Heather Thomson Is STILL Involved In Lawsuit Over Yummie Company

Heather Thomson—who recently quit Real Housewives of New York to focus on her fashion brand, Yummie by Heather Thomson—is embroiled in a months-long lawsuit with Yummie’s manager, whom her lawyer says has “irreparably damaged” the company.

Law 360 reports that Thomson filed suit to remove Eric Rothfeld, who owns a 49 percent stake, as the company’s manager. The company was founded through a $1 million loan from Rothfeld’s REI Capital, which Thomson’s legal team claims has been repaid; according to the complaint, the terms of the financing deal would allow Rothfeld to be replaced once repayment took place. But Rothman refused to step down, so Thomson filed suit.

Women’s Wear Daily reports that Thomson’s legal claims include “Rothfeld being unqualified to be manager, his fraudulently marking down inventory, blocking factory orders and failing to submit financial statements to Wells Fargo.” Entertainment Tonight reported in October that Rothfeld refused to allow RHONY cameras in the Yummie building, and sent the following email to employees:

“Effective immediately, under no circumstances are you to spend any time discussing or working with Heather on Rhony [sic],” Rothfeld wrote. “No samples should be provided to Heather for Rhony and Rhony is not authorized to film in our offices. Also, there is to be no Company money to be spent for Rhony.”
Thomson has always been open about the fact that she joined the Real Housewives to generate publicity for her brand; initial reports had Rothfeld’s anti-RHONY stance as the catalyst for the lawsuit.

According to the Law 360 report, Thomson’s claims against Rothfeld also include the creation of a “toxic work environment,” and that he “has made decisions which are harmful to the company based upon his personal animus toward Thomson and her husband.”

Heather Thomson Talks Why Said Yes To Joining 'The Real Housewives Of New York City'

Before Heather Thomson launched her own brand, Yummie by Heather Thomson, she served as the founding design director for the Sean “Diddy” Combs fashion line, and also assisted Beyoncé and Jennifer Lopez in creating and launching their individual labels.

She joined the cast of The Real Housewives of New York City in 2012. I spoke with Thomson to discuss her trajectory from the boardroom to reality TV.

How did you wind up on ‘The Real Housewives of New York City?’

I was sitting at my desk and I got a cold call from a casting director from Bravo who said they were thinking of replacing the entire cast or at least half the cast. I didn’t know any of the women at that time, and when she called me I actually thought she wanted to put Yummie on the show. I was thinking of The Apprentice and product placement.

Then we talked a little more and I was like, “Oh, you’re talking about me?”

And she was like, “Yeah, we’re talking about you. We want you to come onto the show as a Housewife.”

And I went, “Oh hell no.” I started to laugh; I was like, “Me? I’m a real businesswoman in New York City. I’m a squirrel trying to get a nut.”

Then the casting director was like, “That’s why we want you.”

She said they wanted to start showcasing real businesswomen and not kind of like this pseudo-socialite, if you will. She told me they wanted to start showing real New Yorkers. And once she said that a light bulb went off.

And I asked her, “What do you mean, ‘real New Yorkers?’” and she was like, “We want to try to raise the bar.”

So, at that point she had me. I was like, “Well I can raise the bar, and I can make that contribution.”

I was thinking, “I’m an entrepreneur, I’ve got a barely three-year-old business, and I’m in the middle of a lawsuit with Maidenform, who knocked off my intellectual property and now I have to enforce my patent. I’ve got trouble looking at my profit and loss statement sheet and I’m worried if I’m going to make payroll and be able to pay the lawyers.”

Heather Thomson Says Company Co-Manager Cost Her Business 'RHONY' Camera Time & Money

'Real Housewives of NY' star Heather Thomson is desperate to give her company's manager the boot after she says he squashed any chances of featuring the brand on 'RHONY.'

Thomson is suing Eric Rothfeld, who manages and owns part of Yummie by Heather Thomson, because she says he refused to allow the show's cameras in their building. In the suit, Heather says Eric's decision hurts their bottom line ... since being on the show would be a great promotional opportunity for Yummie.

She says Eric's killed other media opportunities as well, but since he's part owner of the company ... Heather can't just fire him. She's trying to put a new manager in Rothfeld's position, but he's fighting that.

Heather wants a judge to validate the steps she's already taken to 86 Rothfeld as manager.

Heather Thomson Officially Leaves Real Housewives of New York City

New York City is officially down one housewife.

Heather Thomson will not be returning for the next season of The Real Housewives of New York City, the reality star confirmed to ET.

"The reality of it [is] that I just can't do it anymore," she told ET. "I have to focus on the things that are really, really important in my life, and that's my family and my business. While I'm filming the show, I also am running a multimillion dollar business, and it takes away a lot of my time from the company."

Thomson joined the show three years ago, and feuded with LuAnn de Lesseps after waking up to find a naked man brought home during their trip to Turks and Caicos.

"My third year I kind of figured out where I was with the women," she said. "There was a beginning, middle and end for everything, and for me, that was the end. The opportunity, the experience – it was all amazing while it lasted. But, again … the third time was the charm for me."

Outside of her time on the show, Thomson is known as a businesswoman and the creator of Yummie by Heather Thomson, a brand of wardrobe essentials.

The show kept her away from her family and business?!? Yeah, ok Heather.

LuAnn de Lesseps and Heather Thomson Learn the True Meaning of 'Girl Code'

Well, that's a first.
Andy Cohen has hosted hundreds of hours worth of Real Housewives reunions. He's seen tears, cat fights, walkouts and plenty of wine-chugging. But on Thursday night, Bravo's finest managed to lull a Real Housewives of New York City star to sleep.

Amid a bittersweet conversation about widows Carole Radziwell and Dorinda Medley bonding over their dead husbands, Ramona Singer gently nodded off.

"Do you want me to wake you when something happens regarding you?" Cohen asked, laughing.

Then, the cast went back to business, bickering over their doomed trip to Turks and Caicos, otherwise known as the sixth circle of hell.

Kristen Taekman, Heather Thomson and Radziwell were still being all, like, uncool about Singer and LuAnn de Lesseps letting a naked man into their vacation home, which led the ladies to debate the most pressing existential question of our time: What's the girl code?

"Ramona, it is completely inappropriate and sloppy of you to send a complete stranger that you met two hours ago upstairs," Taekman chastised. "That's gross and disgusting, and that, my friend, is breaking girl code."

Singer and de Lesseps explained that they got drunk at a karaoke bar and brought two guys home. Yes, de Lessep's was married/"getting divorced", but no, she insisted, they did not hook up – they just went for a platonic stroll on the sand!

"You didn't walk on the beach and play Parcheesi," Bethenny Frankel cracked.

Thomson's problem was that the "safety and security" of the sleeping Housewives was put at risk. ("It's a lot, Scarlett O'Hara," Frankel said, rolling her eyes.)

There was a lot of talk of de Lesseps' dalliance with the French Johnny Depp pirate man in St. Barths a few seasons ago, Singer admitted she should have just called a cab for her inebriated overnight guest, and Frankel declared the squabble "the most ridiculous argument in Housewife history."

Kristen Taekman's Husband Josh is an Ashley Madison User

The names continue to trickle out after the recent Ashley Madison hack.

The same hackers who threated to expose the identities of more than 37 million cheaters last month appeared to have followed through with their promise shortly after their security breach, and the latest name to surface is the husband of Real Housewives of New York star Kristen Taekman.

E! News has learned that Josh Taekman had an account with the website, which is used for individuals looking to have an affair, and a source tells E! News that this new information could be the breaking point for this reality couple.

"Kristen is embarrassed by this entire situation," the insider tells us. "They have had their problems in the past but worked hard on them. This could be the final straw and the end of their marriage."

The couple, who are currently in Los Angeles as part of their EBOOST tour, have displayed some problems within their marriage on the small screen in the past.

During Taekman's debut on the reality show, fans quickly saw that there was tension between the duo from arguments that played out in front of cameras. Those interactions drew a number of negative reactions from viewers on social media, which became part of the reason they decided to not show Josh on-camera for the Bravo series anymore.

Listen, Kristen Taekman annoys the crap out of me with all her whining and that gross look she gets on her face when she's...surprised. Plus, she's a friend of Brandi's which makes me can't stand her even more. But damn, finding out your husband joined a notorious website for people looking to cheat...well, that just sicks.

LuAnn De Lesseps Denies Sleeping With A Married Man

Did LuAnn de Lesseps actually sleep with a married man while vacationing in Turks and Caicos with the rest of the Real Housewives of New York City cast? In her latest BravoTV.com blog post recapping Tuesday night’s episode, which was posted on Thursday, LuAnn said that she didn’t like how Heather Thomson and Carole Radziwill just barged in, without warning, into her private space to question her. As for the man that she was with, LuAnn maintained that he didn’t break his marriage vows, pretty much implying that they did not have sexual relations.

“Heather and Carole then barged into my room, yelling about our overnight houseguest. They may have knocked, but I can assure you, they didn’t wait for an answer before running into my room. I could have been swinging from a chandelier with a guy on my back for all they knew! Instead, they found just me, tired from a really fun night, but it could have ended up differently. I was angry that they didn’t respect my privacy. I’m single, and I can do what I like with whom I like, and it’s none of their business…We were on vacation, and I’m not married or in a serious relationship. As for the man I was flirting with being married, I can assure you his marriage vows are still intact!”
Tuesday night’s episode revealed that LuAnn, Ramona Singer, and Sonja Morgan went out partying one night. LuAnn and Ramona ended up bringing two men back to the vacation rental. While LuAnn showed her man out after their night of fun, Ramona just went to bed and let her man sleep naked in another room, one that was across from and connected via a bathroom to Heather and Carole’s room. When Heather and Carole discovered the naked man the next morning, they angrily confronted Ramona, who hid under her blanket and told them to talk to LuAnn.

t was during Heather Thomson and Carole Radziwill’s argument with LuAnn de Lesseps that Kristen Takeman said that the house manager blabbed that the man that LuAnn brought home was married. LuAnn got flustered but then laughed when Sonja said that “s**t happens.” She was not shown saying that nothing sexual happened between them.

In her BravoTV.com blog post, posted on Wednesday, Heather wrote that it was ridiculous for LuAnn to get mad at her and Carole when it was she who did wrong. Heather also pointed out that for LuAnn to have a song called “Girl Code,” when she involved herself with a married man, is hypocrisy.

“Bottom line, Carole and I were violated, not Luann, but she’s so distraught about two of her friends waking her at 9:30 AM she wrote a song about it?! LOL! Yes! And the irony of the title, ‘Girl Code,’ is just too much, being she knew that her play date for the night was married. But I’m sure working out the words and the melody we’re very therapeutic for her, and I’m hopeful she’s been able to move on from her trauma. Carole says she going to write a song too and call it, ‘Ya Dumb Hypocrite’!”
According to Heather, she and LuAnn actually made up after Turks and Caicos. Obviously, however, things are not well between them now. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Heather said in a media interview in late June that she and LuAnn are no longer friends due to LuAnn keeping up the drama with her for a storyline, despite the fact that they made up, both on and off camera, multiple times.

While Carole Radziwill has yet to blog on the latest The Real Housewives of New York City episode, she has made her feelings clear on what went down with LuAnn de Lesseps in Turks and Caicos via social media. As Heather Thomson wrote in her blog, Carole also believes that LuAnn is a hypocrite. On Wednesday, Carole tweeted that LuAnn de Lesseps is a hypocrite for being with a married man when she previously judged Carole so harshly for dating her niece’s ex-boyfriend.

Report Says Heather Thomson Is Leaving Real Housewives of New York City After 3 Seasons

Holla! She's out. Heather Thomson is leaving The Real Housewives of New York City after three seasons on the hit show, Us Weekly has exclusively learned.

A source close to the Bravo soap confirms the news in the latest issue of Us, revealing that the budding businesswoman wants to spend more time working on her business and spending time with her family.

"She wants to focus full-time on her business, Yummie, her family, and expanding into the health and nutrition arena," the source reveals.

Thomson's role on the show has changed since she signed on three years ago, and she doesn't want to be involved anymore. "The cons of doing the show far outweigh the pros at this point, and what the show has become don’t fit what she wants to be doing," the insider adds. "She did it to promote her business and it devolved into ridiculous fights over the ridiculous antics of some unstable women."

This season, the shapewear purveyor's story lines have revolved around her fighting with costars Bethenny Frankel and Dorinda Medley, and Thomson has decided it's time to step away from the drama.

"She did the show to promote her business and later to be with her best friend, Carole Radziwill, and didn’t expect it to end up with fighting with Bethenny and Sonja [Morgan] and the rest edited out," the source dishes. "It is no longer a good fit with where she sees her life going so she is making the choice to walk away."

LuAnn de Lesseps Rips ‘Harsh’ Heather Thomson & Bethenny Frankel For 'Judging' Sonja Morgan

Don’t cross the Countess — or any of her friends! After weeks of episodes of The Real Housewives of New York City showing Heather Thomson talking smack about Sonja Morgan, Morgan’s BFF LuAnn DeLesseps took to her Bravo blog to weigh in and defend her.

“Heather, like Bethenny [Frankel], can come off as too opinionated and harsh at times,” de Lesseps says. “She had no right to judge Sonja.”

De Lesseps then turned to costar Carole Radziwill, who she says put Ramona Singer “in the hot seat” for spending a night flirting with a local bar owner during the cast’s Turks & Caicos trip. Singer reacted by attacking Radziwill’s own relationship, and De Lesseps says she was justified.

“When Ramona’s cornered, she strikes outward rather than looking inward, and her calling out Carole for being so judgmental while Carole’s sleeping with a 20-something wasn’t surprising,” de Lesseps says.

In the end, De Lesseps says that the group got retribution for Singer’s attack.

“Ramona did apologize fairly quickly to keep the peace,” she explains, “but we made her suffer by freezing her out that entire day.”

LuAnn de Lesseps Debuts New Single "Girl Code", Gets Called a 'Dumb Hypocrite' by Carole Radziwill

The gloves are off in the battle between “Real Housewives” Carole Radziwill and LuAnn de Lesseps.

After LuAnn created a new summer song called “Girl Code (Don’t Be So Uncool),” Carole told Page Six she’s recording a tune, “Ya Dumb Hypocrite.” Ouch!

Lesseps is about to release her “Girl Code” tune — but other “Housewives of New York” are sniping that she’s the one who broke all sorts of codes on their recent trip to Turks and Caicos.

Before the vacation from hell — which sources said will take up the final four episodes of the Bravo series — even began, LuAnn took exception to Carole’s dating 30-year-old Adam Kenworthy, LuAnn’s chef and an ex of her niece.

But sources tell us that during the Turks and Caicos trip, “LuAnn hypocritically slept with the 21-year-old son” of an island staffer, and the two “went skinny-dipping in the ocean.”

The source also alleged, “She also hooked up with another guy named David.”

But a friend of de Lesseps’ insisted: “David was part of a group that LuAnn and Ramona [Singer] brought back to the house for drinks. It’s not true about the [21-year-old] at all.”

LuAnn’s song — with the chorus, “Don’t be so uncool/you broke the girl code/cause all that glitters ain’t gold/I gotta let you go” — was inspired by the Turks and Caicos blowup.

When we contacted Radziwill for comment about any beef with LuAnn, she quipped that she’s recording “Ya Dumb Hypocrite.”

Bethenny Frankel Quashes One Feud...and Starts Another?

The most recent episode of The Real Housewives of New York City—titled "Pop of Crazy"—had everything: arguments, rumors, tears and beef quashing. All the hallmark reality TV tropes were there and checked off, many thanks to Bethenny "I don't want attention" Frankel.

The episode, a continuation from last week's "Birthday in the Berks," picked up with Heather Thomson and Bethenny hugging it out after an intense back and forth about meatballs, fish allergies and Heather being on Bethenny's "jock."

"I just wanted to end the dynamic with Heather. Although I am a reality star, I don't always want the spotlight on me. I love doing reality TV, because I love the connection with the audience, the running commentary, the interaction with the women, and ultimately, the humor of it all. This doesn't mean that when I'm going through some personal s--t that I want people up in my grill. It takes me a minute to get warm. Dorinda [Medley] hit the nail on the head. I am like a squirrel and too quick and too fast makes me skittish and run. I own my stuff," she wrote on her Bravo blog. "I just wanted to hug and make up and keep it moving. I am high strung and uptight. I know. Add that to some personal stresses that are indescribable that I cannot discuss, and you have a situation."

The hugging didn't stop there! Heather and Bethenny embraced again in hopes of further derailing any potential feud at Ramona Singer's holiday party at her bar/restaurant AOA. "I approached Heather, because I really didn't want this to become some insane Housewife rivalry that it isn't. She came on strong. I backed up. That is it. Different strokes for different folks. She is not my frenemy. Life is too short."

Luann de Lesseps and Bethenny had some words, but moved on. Then Kristen Taekman got her turn. Kristen was complaining that she felt boxed out of friendships/conversations…and it's kind of true. She's still the new girl, despite the additions of Bethenny and Dorinda. Both Bethenny and Dorinda have ties to the other women. Well, Carole Radziwill lit the angry flame more when she told Kristen that Bethenny was concerned about Kristen's nailpolish trademark and she reportedly called Kristen dumb.

"I never said Kristen didn't register the trademark. I never said Kristen was dumb. I had no idea about either of these things. I simply questioned Kristen choosing a name that is remarkably similar to another much larger brand," Bethenny wrote. "This moment was nonsense. You will take this ride with me and see."

"I felt that I should just confront Bethenny myself. Seriously, what's the deal here? You barely speak to me to my face, but yet you have plenty to say behind my back? I really just don't get it at all," she wrote. "And once I do approach her, she just dismisses me rudely and walks away! I have made the conscious decision that I don't need any more friends!"

Andy Cohen: Bethenny Frankel Has 'No Say' in Editing RHONY

Bethenny Frankel may have returned to spice up The Real Housewives of New York City this season, but that doesn't mean she gets a say in how she's portrayed.

Although some of Frankel's cast mates have stated that she gets editorial approval over her scenes before episodes air, Andy Cohen said Sunday that she has "no warning" over the content, even when she acts "like a beast."

"She gets the episode when everyone else does," Cohen told Page Six. "We send the Housewives the episodes the week before. She has absolutely no say."

Continued Cohen, who said the show plays no favorites: "I've said to [Bethenny] this season, 'Oh, you're not going to like X, Y or Z. You look like a beast!' But she has nothing to do with editing, she has no knowledge of what's going to be in the episodes, she has no warning."

It has been an emotional and dramatic season thus far for Frankel, 44, who has lamented being homeless, had a dramatic reunion with her stepfather, cracked discussing her abusive childhood and battled with cast mates.

"Trust me, there are times, not from [Bethenny] but from certain Housewives saying, 'Please can you change this?' " stated Cohen, 47. "And they know we never change the episodes. They are as they are."

Heather Thomson and Bethenny Frankel Have Teary Real Housewives of New York City Dinner Battle

There's something about the Berkshires that seems to bring out the aggressiveness in the women of The Real Housewives of New York City. Shouldn't the serene landscape and cool breeze do the opposite? This time it was Bethenny Frankel and Heather Thomson. Carole Radziwill may have been referring to others, but she said it best at the start of this season of Real Housewives of New York City: It's the battle of the alpha dogs.

Happy Birthday, Dorinda Medley! Here's a bunch of a women yelling at each other.

While at Dorinda's "Knots Landing" dinner, Bethenny revealed she's allergic to certain kinds of fish, which made the sushi dinner a little difficult for her. But she didn't want to create a fuss, she'd find something to eat, after all she wasn't even supposed to be there, she showed up as a surprise. However, Heather kind of went into mommy mode and tried to handle Bethenny's dinner herself. This upset both the ladies.

"I can tell you what I want to f—king tell you," Heather said. "Honestly, I can. Don't tell me how to talk, don't tell me what to do."

Heather tried to explain her intentions, but Bethenny shot her down. "I'm not interested in this," she said. "OK, just like, get off me."

When the other ladies got involved, Bethenny resisted more. "I don't want attention, I just want to breathe. I just want to let it be light…If I get into it, I will be lying on this floor, sobbing. I don't want to get into anything," Bethenny said with tears in her eyes. "I just want the wall up…I just don't want to deal with anything."

Heather tried to take Bethenny out of the room to quash the drama, but Bethenny refused.

"Well, I just wanted to chill and laugh, and I felt that Heather was on my jock again," Bethenny wrote in her blog. "We definitely have different styles when getting to know each other." Last episode, Heather started asking Bethenny about her custody arrangements.

Heather Thomson Slams Bethenny Frankel In New Video: ‘She’s Just F***ing Mean!’

It’s no secret that Heather Thomson is no fan of Bethenny Frankel. But in a preview for the upcoming episode of Real Housewives of New York City, Thomson lets her hatred for her fellow housewife run wild, and RadarOnline.com has the video clip!

It all begins as the group of women sit down for a private dinner hosted by Dorinda Medley and her boyfriend, John Mahdessian.

Mahdessian announces that the group will be treated to gourmet sushi.

But picky Frankel has some immediate demands.

“I only eat shellfish,” she says. “I know what I can eat.”

This gets Thomson talking.

“She’s allergic to fish with fins,” Thomson jokes to Countess LuAnn de Lesseps.

Medley and Thomson then try to ask Frankel if she wants any other food, but Frankel gets fussy and wants people to stop worrying about her.

“I don’t want a whole thing about it,” a flustered Frankel says as she waves her hand in the air.
But Thomson takes it upon herself to solve the situation.

“I would [find her something to eat], but she won’t let me, so she can sit there and eat nothing,” Thomson says, sounding stressed out.

She then turns to Carole Radziwill to continue airing her frustrations.

“Bethenny is allergic to fish,” Thomson whispers. “I’m just trying to help. Like, so on one hand I’m like feeling bad for her and on the other hand, she’s just f***ing mean. She really is, like, harsh!”

Thomson has one final cut for Frankel.

“I’ve never dealt with someone who is turned off by someone trying to be nice,” she tells the cameras. “I couldn’t even give her a f***ing meatball!”

Bethenny Frankel‘s new man has been revealed!

Just weeks after kicking flame Michael Cerussi to the curb and enjoying a brief stint with Florida businessman Michael Toppel, the Skinnygirl mogul has officially picked up Peter Chalif, 41, a financial advisor for Citigroup Global Markets.

While she’s yet to officially divorce her estranged ex, Jason Hoppy, Frankel been spending time with Chalif in New York – even holding hands around the city!

With this new man on her arm, Frankel’s days of being a sugar mama could officially be over. According to reports, the executive owns a $3.7 million mansion in New Jersey that was supposedly owned by Thomas Edison‘s son at one time.

This pairing could just be a match made in heaven; not only is Chalif an East Coaster, but he is also founding member of nonprofit organization Little Kids Rock – can you say jackpot?

One insider commented on the relationship: “On the surface, Peter seems to be the perfect guy Bethenny’s always wanted. He’s rich and good looking and appears to have a good heart.”
