Dorinda Medley will join the seventh season of Bravo's hit reality series, which premieres April 7, reports the New York Post.
"I think you learn when you argue," Medley, 50, told the paper. "It's just an expression of your opinion."
In that case, the socialite will be well-placed among the ranks, which include a newly reinstated Bethenny Frankel.
Medley married Richard Medley, a hedge fund advisor, in 2005. He was her second husband; she has a child, Hannah, 21, from a previous marriage.
Following Richard's death in 2011 at just 60 years old, the socialite is ready for this next chapter. "I've been presented with a lot of different challenges, and that's why I wasn't afraid to be on the Housewives," she told the Post. "The whole point is to keep going forward and try again."
Having made cameos on the show in the past, Medley came on the radar thanks to friends Ramona Singer and LuAnn de Lesseps.
