Real Housewives of Atlanta star Sheree Whitfield was in New York City last week, but it wasn't for her reality star gig. The socialite is adding "author" to her resume, as she had meetings with book publishers for a secret new book!
"Sheree's proposal for her forthcoming novel was seen by multiple publishers and it was so great it incited a bidding war," said a source, "Sheree stars on the highest rated Housewives show and that will certainly ensure huge sales."
Although her book may be secret, her meetings about the deal have not been. A source said, "She was seen having a business dinner at the exclusive Polo Restaurant." The source continued, "The table was filled with business people and it looked like there were serious negotiations going on."
Sheree had fetched close to a million dollar advance, but her rep remained tight-lipped about her lucrative book deal. "Sheree is very happy, however I can't comment on anything further at this time," her rep said.
"Sheree chose to return to the The Real Housewives of Atlanta mostly because she emerged as the fan favorite and is loving it," her rep went on.
A friend of the reality star said, "She is the voice of reason on the show. I am so happy she's made the decision to go back."
It's pretty safe to say that Sheree was a huge draw this season and her lucrative book deal has proven a sure foot in for being cast for the next season of RHOA.
