USmagazine.com:
You can take the ladies out of Real Housewives of New York, but you can't take the Real Housewives out of the ladies!Honestly I don't think Jill had anything to do with Alex's firing, esp. since she got fired too. But hey I can understand them both being upset at being let go, gotta hurt even more that Ramona and LuAnn got to stay.
After getting fired from the hit Bravo show, Alex McCord is ready to place some blame: On Jill Zarin, also evicted from the cast.
McCord, 37, told Good Morning America Friday that Zarin, 48, "has been trying to get me off the show for a number of years. She succeeded...She's a manipulator and she's very good at feeding information to her own end."
McCord's husband Simon van Kempen added that Zarin was a "flawed woman extraordinaire...Jill sometimes is still very much stuck in junior high as the girl who was unpopular, who was bullied. And 30 years later, she's still there."
In response, a rep for Zarin tells Us Weekly: "Alex and Simon's allegations represent the type of negativity that Jill is eager to move on from. Jill will continue to take the high road and wish Alex and Simon nothing but the best."
I think Jill was partly at fault for all of the ladies firings. She was very manipulative and divisive, she tried to be the Head Mean Girl. But she caused such bitterness, she pulled down a few of the ladies with her. But, if Alex could have stepped back from fighting with Jill a bit, if Kelly would have been more of her own woman and more interesting, and if Cindy would have worked harder to befriend Luann and Cindy and maintain her friendship with Ramona, things could have worked out differently.
ReplyDeleteI won't miss Jill, Cindy, or Kelly, but I will miss Alex; she was the only one with a sensible head on her shoulders. I wish they'd sack the Cuntess, a bitch of the highest klass,
ReplyDeleteAlex is a stupid bi***!
ReplyDeleteIt was a pleasure watching Alex and Simon grow more relaxed and comfortable with themselves over the years, and to witness Alex find her voice and stand up for herself. Alex McCord and Simon were eccentric, but they were genuinely nice people, and that is why despite any differences, Bethenny, Ramon and Sonjia liked them and included the van Kempens in their lives.
ReplyDeleteI’m extremely disappointed in Bravo rewarding Alex’s courage and good nature by firing her off the show and keeping the dreadful LuAnn whatever-her-last-name-is on the show. It is in very bad taste…”darling.”
And regarding Jill Zarin, she has hardly taken the high road since her firing and has been reported to have said negative things about Alex as well, which, for whatever reason, were not covered here. Jill and LuAnne were intent on getting Bethanny, Alex and Ramona fired or forced off the show, and they almost succeeded with all three. Good for Alex for setting the record straight.
PLEASE!!!
ReplyDeleteALEX WAS FIRED BECAUSE SHE WAS BORING AS HELL! She was alway broke! She never hosted a party outside her house in Brooklyn! So of course she had to be fired. And don't forget about shameless Simon who always tried to be the 6th housewife. They won't be missed at all.
I can't believe Alex is a "model", that fugly bitch looks like she fell off the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down!
ReplyDeleteAfter watching the reunion. Good move. Can't stand any bit of this bitter woman. Only thing is still have to suffer through Luann
