Barbara Kavovit (Allegedly) Joining ‘The Real Housewives of New York City’ for Season 11

New blood in NYC! Barbara Kavovit is joining the cast of The Real Housewives of New York City season 11, a source confirms to Us Weekly.

Kavovit, who runs an on-the-go bag business called DIYva, is friends with longtime cast member Luann de Lesseps. The two women recently stepped out together at the Bluebird London grand opening party in NYC on September 5.

Fans may also remember Kavovit’s off-camera conversation with Carole Radziwill about de Lesseps’ relationship with her then-fiancé, Tom D’Agostino Jr., during season 9 of RHONY. While Kavovit did not appear on the episode, which aired in May 2017, Radziwill’s mic picked up their conversation at a mutual friends’ holiday party.

“I think she has something to prove,” Kavovit told Radziwill at the time about de Lesseps’ upcoming New Years Eve nuptials. “She’d rather go through with it and get divorced than call it off.”

According to reports, Kavovit tried to prevent Bravo from airing her conversation with Radziwill at the time. De Lesseps, meanwhile, did split from D’Agostino Jr. after only seven months of marriage in August 2017.

Kavovit may be a full-time cast member, per the source, but it’s too early to tell. News of her casting comes two months after Radziwill left the show following six seasons as a full-time cast member. While her former bestie Bethenny Frankel implied that she was fired, the former journalist stood by her claims that she made the decision to exit the series.

Possible 'Real Housewives of San Antonio' Series Moves On To Next Stage in Production

New photos show the could-be Real Housewives of San Antonio series is moving along.

The new, San Antonio-based Bravo show remains untitled, but fans who follow the show feel that all the behind-the-scenes happenings are pointing to an extension of the hit franchise.

The Twitter community of Real Housewives watchers have been keeping a close eye on the social media accounts of the probable cast members: Penelope Ayarzagoita, Lorena Martinez, Janet Montagne, Anayancy Nolasco and Luz Ortiz. Other characters tied to the filming include Mayra Farret and Karla Ramirez.

According to one account, @RealHousewivezz, Farret and her husband were shooting confessionals. Another fan, Bravo Boy, replied, saying confessional-filming will take place until December.

"Looking more and more like the Real Housewives of San Antonio," @RealHousewivezz tweeted.

Denise Richards Reportedly 'Very Close' to Joining the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: Source

There’s a new potential housewife in town!

A source tells PEOPLE that actress Denise Richards is in talks to join the cast for the ninth season of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

“It’s not final yet, it’s very close,” says the source. “Everyone is really excited about the possibility of having her on board!”

Richards, 47, is a mother of three daughters: Sam, 14, Lola, 13 and Eloise, 7. (Sam and Lola’s dad is Richards’ ex husband Charlie Sheen.)

The Wild Things star has been rumored to be in discussions with producers for years, but “the timing was never right,” says a second insider close to the show. “Denise has been wanting to join the show for a long time.”

“She’s a huge Housewives fan and watches all of the shows,” says the insider. “And she has close relationships with many of the women in real life, including Kyle Richards and Lisa Rinna. The timing was never right for her in the past, but the producers needed to shake the dynamic of the show up after a season without much conflict. She’s going to be a great fit. She’s not afraid of the drama. And she lives a glamorous, Hollywood life — which the show looks for.”

A rep for Bravo had no comment.

Jackie is a newspaper columnist and freelance writer who is also the mother of two sets of twins! She writes for her own website, IntoTheMommyBrain.com, and also contributes to Huffington Post and ScaryMommy.com. She recently wrote a profile on former Housewife Jacqueline Laurita for (201) Family magazine. She describes herself on her website as “a freelance writer, a former attorney and a Minivan driving chick hanging out in the suburbs of New Jersey with my husband, Evan.”

Jennifer Aydin is married to plastic surgeon, Dr. Bill Aydin. He runs Aydin Center for Plastic Surgery and together, they have five children. She’s also close friends with Teresa Giudice’s cousin Kathy Wakile. According to her Twitter bio, she’s “just a good ol’ fashioned New Jersey housewife with 5 kids, married to a Plastic Surgeon.” She also added, “Money and beauty means nothing without family!”

Last season, there were five housewives — Dolores Catania, Margaret Josephs, Melissa Gorga, Siggy Flicker and Teresa — with Danielle Staub in the cast as a friend. Siggy announced she was leaving at the end of season 8.

And all that posing and swaggering will stand Eva Marcille in good stead if she passes her audition to join The Real Housewives Of Atlanta.

The 33-year-old is busy shooting scenes with NeNe Leakes and her co-stars to see how she fits in with the existing cast, reports TMZ.

Whether or not she becomes a series regular depends on whether Eva can bring enough chemistry to the show.

That shouldn't be a problem for the 5ft7 star, who was nicknamed Eva The Diva when she triumphed on ANTM's third season back in 2004.

As part of her prize package the beauty landed a modelling contract with Ford and has fronted magazines including Essence.

Which 'Real Housewife' Is a Total Nightmare Behind the Scenes?

Thanks to cross-promotion within the NBCUniversal family, it is currently E!'s "Real Housewives Week." This means that E! is getting all kinds of inside scoops about the Bravo franchise, and today we hear from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Real Housewives of Orange County executive producer Doug Ross about which Housewife is the biggest pain in the Spanx. Would you be surprised to learn that it is ... all of them?

Ross reveals that when it comes time to shoot those magical opening credits, the Housewives all clamor to be No. 1 Most Important Gal.

"That is some of the biggest political maneuvering with the cast members that goes on all season long and they talk about it from the very beginning of the year, what their placement is going to be," he says. "And, of course, everybody thinks that they deserve to be in the center and explains to me that they must be in the center and if they're not in the center, they're not going to come back next year."

Perhaps for the safety of all involved, Ross says that they shoot the final frame individually, and then put all the women together in a composite. "We actually ask every cast member to hold either the orange or the diamond with their left hand out wide, out medium, out close, and then both hands in the center, and then their right hand out wide, out medium, and out close — so we have all the options," he says.

There is one woman who will not give producers options, however.

"I can't name names, but I can tell you that there is one cast member that we work with who absolutely, positively refuses to hold her thing anywhere but the center," Ross reveals. "And I'm the person who directs the opening title shoot and I had to trick that cast member into holding her thing in various positions so that we actually had the option to put her not in the center. [Laughs.] I'm sure you could imagine who it is, but I will never tell you."

So it's either Vicki Gunvalson from Orange County or Lisa Vanderpump from Beverly Hills. My money is on Vicki, because Lisa can't be tricked.

Kathryn Edwards Fired From 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' After One Season?

Another Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star is one-and-done! Kathryn Edwards, who joined the core cast of the hit Bravo series this past season, will not return for season 7, a source confirms to Us Weekly.

The source tells Us that producers have opted not to bring back Edwards, 51, who is married to retired NFL star Donnie Edwards. Kathryn, a friend of Lisa Rinna's prior to joining the show, made her debut in a January episode.
 
The former model is not the first Housewife to get the boot from the series after only one season under her belt. She joins a group that also includes Joyce Giraud and Carlton Gebbia, who both were let go after season 4.
 
A key season 6 story line for Kathryn involved an early skirmish with fellow cast newbie Erika Girardi after Edwards told Lisa Vanderpump about disparaging comments that the “Painkillr” singer made about her. Kathryn also sparred with Faye Resnick, who claimed in her 1994 book, Nicole Brown Simpson: The Private Diary of a Life Interrupted, that Kathryn's ex-husband, Marcus Allen, had an affair with the late Nicole Brown Simpson — and that Kathryn turned a "blind eye."

In her final season 6 Bravo blog, posted on May 3, Kathryn wrote that she enjoyed her stint on the series.

"I've had fun and have made some valued friendships," she wrote. She also praised the show's fans: "I've enjoyed meeting a lot of people who have approached me while I'm out and about, and I've taken so much from the people who have shared their stories that parallel my own."

Transgender Model Allegedly Added to "RHoA" Cast

Producers of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" have figured out a way to fill the shoes NeNe Leakes ... and it starts with the first transgender woman to appear on the show.

TMZ has learned ... Amiyah Scott will join the cast next season. Amiyah is a model who was born Arthur and began her transformation 10 years ago when she was 17.

Amiyah has been romantically linked to a number of rappers.

The show is also adding Kim Fields from "Facts of Life."

Lisa Rinna Signs On To ‘Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills’?

It’s official! After mulling over offers to join The View and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Radaronline.com has lean red that actress turned reality TV star Lisa Rinna has signed on the dotted line to become a Bravolebrity — and the drama with her fellow cast-mates is already beginning.

Rinna’s decision comes after she made a trial run in front of the cameras at Kyle Richards’ White Party in late June. And while she was clearly a hit with the Bravo producers, who decided to make the formal offer the finally accepted, Rinna didn’t exactly win over all the members of the cast. 

An insider previously told Radar, “Lisa is getting along with many of the ladies, with the exception of Brandi and Yolanda Foster. Brandi’s problem with Lisa is that she is happily married, and has two beautiful daughters. According to Brandi, Lisa has the perfect life, and she is very jealous of that.”

Last week, Glanville hit back on Twitter, insisting, “I’ve met Lisa Rinna several times & she was lovely & I would never be anything but happy for people with great families! #fact”

But fans weren’t buying her digital olive branch, with one writing, “Yeah that is what is called a back-handed compliment . . .”

And another, @GoldengirlLisa chimed in, “Brandi doesn’t get along with anyone . . . “

Indeed, as Radar reported, the White Party also saw Glanville butt heads with former castmate Adrienne Maloof, who will be returning to the show in a limited capacity this season. 

The ladies were spotted having an “out of control” verbal spat after “Adrienne attempted to have a civil conversation with Brandi,” a source said. “Brandi accused Adrienne of using her to get famous, and to get back on the show.”

Of course, it's always best to wait till we get an official statement from Bravo on these matters. Then too, I don't think letting Gretchen (tho it'll be nice to know that we'll never see Slade Smiley's mug again...on RHOC anyway) and Alexis go was a good idea:

Can these ladies handle the heat? Real Housewives of Orange County had a typically major shakeup following season 8, with longtime castmembers Alexis Bellino and Gretchen Rossi leaving the cast, alongside with first-season newbie Lydia McLaughlin. Filling their high-heeled shoes? Elizabeth Rovsek and Shannon Beador, Us Weekly can exclusively confirm. The twosome will join returning women Vicki Gunvalson (the Bravo smash's only original star), Tamra Barney and Heather Dubrow. Bravo has no comment on the casting news.

In her early thirties, Rovsek (who goes by "Lizzie") has a background tailor-made for the Housewives universe. The former model was crowned Miss Kentucky USA back in 2002, and wed OC real estate executive Christian Rovsek in September 2009. She parlayed her Fashion Design and Merchandising Degree into her own business: Sun Kitten Swimwear by Lizzie, which creates "high-end, special occasion designer swimsuits" featuring jewel embellishments, according to the company website. She and Christian share sons Preston and Kingston.

One enticing clue about her new reality gig? Rovsek recently tweeted at Joyce Giraud -- another former beauty queen and one of the newcomers on the current season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. "You are so beautiful! Inside & out!!" Rovsek gushed Dec. 10.

Shannon Beador -- whose casting has been rumored by fan blogs for weeks -- also seems to fit the Housewives mold. Reportedly 49, the California native and construction mogul husband David Beador have three kids, and live in a massive home in Newport Beach's Bonita Canyon neighborhood. In a recently posted Twitter photo, Beador posed with Tamra Barney.

Although season nine has not officially been announced, RHOC is expected to return next year.

Kenya Moore Blasts “Fake” Stories Saying She’s Joined The Real Housewives of Atlanta

Many have speculated that former Miss USA Kenya Moore will be joining the cast of The Real Housewives of Atlanta for Season 5, but Kenya recently warned her Twitter followers not to be so easily persuaded by rumors, hinting that she wasn’t actually joining the show. Say what?!

When a follower tweeted Kenya about a photo of her taken with several existing RHoA cast members, Kenya replied, “@True_Brownii some people are so thirsty they send fake stories to bloggers#nothingsurprisesme.”

Does this mean Kenya won’t be a housewife? Only time will tell!
