“The Real Housewives of Orange County” star Vicki Gunvalson has been hospitalized for internal bleeding -- just over a week after filing for divorce from her husband of 16 years, TMZ reported Thursday.
Gunvalson, 47, is in a hospital for observation of upper gastrointestinal problems, according to the entertainment website.
The development comes after the reality TV star filed for dissolution of marriage from her husband, Donn Gunvalson, in Orange County Superior Court last Monday.
It was Vicki Gunvalson’s second marriage. She has a son, Michael, and a daughter, Brianna, from a previous marriage.
The couple’s marital problems had been on display throughout “The Real Housewives,” a reality series which follows the lavish lifestyles of socialite housewives in the gated community of Coto de Caza, Calif.
In one episode, she was seen telling Donn Gunvalson, “My love tank is empty,” and on a cast reunion show last season, she said, “I just don’t feel real happy right now.”
Despite their issues, Vicki and Donn Gunvalson renewed their wedding vows on camera in 2009.
Hope nothing is seriously wrong and Vicki gets well. I really liked Donn. She didn't realize what she had.
ReplyDeleteVicki, re think the divorce. I was a driven career woman like you who married a low key guy content to be in the background. He never made the money I did, but he enriches our marriage in so many ways, gets me to stay calm, remember there is more to life than work. It will be very difficult to find one like him who can put up with a dominant personality and still be himself. As you get older, you will find how important this is. It will be easy for him to find another partner, but you will find it very difficult. Find a better counselor and work this thru!
