Kim Fields Speaks On What She Learned From 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' Experience
Bravo.com:
Kim Fields' time on The Real Housewives of Atlanta may have been brief, but it was definitely meaningful. The RHOA alum looked back on Season 8 when she appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen Sunday night.RELATED: Was Kim Fields *Really* Restraining Herself on The Real Housewives of Atlanta?
Kim shared with Andy Cohen that RHOA did genuinely have a profound effect on her life. She revealed that her biggest takeaway from the show was that she "needed a happy place and time for myself." "I totally learned that from that experience," she said, adding that she has definitely changed after coming to that realization.
But when Andy asked Kim to name one thing that she misses about the RHOA ladies, it was not so easy for her to come up with an answer. In fact, her shady look said it all. This is one of those things that you just need to see for yourself in the clip, above.

Sheree Whitfield Returns Fulltime, No Newcomers on Season 9 of 'Real Housewives of Atlanta'
AJC.com:
Sheree Whitfield, who left the show after four seasons and returned part-time last year, has officially been given a full-time peach – and full-time salary – for the ninth season of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.”RELATED: It Looks Like Chateau Sheree Is Finally Complete
The show returns Sunday, November 6 on Bravo at 8 p.m.
Whitfield created some great one-liners such as “Who Gonna Check Me Boo?” but struggled to conjure up compelling personal stories or build her brand the way most of the other ladies have. (She by Sheree never quite broke through.) She was taken off the show in 2012 but came back last year in an recurring role. She clearly made enough of a positive impression to stick around this year.
Her “Chateau Sheree” home may or may not be livable at this point. It’s been unfinished for several years.
As previously reported, Kim Fields came season eight and left after just one season. This type of show was clearly not for her.
The other ladies – Porsha Williams, Cynthia Bailey, Kenya Moore, Kandi Burruss and Phaedra Parks – remain.
A press release provided some more plotlines:
In season nine of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” after coming to grips with the end of her marriage to Peter, Cynthia is looking forward to embracing this new chapter of her life with a fresh start in a new house. Kandi and Todd are still over the moon with the arrival of baby Ace, but juggling high-profile careers and parenting duties proves to be challenging, especially with Mama Joyce drudging up past issues between Kandi and Phaedra. With her law practice and social justice work taking up more of her time, Phaedra hires a tough new nanny to wrangle her growing rambunctious boys, Ayden and Dylan, as she awaits word of her divorce from Apollo being final. Porsha has rekindled a love connection with an old flame and in an effort to better herself, she begins anger management counseling. On the heels of juggling a tumultuous relationship with her boyfriend Matt, Kenya channels her love struggles by racing to finish “Moore Manor.” Just up the road at “Chateau Shereè,” and holding a peach for the first time since season four, Shereè puts on her “Momager” hat with hopes of her son being The Bailey Agency’s next top model. Coming up this season, there are major twists in relationships among the group from unexpected alliances that form as well as shocking accusations that could end an old friendship beyond repair. Kim Fields Eliminated from 'Dancing with the Stars'
ABCNews.com:
It was a dazzling and daring night in the ballroom as “Dancing With the Stars” delivered a stunning, albeit sad, double elimination on “Icons Night.”Kim Fields and Von Miller got the boot despite Fields earning her highest score of the season for her samba to Jackson 5.“It was very much a shocker. I’m very stunned,” Fields, 46, said on “Good Morning America” today. “Even as it was unfolding, it was like, ‘Okay, Wanyá is saved,’ and then we were just listening like, ‘Wait, this is this.’ Just stunned, and now it’s like a bad Vine that plays in my head of Tom [Bergeron] just saying ‘Kim.’”Her professional partner, Sasha Farber, lifted her spirits by complimenting her dancing ability.“If you’re going to go, you go out on a bang,” he said. “She got three 9s, and she looked amazing and I’m just happy that I got this opportunity to dance with this amazing woman and be there by your side and see you grow as a dancer.”

Kim Fields Changes Mind, May Return to 'Real Housewives of Atlanta'
ADW.com:
After Kim Fields was practically run off the “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” and blaming Kenya Moore for her decision to leave, Fields is now considering a return for Season 8.RELATED: Kim Fields Pushed Out of Comfort Zone on "DWTS"
Just last week, Fields attributed her decision to walk away after just one season of RHOA to Kenya Moore constantly questioning the masculinity of her husband, Christopher Morgan, and derisively calling him Chrissy.
The iconic former star of “Facts of Life” and “Living Single” seemed out of place during her inaugural season on RHOA and many fans of the show called for her ouster. And after Moore and others mocked Fields’ husband’s sexuality, she agreed she needed to leave.
Fields told Hello Beautiful that she may have had a change of heart, stating:
“No decisions have been made about RHOA, as I am focusing on my dancing adventure.”
But Fields, a current contestant on the ultra-popular “Dancing with the Stars,” says her decisions regarding her career are solely motivated by what she thinks is best for herself and her family.
“Any and all decisions made about my career are based on those factors, period,” she added.

Kim Fields Blames Kenya Moore for Quitting ‘RHOA’
ADW.com:
Kim Fields made it known that she would be saying “deuces” to the “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” But we could only speculate as to why.RELATED: Kenya Moore Shares Photo of Nearly Finished Moore Manor
Now we know why for sure.
Fields has let it be known that she is leaving RHOA because serial instigator Kenya Moore rel taunted her and her husband with his alleged sexual orientation.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s fans offered a mixed reaction to Kim Fields’ recent admission that she has no plans to return to RHOA after her debut season on the show.
But despite her claims that her time on the Bravo hit was pretty positive, a source speaking to Life & Style revealed that Fields had some serious issues with the RHOA team!
According to the insider, the gay rumors that were shared about her husband, Christopher Morgan, were one of Fields’ biggest points of frustration on RHOA.
The source added that Fields asked that the footage be edited out of the show, but her request was completely denied.
The source said that her nasty feud with Kenya Moore likely made her decision to leave RHOA a lot easier!
“Kenya Moore just kept coming after her,” the source said, adding that she had major issues with the cast’s attitudes and professionalism as well. “Kim felt the network did nothing!” the source continued.

Kim Fields Calls Kenya Moore’s Apology “Ridiculous”
Wetpaint.com:
The Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion may be over, but the feud between Kim Fields and Kenya Moore rages on.RELATED: WATCH: Andy Cohen Disses Kenya Moore Over Her Apology To Christopher Morgan In 'RHOA' Reunion Clip
On the third and final installment of the reunion show, Kim’s husband, Chris Morgan, and Kenya got into it once again after he confronted her regarding the gay rumors about him she claimed were rampant in Hollywood.
Rather than admit she was wrong for bringing up the rumors, Kenya only said she was sorry Chris was offended, a declaration Andy Cohen deemed “a crappy apology."
In a new interview with BravoTV.com, Kim says Andy didn’t miss the mark with his assessment of the situation, saying, “It was as ridiculous as its source. Agreed with Andy, it was crappy.”
Despite her fellow castmates saying she didn’t fit in with the show, Kim admits she’s not trying to.
“I don't believe I was invited to this show to fit in, but be myself,” she reveals.

Kim Fields: I’m ‘Done’ With 'Real Housewives of Atlanta'
USWeekly.com:
One and done! Kim Fields announced that she will not be returning to the Real Housewives of Atlanta for another season during a chat with the hosts of The Rickey Smiley Morning Show on Monday, March 21. The Facts of Life actress, 46, joined the cast in 2015 for season 8 of the hit reality show.Nene was right on Kim Fields not 'being a good fit' for RHOA and I guess Kim finally caught on too. Moving forward, I'd bring back Sheree full-time (esp. since it looks like she's back with ex-husband Bob and wouldn't we all like to see if Chateau Sheree ever gets done?) and hey if RHOA can afford Nene's price tag, why not bring the Queen back full-time too?
“It feels more like Brett Favre and the Jets, you know — I'm done,” Fields said, referencing the quarterback’s single season with the NFL team. "I think about too, at the beginning of the season, what did my mama say? ‘Get in and get out.’ Listen to your mama.”
Though she won’t be back, the TV director said she’s thankful for her time on Housewives. "It was for the experience,” she told the radio show. "It was to be able to do a genre that I’d been asked to do before and finding a way to do it that made sense for my team and and for the family. Overall it was a really great experience."
Fields also discussed her ongoing feud with Kenya Moore, who bashed her success in an episode earlier this year. “I don’t think we can really always judge how people feel about their own successes,” the Living Single actress said. "Just enjoy what you got!”

NeNe Leakes Claps Back At ‘Violent’ Porsha Williams’ Claims That She Once Choked Out Kim Zolciak
Bossip.com:
During last night’s RHOA season finale viewers watched as the ladies attend a lavish Christmas party thrown by Phaedra Parks….where Kenya, a Jehovah’s Witness, showed up as The Grinch with her boyfriend Matt Jordan in tow…and NeNe and Kandi attempted to patch up their “oil and water” relationship.
And while the finale was rather lackluster, fans are now anticipating the RHOA reunion where they’ll apparently see “shocking footage” of that SECOND brawl that Porsha Williams got into this season.
Viewers will also see NeNe call out Porsha for “putting her hands on people”, to which Porsha replies, “But didn’t you choke someone?”
Ooop!
But who’s Porsha accusing NeNe of catch fade with????
Kim Zolciak.
If you can remember, back in 2009 Entertainment Tonight reported that a 911 call was placed by Kim Zolciak who claimed that NeNe choked her during an argument.
A police report was filed but no charges were pressed.
NeNe has since clapped back at Porsha’s choking claims and instead says that no one’s ever SEEN her be violent. “I’m not a saint but I’m no fool either,” said NeNe on Instagram.RELATED: NeNe Leakes vs. Kim Fields? The Real Housewives of Atlanta Reunion Trailer Is So Shady

Kim Fields' Husband Christopher Has Strong Words for Kenya Moore After Real Housewives of Atlanta Gay Allegations
EOnline.com:
When The Real Housewives of Atlanta headed on down to Jamaica this season, the feud brewing between Kenya Michaels and Kim Fields reached a near fever pitch thanks to Kenya's pettiness over Cynthia Bailey's commercial shoot—and it also took on some collateral damage.RELATED: Who Is Kim Fields Of ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Season 22?
You'll recall the evening spent around the pool when Kenya made some serious allegations about Kim's husband Christopher Morgan's sexuality, only brave enough to do so with her enemy far away in her hotel room, preparing for the morning's commercial shoot. It was an ugly sight, with the other ladies joining in to pile on with speculation over Kenya's insistence that "for the last 10 years, there have been pervasive rumors about Kim's husband."
"They call him Chrissy," she said to much laughter. We weren't that cool with it when we wrote about it at the time. And lo and behold, neither was Christopher. Breaking his silence for the first time since the fiasco aired last month, Chris spoke exclusively with E! News about the ordeal. What follows is our unedited conversation, wherein Chris has some particularly choice words for Ms. Moore.
I wanted to start off by asking what this whole experience has been like. You've not only lived through all this, but you've then had to watch it back on TV and relive it all over again. What's that like?
Interesting. It has been fun to watch my wife and I interact from a fly-on-the-wall perspective. We have a very funny banter and sometimes when you're just living it, you can take it for granted. That's just the way we are, you know? It's funny to go back and be able to watch it over and over again and hear some of the things she's said and go, ‘My god, that's brilliant. That just came rolling off of her tongue.' It's hysterical to me. That's been, I think, the most enjoyable part for me, is getting a chance to actually go back after the fact and really get a chance to hear some of the things that are said and enjoy some of the things my kids say. It's almost like having a living photo album.
You've also had some bad experiences too, Jamaica especially. I'm just going to jump right into it: Kenya made some pretty serious allegations that night around the pool. That must've been hard to hear about and watch. What's your response to what Kenya had to say that night?
It's interesting. When someone spreads lies about you, you can either go at them in a defensive manner and be seen as defensive, or you can just let a lie be a lie. And she kind of put me in the middle with that situation because how I would handle that situation without the entire world watching is different than I would when someone spreads a lie about you in front of the nation and world. So, I felt immediately it was going to be important for me, at some time, to set the record straight that she had fabricated the entire conversation. There is no one in the industry that calls me anything other than my name, especially to my face. Kimmy and I weren't together in the Living Single days. So, she had to stretch pretty far to get that. [Kenya claims she first learned of the rumors surrounding Chris when she guest starred on Kim's Fox sitcom, which ran from 1993-1998. Only problem? Kim was married to someone else at the time. She didn't marry Chris until 2007.]
Now, I understand, I'm a Broadway performer without a real name, as far as Hollywood goes, and when Kim and I first got together, there was all kinds of speculation about me. Was I a deadbeat? Was I broke? Was I a drug addict? Was I a homosexual? There were all kind of rumors about me because nobody knew who this guy was dating, and eventually marrying, Kim Fields. She basically took that speculation, one aspect of it, and ran with it.
You know, if that's the way she wanted to play it, that's the way she's gonna play it. But as far as how it effected me? Number one: Obviously I'd been in this situation before when the situation happened the first time. But it didn't effect me then because I'm a musical theater performer that's been in the industry for 20 years. My god, I've been married for 19 of those? If I wasn't married, I was engaged to the woman I was married to the first time. So, it's been a long time that I've been me and I've had people speculate all kinds of things about me. At this point, it doesn't bother me.
What does bother me is that she took the platform that she did to spread the lie that she did, but at this point Kenya and I have spoken. She's apologized. She's apologized quite publicly. Maybe there's some room down the road for us to actually be friends. Right now, not at all. We'll see. The people that are watching the show will have to see. I don't know where my lady stands. The bottom line with that is, I'll be completely honest, if the shoe was on the other foot and somebody spread a rumor like that about my spouse, they don't really get back on the Christmas list for a couple years.

Kim Fields Calls Out "Irrelevant" Kenya Moore For Lying About Husband Being Gay
RollingOut.com:
Wendy Williams warned Kim Fields that joining the cast of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” wasn’t going to be fun for her, and true to Williams’ sentiment, Fields has had a rough time trying to fit in with the ladies and also deal with what seems to be constant shade from her co-star, Kenya Moore. Since the beginning of the season, the two ladies have been at odds with each other, with Moore throwing every bit of shade she possibly can at Fields during their beef. Although Fields has tried to keep her shade throwing to a minimum, it seems like she reached her breaking point last night because she posted a scathing Instagram post about Moore.RELATED: Does NeNe Leakes Think Kim Fields’ Husband Is Gay?
As fans of the show remember, Moore has claimed for months that Fields is boring and pompous and has thrown been throwing shade at her, while Fields has only hurled a sparse amount of disses in Moore’s direction.
However, things came to a head during the recent ladies’ trip to Jamaica when Cynthia Bailey asked Fields and Moore to co-direct her eyewear commercial and Bailey ended up choosing to work with Fields alone after Moore failed to show up to the pitch meeting and then completely failed to support Bailey during the shoot.
Since the decision, Moore claimed that Bailey was being a bad friend and that Fields was an unfit amateur at directing. She also claimed that Fields was trying to drive a wedge between her and Bailey, as well as alienate her from the rest of the cast. Moore took her shade a step further by also sharing news of rumors that Fields husband, Chris Morgan, is allegedly gay.
During last night’s episode, Fields brushed off the rumors about her husband and sat down with Moore to try and squash their beef. The ladies both claimed that they likely would never get along, but they both agreed to at least respect each other.
However, that pact was clearly thrown out of the window last night when Fields blasted Moore in an Instagram post.

Kenya Moore Calls Kim Fields' Husband Gay
USmagazine.com:
Trouble in paradise! As the Sunday, February 14, episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta began, Kenya Moore was still stewing over the news — as reported by Sheree Whitfield — that Cynthia Bailey had denied their friendship to NeNe Leakes (who had arrived in Jamaica with her husband, Gregg Leakes, the night before).Sheree instigated this mess, but Kenya really crossed the line with this one. Still, everybody knows that Kenya just loves being the villain.
In response to the perceived slight, Kenya opted to skip the group trip to see some of Peter Thomas' old stomping grounds in order to snuggle up with Matt, her boyfriend, at the spa instead.
Meanwhile, Cynthia and Peter, NeNe and Gregg, Kim Fields and Chris Morgan, Porsha Williams, Phaedra Parks, Sheree and Malorie headed off in a bus to enjoy an authentic fish fry and meet Peter's aunt.
"I never denied my friendship with Kenya," Cynthia explained. "All I said was, 'We are not best friends' — because we are not best friends!" Her tone quickly softened, though, as she started to cry. "I think last night it was clear that I'm excited that NeNe's back in my life, and if anything should have been taken from it, that's what should have been taken."
She continued on in a sort of manifesto moment. "I want to be good friends with everybody. We all have our different friendships." She did admit, however, "it's never going to be what it is with me and NeNe."

"She's living back in the Living Single days, the Facts of Life days, which was in the '80s, and I just really feel like she's walking around as though she's in her heyday, and she's not and really resents that I'm thriving on this show," Moore tells Us.

Cynthia Bailey's Husband Peter Thomas To Be Charged in Charlotte, NC Bar Assault
TusconNewsNow.com:
A member of the 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' (RHOA) show is facing an assault charge after an alleged incident inside a bar that he owns in Charlotte.RELATED: 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' Recap: Cynthia Bailey Accidentally Fans the Fire Between Kim Fields and Kenya Moore
According to court officials, a criminal summons has been issued for simple assault against Peter Thomas. Thomas is the husband of Cynthia Bailey and has been on the RHOA for five seasons.
Thomas opened Sports One Bar, along the 500-block of North College Street, in 2014.
According to a police report, officers were called to the uptown Charlotte bar early Sunday morning around 1:25 a.m.
A 45-year-old man told police he was assaulted in the bar. The man called WBTV and claimed Thomas assaulted him.
According to the police report, officers consulted with an off-duty police officer and a witness to the alleged incident and determined no assault occurred.
Monday, a Mecklenburg County judge reviewed the police report and issued a summons for Thomas' arrest on simple assault. As of Monday afternoon, that summons had not been served.
WBTV reached out to Sports One for comment, but has not heard back.
