Dina Manzo Reveals the Last Time She Spoke to Her Estranged Sister Caroline
BravoTV.com:
Sometimes time heals wounds, but when it comes to the fractured relationship between Caroline Manzo and Dina Manzo, that doesn't seem to be the case. When Dina appeared on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live, she not only confirmed her engagement to David Cantin, but also offered an update on where things stand with her sister and fellow The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum.
“Caroline does not speak to me at all … we haven’t spoken in two years,” Dina said about the Manzo'd with Children matriarch, via PEOPLE. She noted that fame may have contributed to their rift: “People become [caricatures] of themselves. A little part of what people say that they liked, they tend to put it on.”
While she noted about the crew in her chat with the Flipping Out designer that “I think we all changed" once the show premiered, she adds she saw a bigger transformation in her sister: “It was when I didn’t recognize who she was any more that I said, ‘I’m out.’”
She continued, “And then the television thing [factored in] after I watched Season 1. I was saying very nice things about them and watching back, they weren’t doing the same for me. So I was like, ‘What the f---?’ Is there envy going on here? They don’t want me to look good?’ I don’t know, but it freaked me out.”
In the midst of their rift, life has not only changed for Dina who has found love again, but also for Caroline who became a grandma last year. Dina added, “Maybe becoming a grandmother has brought her back down to earth."
While Caroline and Dina don't speak, Dina did note that she is close to her other siblings. “That’s what people don’t realize. I get infuriated when people say, ‘You don’t speak to your family.’ I have 10 siblings,” she said. “[My brother] Chris [Laurita], I saw him not too long ago, when we lived in Malibu and he came out and we had a nice dinner. We don’t see each other often because we’re on different coasts. But we’re definitely fine. And Jacqueline as well. If they called me tomorrow and they needed me, I’ll be there. They’re great.”RELATED: Dina Manzo Reveals How Former Best Friend Dolores Catania Betrayed Her, Says She’s Skeptical of Teresa Giuidice & Danielle Staub’s Friendship

Dolores Catania on Her Real Issue with Danielle Staub
BravoTV.com:
Danielle Staub made her triumphant return to The Real Housewives of New Jersey this season, but not all of the Garden State gals were ready to give her a warm welcome. Tension brewed almost immediately between Danielle and Dolores Catania, especially when Danielle told Teresa Giudice that Dolores had not been saying such kind things about her behind her back, which Dolores denied.RELATED: Teresa Giudice and Dolores Catania Face Off Over *That* Rumor and It Gets Intense: 5 Clips You Need to See
So what is it really about Danielle that makes it so hard for Dolores to get along with her? The RHONJ mom broke it down when she appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen Wednesday night (clip above). "OK, well, I embraced Danielle when I first met her, although I heard many terrible things about things she's done to people," Dolores explained to Andy Cohen. "She started something between me and Teresa that wasn't true. She told Teresa I was talking about her very early into this whole relationship, and I wasn't. And also, she antagonizes me and she mocks me about my relationship with Frank Catania."
Taking all of that into consideration, you might think that Dolores wouldn't be too fond of Danielle's rekindled friendship with Teresa this season. Although Dolores said that she doesn't "think anything's really genuine about" Danielle, she wasn't completely against her striking up a relationship with Teresa again, either. "And as far as Teresa and Danielle, I mean, right now, it's a new relationship; it's kind of superficial. It's just new," Dolores shared during Wednesday's WWHL After Show (clip below). "We'll see what happens. You never know. I could be wrong. I hope I'm wrong. I hope they run off into the sunset and stay friends, but who knows what could happen."

Dolores Catania On Why She Still Lives With Her Ex-Husband
BravoTV.com:
Dolores Catania recently revealed she's been dating her new boyfriend, Dr. David Principe, for the past year — yet she's currently living with her ex-husband Frank Catania. Wait, how did that happen?RELATED: Grandmother of Real Housewives cast member celebrates her 104th birthday
"My ex and his girlfriend have been together 11 years and they're in this thing where they keep fighting about the same thing," The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom explains to The Daily Dish. "Nothing's getting better, so it's time to take a break. I think after 11 or 12 years, it's worth giving it a shot, maybe you need a little break and not be in the same house and argue about the same things, so he moves back in with me."
That could be a recipe for disaster, but it sounds like Dolores honestly loves it.
"It's the greatest thing!" she exclaims. "I come home, he's mopping my floor, he's handling my appointments, he's doing the dishes, he's paying all the bills."
Pal Siggy Flicker says, "It's hard for people to understand, but Dolores and I have extremely good relationships with our exes. My ex-husband was the best man at my wedding, Dolores' ex Frank and my ex have a wonderful relationship. You know why? Because we're able to put our egos aside and it benefits [our kids] Frankie, Gabby, Sophie and Joshua. So if my ex said, 'Hey, I don't know what I'm doing right now and I need a place to stay,' I'd say, 'My house is your house, your kids are living there.' Dolores did the same thing."

Dolores Catania Is Still Friends With Jacqueline Laurita
Bravo.com:
Jacqueline Laurita may be gone, but she's definitely not forgotten in Dolores Catania's eyes. In fact, The Real Housewives of Jersey pal definitely keeps in touch with the Garden State alum after she confirmed her exit from the show back in August.RELATED: Dolores Catania's Son's Friends Thinks She and Frank Are Swingers (EXCLUSIVE)
"I do, I do. Jacqueline has a heart of gold," Dolores revealed on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Wednesday. "I don't see her enough 'cause I've been so busy."
Though it is fairly easy for the two ladies to stay in contact, since, as Dolores noted, "She lives around the corner from me, actually."

Danielle Staub On Why She Thinks Siggy Flicker and Dolores Catania Need a Table Flipped at Them
EOnline.com:
Danielle Staub got into her first true conflict during her triumphant return to The Real Housewives of New Jersey and it involved being called "scumbag" by Dolores Catania. Not once, but five times in a row, Danielle pointed out to us.
"I wanted to give her a thesaurus, to be honest with you," she told E! News.
This came after Danielle told Teresa Giudice that Dolores told her Teresa only cared about money, and then of course there's Cakegate with Siggy Flicker pissed at Teresa and Melissa Gorga over a playful cake food fight.
"I mean, clearly Siggy and Dolores need to have a table flipped at them to know the Cakegate isn't that big of a deal," Danielle cracked. "That's all I have to say on that one."
Filming done for the season and Danielle is still in contact with three women every day. "I've reached out several times to the other two. It's kind of met with silence," she said. And this time, she's ready for the reunion.RELATED: Danielle Staub Says She Wants to Make Amends with One Alum from The Real Housewives of New Jersey
"I didn't prepare myself because I never watched the seasons when it was on, so I didn't know what was going to happen when I would sit down on the couch, and then stuff would happen, things would be said," she said. "I would watch a scene and I was literally watching the scenes for the first time."
"This one I'm going in armed and ready," Danielle promised.

Dolores Catania on Why Danielle Staub Is a 'Professional Victim'
TooFab.com:
"The Real Housewives of New Jersey" picks up Wednesday night in Boca Raton, where Teresa Giudice is still mourning the loss of her mother, and the ladies debate whether throwing birthday cake at each other in a restaurant is considered trashy.RELATED: Dolores Catania's Update on Her Son Frankie's Dating Life Will Make You Say "Mamma Mia!"
TooFab spoke to sophomore star Dolores Catania ahead of Episode 2, where she dished on Teresa's return from prison and current marital status, what was going through her head when she saw Danielle Staub for the first time and the "3 Simple Rules to Being a Jersey Housewife."
"I dubbed Danielle Staub as a professional victim," Catania told TooFab. "And what a professional victim does is they try to garner that reaction. They'll poke you and poke you and poke you to get that and then they say, 'Oh, look, they hurt me.'"
"You'll see there's a scene with my father and my brother and that's a very pivotal time for me in this season where I get a grip and I start to handle things a little differently," she teased.
When asked what her initial thoughts were when Danielle "surprised" the ladies at Siggy Flicker's Boca Raton home during the premiere, Catania told TooFab: "Everything everyone's ever said about her."
Catania also teased an upcoming spat she'll have with Staub this season.
"The new people in the group try to put a wedge between friendships," she said. "And when there's nothing to say, sometimes people make things up. Listen, I'm clean. Try to find someone I've f-cked over, cheated on, stole from -- never. Danielle's been around town trying to find sh-t out on me. She'll never find one bad thing. No one has a bad thing to say about me. And if that's what makes me boring, I'll take it."
On newcomer Margaret Josephs, Catania said, "I didn't know her prior to Siggy, so I don't need to know her more than I already do because she doesn't get along with my friend."

Dolores Catania Details Daughter’s Hurricane Irma Ordeal
PageSix.com:
As Hurricane Irma continues its path of destruction, “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Dolores Catania is counting her blessings that daughter Gabrielle made it safely through the catastrophic storm while in veterinary school on St. Kitts.RELATED: Ramona Singer Worried for Ex-Husband Mario’s Safety as He Braves Hurricane Irma’s Wrath in Florida
“To Gabby’s credit, she’s a scrapper, she’s a farm girl. She rides horses, she delivers cows, that’s what she did in undergrad — Gabby is a tough chick,” the Bravo personality told Page Six Friday of her only daughter, who is studying at the Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine on the Caribbean island.
As the deadly hurricane thrashed through the waters earlier this week, Catania and her ex-husband, Frank, wanted to bring Gabrielle home. Unfortunately, the airport had already been shut down.
“Then the panic set in and I didn’t sleep for two days,” Catania recalled. “There’s nothing you can do, Mother Nature is going to take its course. We couldn’t get to her, so we had nothing left but to pray at that point.”
She said her biggest concern was whether her daughter’s building could handle the strength of the hurricane. According to the university’s website, student housing is located on the east side of the campus by the Caribbean Sea.

Siggy Flicker Says She and Dolores Catania Take Things From "a Two to a 10 Plus" This Season
BravoTV.com:
Well it seems Danielle Staub isn't the only one mixing things up in Season 8 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Siggy Flicker, who will be coming back for her second season as a Real Housewife, says fans are about to see a different side of her.RELATED: 'Real Housewives' star Catania to appear in 'Clinton Road' film
"I am coming back. I couldn't resist," Siggy told The Daily Dish podcast. "There's something about the girls that I truly love. A lot of people are like, 'Why do you love Jersey so much?' Because I like to surround myself with people who love their families. You're talking about Teresa, Melissa, Dolores and myself. We love our children, we love our husbands, we love our families, we love our ex-husbands. Family is really, really important to us, and I love being with them. And I'm with them when the cameras are down."
But it won't be all love and light this season.
"It's going to be a very interesting season. And you're going to see a lot of different sides, especially from me and Dolores. This season we really feel more comfortable with our positions, and we really go for it. So we take it from like a two to a 10 plus."

Danielle Staub’s Bathroom Romp With BF Caught By ‘RHONJ’ Cameras
RadarOnline.com:
Danielle Staub still can’t keep her romps to herself, RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal.RELATED: So Desperate! Dolores & Danielle Set To Bring The Fakery To ‘RHONJ’
The RHONJ star stopped her sex tape from leaking after she left the show eight years ago, but now her rendezvous with her new man Marty Caffrey could be aired on Bravo!
Multiple insiders confirmed to Radar that Staub and Caffrey had sex in the bathroom while filming the opening celebrations at Gorga’s Homemade Pasta & Pizza in May — and her costars were far from impressed from her humble brags about his ejaculation on her shoe.
“Dolores Catania went nuts calling her a pig,” an insider said, noting that Catania made it clear there were children present at Teresa Giudice, Joe Gorga and Melissa Gorga’s family event. The insiders did not mention if Staub’s daughters, Jillian and Christine, were in attendance.
Staub, 55, and Caffrey, 65, began dating in April 2016, just seven months before she teased her TV return to Radar. Their relationship began shortly after she split from fiancée Joe Masalta.
“My new relationship is public so whatever I do whether it’s this show or another show or anything I do with my life, yes, it’s here to been seen,” she told Radar at the time.

Dolores Catania Reveals Past History with 'Real Housewives of New Jersey', Botched Breast Surgery and How She's Responsible for Danielle Staub Getting on Show
NJ.com:
"Real Housewives of New Jersey" newbie Dolores Catania has actually been part of the extended "RHONJ" circle for years, but she tells OMJ.com that she was actually supposed to be one of titular housewives in the first season but dropped out, paving the way for Danielle Staub to join the cast.RELATED: RHONJ’s Dolores Catania on Her Botched Breast Surgery: They Looked Like Rocks in a Sock
Haledon's Catania, who is long divorced with two children (although she still has a cozy relationship with her ex-husband, as seen by his bankrolling of her kitchen renovation in season 7), decided to leave the show mid-taping for two reasons, she explains.
"My children were little at the time and they were at an age when they needed me, and the first season of 'Housewives' was taking a lot from everybody because it was huge." Also, she says, she had mixed feelings about playing the role of the "single girl," and "the way they were producing back then was not going to put me in a very good light. That was a parental decision for me. And they scrambled around to find someone."
They came up with Staub, a larger-than-life divorcee from Wayne who bragged about her romantic entanglements and wealth. A little digging into Staub's past by her co-stars (or savvy producers) turned up some less savory details, including an arrest for being part of a kidnapping for ransom plot, her admitted work as a stripper, and allegations she worked as a prostitute. That devolved into the instantly iconic "RHONJ" confrontation in which co-star Teresa Giudice attempting to flip a table on Staub.

Dolores Catania Explains Her Unconventional Relationship with Ex-Husband Frank
BravoTV.com:
Dolores Catania and her ex-husband Frank Catania are no longer married, but sometimes it almost seems like they're still together on The Real Housewives of New Jersey. They own businesses together, Frank led the remodeling of Dolores' home, and he even continues to manage her finances.
This is something the RHONJ newbie has gotten a lot of questions about. "Actually, there are a lot of men claiming their wives or girlfriends made them watch the show who come up to my ex husband to praise how we’ve been able to divorce so amicably," Dolores said during a recent interview published on The Huffington Post's Blogs section. "And women come to me and ask about this, but Frank has really gotten that question and been recognized."
Dolores briefly mentioned on RHONJ that she was recently engaged to someone else, but they decided to break up. "It never works out when a new partner does not understand the dynamics between Frank and myself," she said during the interview on The Huffington Post's Blogs. "Frank has been with his wonderful girlfriend for 12 years now and the relationship we have is great. If she can’t go somewhere with him, she’ll ask me if I’d like to attend because she completely understands it’s a friendship of 2 people who will always have kids they share [Gabrielle and Frankie]. His girlfriend not only accepts that there’s a family but she embraces it and we all have a good dynamic - all around."
Still, Dolores said she recognizes how unusual her relationship with Frank may seem to some people. "Frank and I are not married and obviously not involved beyond being good friends and co-parents as well as partners in business," she explained. "He called this morning to see how I’m doing & I sent him a pic of my butt because I just had work done yesterday - but this is completely normal for us."
However, it took some time for Dolores to rebuild that relationship with Frank after their marriage ended. "We had a very difficult time years ago and I had a lot of pain and anger to deal with. I mean, he cheated (he is not with that woman now, Thank God) and ended up leaving us right before I was supposed to give birth," Dolores said. "It took a lot of blood, sweat and tears but we were able to work it out. It certainly wasn’t always easy or anything like it looks now."RELATED: Real Housewives of New Jersey Star Dedicated to Making Rescue Dogs Feel Fresh and Clean

The Real Housewives of New Jersey Had a "Crazy" Season 7 Reunion
EOnline.com:
Did you hear anything strange on Thursday, Oct. 6? Like yelling and sobbing in the distance? It was probably from The Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion.
Bravo's ladies of the Garden State—Teresa Giudice, Jacqueline Laurita, Melissa Gorga, Siggy Flicker and Dolores Catania—assembled with Andy Cohen to rehash season seven's drama and boy was there a lot to unpack, from Teresa's return home from prison to the Vermont trip that ended in tears, and everything in between.
"The reunion was crazy," a source told E! News.
Jacqueline and Melissa started the season off as friends and Teresa and Jacqueline made up after Teresa returned home from prison…but everything fell apart (again) during the big trip to Vermont.Teresa and Melissa sat to one side of Andy with Jacqueline, Dolores and Siggy on the other. No "friends" of the Housewives appeared, like Kim D., Kathy Wakile or Rosie Pierri, but Chris Laurita and Joe Gorga did attend and filmed.
We're told the women "fought about everything they've been fighting about all season."
And it looks like the fighting will primary be between Jacqueline and the newly-united sister-in-laws. "Jacqueline and Melissa really went at it," a source told us. " Teresa and Jacqueline as well. Teresa went crazy on her."
In a Real Housewives reunion twist, nobody stormed off the reunion stage. However, keeping with tradition, there was more than one screaming match and some tears were certainly shed.RELATED: What The Real Housewives of New Jersey Has Taught Siggy and Dolores About Themselves
