God, this is stupid. Dumber is anyone who takes these two seriously:

The Real Housewives of D.C. star Michaele Salahi isn't missing after all.
On Wednesday, her husband, Tareq, asked the public to help find his wife, telling TMZ that "may have been kidnapped or abducted and being held under duress and forced to tell persons, including authorities, she is OK."
He said the last time he saw her at home was around 11 a.m. Tuesday; she told him she was going to see her hairstylist, but didn't make the appointment, and he hadn't seen her since.
But it seems that Michaele is safe and sound and simply doesn't want her husband to know her whereabouts. On Wednesday, Virginia's Warren County Sheriff's Office issued a statement saying that officials had spoken to her and that she was "fine," ABCNews.com reported.
Authorities say that they spoke to Tareq around midnight Tuesday, about six hours after his wife called him from an Oregon area code but failed to make further contact.
"Deputy Mike Glavis subsequently spoke with Mrs. Salahi by telephone a few moments later," the sheriff's office said. "Deputy Glavis was able to identify Mrs. Salahi by having previous conversations with her in the past. She seemed calm, was engaged in conversation and assured the deputy that she had left the residence with a good friend and was where she wanted to be. Mrs. Salahi advised that she did not want Mr. Salahi to know where she was. Mrs. Salahi advised Deputy Glavis that she was very sorry that the Sheriff's Office had to be involved, but she did not want to be home right now."
