at 71 from a long battle with cancer, several members of the Real Housewives franchise have touched the family with their acts of kindness.
"Overwhelming love," Jill shared with E! News exclusively when describing the outreach from her reality TV family. "Ramona Singer has been incredible. She texts me, she e-mails me, she showed up at the hospital early on. All the Housewives."
The reality star continued, "I've gotten flowers from Vicki Gunvalson. I got an e-mail today from Melissa Gorga. Cynthia Bailey wanted to come [to the funeral]. Andy Cohen gave a shout out to Bobby [by] giving him the Mazel of the Week."
Jill also expressed gratitude to many other friends including Wendy Williams for her "beautiful tribute" during "Hot Topics" earlier this week.
Another thing that left the Zarin family feeling grateful was the amount of people who showed up to remember Bobby at his funeral service Monday morning in New York. "It was very surreal to walk in and have all these people around me," Jill shared with E! News. "People who I haven't seen in 20 years showed up. People flew in from as far as Ghana, Florida, California, Chicago, all over the place. They all dropped what they were doing and they came."

The Real Housewives of New York City alum said goodbye to her husband, with whom she celebrated her 18th wedding anniversary on January 4, in the post, which also included several sweet photos of the couple through the years. "Rest In Peace my love. Words cannot express the hole in my heart. Bobby taught me what true and deep love is," Jill wrote. "Thank you my love for sharing your life with me.. for raising [Jill's daughter] Allyson as if she was your own, being an amazing father and grandfather and teaching me how to be a better person. You inspire those around you to be the best they can be. I will never forget you... your legacy lives on through your beautiful children and grandchildren."
Bobby passed away at age 71 after a battle with cancer. He was first diagnosed with thyroid cancer in 2009. Jill confirmed in November 2016 that Bobby's cancer had returned. He was hospitalized in July 2017 due to complications from his illness. "I will continue to raise money and awareness for ITOG (International Thyroid Oncology Group) so maybe this won’t happen to the next guy who draws the proverbial short straw," Jill also shared in her message. "I will continue to honor you and make you proud. You taught me so many lessons. I will turn the lights off when I leave a room and try not to lose my keys! Lists! Yes, I will make lists now that you can’t remind me."
Jill ended her note by thanking all those who have given her and Bobby their love and support during this difficult time. "Thank you to all our friends, family and fans for the most incredible love you have shown our family. The messages bring tears to my eyes and will continue reading them all in the coming weeks," she wrote. "I will continue my tribute in the coming days and weeks and if you want to share anything please leave messages. Tomorrow is the funeral so I will sleep now. Love Jill."

Bobby was first diagnosed with thyroid cancer in June 2009 and it returned to his brain in November 2016.
The couple celebrated 18 years of marriage earlier this month. At the time, Jill, who formerly starred on “The Real Housewives of New York,” gushed about the pair’s longtime relationship, writing, “Bobby is the most perfect man I know. He never loses anything, never forgets anything and when I think he is wrong … he is always right! … truly a Love Story.”

Bethenny Frankel Extends Support to Jill Zarin's Husband Bobby Amid Cancer Battle

Bethenny Frankel put her rocky history with Jill Zarin aside in order to show her support for Jill's husband, Bobby Zarin, as he continues to battle cancer.
As you may recall, the former Real Housewives of New York City stars haven't spoken in quite some time after their fallout several years ago. But all of that has changed as of recently.
E! News can confirm Bethenny put the drama aside, sending the Zarin family a thoughtful gift during this difficult time.
In fact, Millionaire Matchmaker Patti Stranger joined Heather McDonald's podcast Juicy Scoop earlier this week and dished more details about the situation..
"Bobby's dying. He doesn't have a lot of time," Patti said. "This is not something to play around with. Network antics aside, me and Andy [Cohen] have been texting and e-mailing, and this last week, Bethenny did send a basket of goodies to Bobby."
Patti continued, "At the end of the day, if you get sick—like Bobby—you need support, and we can all get sick."
