Ana Quincoces Has a Solution for Single Women

MiamiHerald.com:
Ana Quincoces likes to think of herself as a fierce, independent, single woman, but everyone needs a little help sometimes

Especially with zippers.

You know what we are talking about, ladies.

When you don’t have anyone to zip you up, what’s a woman to do?

“Necessity is the mother of invention,” said Quincoces, who came up with a product called ZipEaze, a gadget with a clip that hangs from a zebra print lanyard. “My kids moved away. I was all alone, sitting around in a bathrobe, sipping martinis and smoking cigarettes.” (That’s a joke, folks.)
One memorable night the divorced mother of two was even forced to sleep in a particularly tricky high-necked jumpsuit.

That’s when she started using her noggin.

“I thought, ‘I can’t be the only person with this problem,’ ” said the former “Real Housewives of Miami” star, who found a lanyard in a drawer and attached a clip to it — and voila. “It took me about 45 minutes struggling, but I was able to finally get the zipper up and down. I said, ‘I’ll come up with something and use that premise.’”

ZipEaze, which can be found on zipeaze.com and may be in some brick-and-mortar stores soon, isn’t all Quincoces has going on. Her line of Skinny Latina marinades are doing well and the “The Next Food Network Star” finalist is developing new flavors for fall.

Ana Quincoces Now A Contestant on "Food Network Star"

Inquisitr.com:
Ana Quincoces may be a name that rings some bells if you are an avid watcher of the Real Housewives franchise. Before The Real Housewives of Miami was canceled by Bravo, Ana starred on the show, and fans remember her for being a feisty woman who didn’t take anything from anyone.

Quincoces was working in the legal field, which gave her an edge, but she was also unhappy with being caught up in cheating rumors, as Karent Sierra’s then-boyfriend had been cheating on her with a woman named Anna. Quincoces has left the drama of The Real Housewives of Miami behind, and she’s now ready to fight again — but on her terms.

According to a new Bravo report, Ana Quincoces is a contestant on Food Network Star, a show about talented cooks who are competing to get their own cooking show on the network. While she was filming The Real Housewives of Miami, Ana was often spotted cooking in her kitchen, and she has admitted that she’s talented when it comes to Cuban food. But the Cuban angle won’t be her winning edge — it will be her ability to make something out of nothing.

“Making something from nothing. I will go into a kitchen with bare cupboards and very little in the refrigerator and I can make something really great,” Ana told The Food Network of this new experience, according to Bravo. “It’s kind of like a challenge. I think if you go to the grocery store and buy every single ingredient you need to make a meal… anybody can do that. So if I have something, some starting point, I will kind of figure something out with whatever’s available. That and the fact that I’m fast in the kitchen. I think I have an ability to balance flavors really well. Different dimensions of flavors and different layers of flavor. I think… the hallmark of Cuban cooking is very much like that. So, I think I have that ability.”

Of course, Ana Quincoces does have working experience in the food industry. She’s a cookbook author and chef, and she’s created a line called the Skinny Latina. She’s a finalist on the show, and she’s so close to landing her own show. Does she have a weakness that could prevent her from winning? No, but she does have a weakness: her sweet tooth.

Ana Quincoces Arrested For Driving With Suspended , Blames Cockroaches

MiamiNewTimes.com:
Ana Quincoces' time on The Real Housewives of Miami was brief, but her vacation time down in the Florida Keys was cut even shorter. First by cockroaches and then by the law.

Quincoces had a suspended driver's license but continued to drive freely. Apparently she's been spending a lot of time down in the Keys, because Monroe County Sheriff's Deputies had previously informed her of her license status and that she shouldn't be driving. In fact, back on February 9, Deputy Bryan Cross had responded to a disturbance call in Key Largo and encountered Quincoces, according to the arrest report. Cross and a fellow deputy at the time informed her that her license was suspended, seized it, and told her not to drive.

Fast-forward to this past Sunday. Deputy Cross was doing a security check near Mile Marker 99 of U.S. 1 at 3:40 a.m. when he noticed a familiar Subaru SUV driving down the road. He recognized it as Quincoces' vehicle and pulled her over.

Quincoces had still not fixed her license situation, and Cross asked her why she was driving when she had previously been told not to. Quincoces had no excuse and was arrested on misdemeanor charges and taken to a jail on Plantation Key for a few hours.

However, according to Keys Info, Quincoces now has an excuse. She says she was staying in a home that had been listed by a realtor friend of hers, but found that the home was full of cockroaches. She said she just wanted to return home and didn't know she had a suspended license.

The grand irony of Quincoces' apparent inability to understand basic law regarding driver's license suspension is that she is indeed a lawyer by trade. She's also a cookbook author and "chef," but who isn't these days?

Quincoces, a 50 year old from Coral Gables, first appeared on the first season of Real Housewives of Miami as a guest, returned to the second season a main cast member, and was downgraded to recurring "friend of the Housewives" in season three. The show has not been officially cancelled or renewed by Bravo.

Alexia Echevarria Returns To Full-Time 'Housewife', Karent Sierra Out, Marysol Patton & Ana Quincoces Demoted In 'Real Housewives of Miami' Season 3

Clearly Karent Sierra couldn't handle the drama so she's gone. As for Ana Quincoces being demoted, I doubt too many people will care. Marysol Patton was never a fave of mine, much less her hideous-looking mother. Good to see Alexia return to full-time status tho as at least she was interesting, tho it was wishful thinking on my part that they'd get rid of that skank Joanna Krupa:
The women of Bravo's "The Real Housewives of Miami" will be back for its third season starting Monday, Aug. 12 at 9/8c, with a few cast changes.

While Lea Black, Adriana de Moura, Alexia Echevarria, Lisa Hochstein and Joanna Krupa are returning as full-fledged cast members, public relations expert Marysol Patton and attorney Ana Quincoces have been downgraded to recurring roles. Additionally, there is no sign of celebrity dentist Karent Sierra on Season 3.

In its third year, Krupa and de Moura plan their weddings and the related drama; Black deals with her social circle and tries to define herself as more than just a housewife; Echevarria continues to nurse her son back to recovery after a car accident, while her other son hits hard times as well; and Hochstein is determined to conquer her fertility problems and grow her family.

Last season, Bravo brought back "The Real Housewives of Miami" from what many considered was definite cancelation after very little buzz and low ratings for its debut season. Season 2, which had about three times the episodes than its first season, saw a slight bump in its ratings numbers. It attracted 1.25 million viewers to its finale compared to the 1.09 million viewers who tuned into the previous season-ender.

Purveyors of Pop, the production company behind the show's sophomore year makeover, will continue on for its third season.

Karent Sierra Blasts Alexia Echevarria, Ana Quincoces & Marysol Patton

RumorFix.com:
In an exclusive no-holds barred interview with RumorFix, Real Housewives of Miami’s Karent Sierra takes on rumors from the show including — who’s gay, who wants a divorce and who got married just for TV.

The dentist is still fired up from the explosive reunion where she accused some of the ladies of being bullies.

“The word bully got criticized [by Ana Quincoces on the reunion] saying bullies are just for kids,” she told our Real Mr. Housewife. ” There is no age limit for bullying. Yes, bullying takes place in high schools and elementary schools, but guess what? 30-year-olds, and 40-year-olds, and 50-year-olds still suffer from bullying. So the fact that Ana was like ‘Oh you shouldn’t be using that word’ — There is no age limit. People need to act their age and just respect everyone’s opinions.”

That discussion opened up some old wounds and the good doctor gave examples of rumors she thinks are hurtful.

“I know Alexia [Echevarria] — I heard about her– the rumors of her husband being gay have been out there. There’s a lot of people I know that say they have proof. Do I care? No! That’s her problem. If she has an arranged marriage, if she has a man that buys her things and they arrange it and they’re happy that way, that’s not my business,” she tells us.

“I don’t care if Marysol [Patton] got married for the show last season,” she adds.

She’s on a roll now — so Karent tells us, “I don’t care that Ana’s [Quincoces] husband has been wanting to divorce her and she doesn’t want to sign the papers. That’s not my business.”

Making a point, the brunette adds, “I don’t care. I live my life. I didn’t know that I was that important in these women’s lives for them to think about and talk about me. I have other priorities in life. I have a life. I don’t spend my days stalking anybody’s Facebook page like Ana did or talking about somebody else’s relationship behind their backs. I live my life and if they’re happy with theirs that’s all that matters. It’s been an interesting season.”

Sierra then addressed the rumors that have been circulating about the folder Ana had next to her on the couch that allegedly contained information “exposing” certain things about Lea Black.

There were rumors that Bravo was threatened to be sued and/or possibly was paid by famed lawyer Roy Black, Lea’s husband, not to show some controversial footage.

Karent clarified saying, “I will tell you — when we signed the contract with Bravo we basically sign our life away. As long as you’re mic-ed and working, you’re basically signing your life away. That contract is valid and can be held up in court. It’s easy once again to throw around rumors that Lea or Roy Black would have paid off someone to do that. Let me tell you, if Bravo would have aired something, I don’t even know all the mess they’re talking about… That would have been gold to ratings. Bravo is not that stupid to take something off that would have been incredible for ratings. “

Karent says she doesn’t know what was in the folder nor did she see the papers. She said it was a just “a prop” that Ana used for the reunion show and it made her look like “a very bitter woman.”

Karent Sierra Splits From Boyfriend Rodolfo Jimenz

Gather.com:
Karent Sierra and Rodolfo Jimenez's relationship has been seen on the currently airing second season of Real Housewives of Miami and while they seemed to be totally in love, Rodolfo sent some questionable text messages to Karent's co-star Ana Quincoces which left fans wondering if his intentions were pure. Karent played off Rodolfo's indiscretions on the show, but now the pair has split and Karent is telling all.

During a recent taping of VH1's Big Morning Buzz, Karent explained, "Men don't change. If they're caught lying and they're caught cheating once, they're most likely going to be doing it again. And I just can't live with that insecurity, I need to be secure in my relationship as well as myself." Once Karent realized that Rodolfo just wasn't treating her right, she decided to call it quits and not look back.

Prior to the break-up, friends and family had warned her that Rodolfo was no good, but she was just too in love to realize it for herself. "Until you're ready to make that step, until you're ready to open your eyes, it doesn't matter who tells you. My mom was telling me through the roof, it was hard for her to accept him because we had already broken up once." It's good to hear that Karent has finally moved on and is ready to find someone worthy of her who will treat her the way she deserves to be treated.

"I didn't think he was the best match for her from the beginning, none of us did," Karent's co-star Lisa added. "We were kind of pushing her to make this day happen and we're so happy she finally sees the light."

Alexia Echevarria Speaks On Why She Can’t Stand New Housewife Karent Sierra

Hollywoodlife.com:
Alexia stopped by the HollywoodLife.com offices to talk about the explosive season two premiere of ‘The Real Housewives of Miami’ and why out of all the four new housewives, she can’t get along with Karent!

Alexia Echevarria is excited for everyone to see the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Miami, but don’t expect her to become besties with Karent Sierra.

“I think the one that is [crawling under my skin] is Karent,” Alexia tells us. “You’ve haven’t had the pleasure to meet her but I’m sure she’ll do the same thing to you. In episode one, you don’t really see it, but I knew her from before. She gave me a very cold greeting so I took it very personally. This was my first time out in six months and I saw her with her smile … and it did bother me because she did know me.”

The Real Housewives of Miami: Meet Lisa Hochstein and Ana Quincoces

TVOvermind.com:
The Real Housewives of Miami return this week and today we continue introducing the new Housewives who are sure to add some much-needed drama to the show this year. Monday, you met Dr. Karent Sierra and Polish model Joanna Krupa, who will take center stage while dishing their own slices of drama to the cast. Now, TVO would like you to meet the triple threat businesswoman Ana Quincoces and professional Housewife Lisa Hochstein.

Ana Quincoces, Esq.

Last year, Alexia Echevarria was considered the resident Cuban Barbie on the Real Housewives of Miami. But Ana Quincoces has stolen that title by having the looks, brains, and resume that would make an actual Barbie doll go, "F*ck that bitch!".  With the hectic occupations of lawyer, chef, and writer under her belt, will Ana be able to add 'reality show star' to her roster?

What Bravo Wants You To Know...

As we've already stated, Ana is a well sought out lawyer and celebrity chef, who has authored three cookbooks and is a partner at her own firm, which she co-owns with her ex-husband. Ana also adores her two daughters Kati (20) and Beba (19) and the three still have family dinner with her ex-husband Robert.

What A Quick Google Search Will Tell You...

Turns out that Chef Ana has tons of cooking videos on YouTube and a personal blog that looks like it is kind of kept up regularly. And her food looks to die for. No wonder her ex-husband hasn't strayed too far from the nest.

Do We Love Her Or Hate Her?

Ana seems like she will bump heads with only one other hard-working Housewife on The Real Housewives of Miami. However, as far as attitude goes, she's a bit reserved for the crowd she's been thrust into. Kind of like if Kathy Wakile from The Real Housewives of New Jersey were to join the ladies of Orange County.

Not a good fit. With all that said, Ana still maintains a level of intrigue that will be interesting to see, especially the state of affairs with her husband and the situation with Dr. Karent's boyfriend, Rodolfo. Can you say, 'awkward?'

Lisa Hochstein (@lisahochstein )

While six out of the seven ladies (plus Alexia) have careers that have firmly established them in the Miami social community, 29-year old Lisa Hochstein only has one talent that has garnered her attention: "Professional Housewife." At least she's honest about that... unlike some other Real Housewives.

What Bravo Wants You To Know...

After marrying Dr. Lenny "Boob God" Hochstein in 2009, Lisa has mostly traveled the world with her husband, who gave her the plastic surgery she unabashedly flaunts around. Calling herself her husband's business card (and I'm only paraphrasing), Lisa is a true Miami socialite who recently purchased a house on Star Island where she resides with Lenny and her two dogs, Leo and Puffy. Lisa has also posed for Playboy three times, meaning she and Joanna Krupa don't mind going nude for the right cause, which in Lisa's case would be money.

What A Quick Google Search Will Tell You...

Unless you want to know about Lenny's background and the surgeries he's done, or Lisa Hochstein, the Los Angeles based artist, then there is nothing else circulating on the web. Except maybe those Playboy photos.

Do We Love Her or Hate Her?

Lisa will butt heads with Lea initially, but let's pray that it is temporary and doesn't carry over into the rest of the season. Why? Remember the 'fight' between Cristy Rice and Lea over that unpaid ticket from Lea's Annual Ball? If you don't, then you are cool and Blessed soul. If you do, then yea, we don't ned hat in our peripheral again. As far as Lisa's interaction with the other women? I think she will be able to bring her own fire to The Real Housewives of Miami just by being herself, which is unapologetically real.
