Even though many marriages have crumbled in front of Bravo cameras, “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Dorit Kemsley says her and her husband are going strong.
“I can only speak from my own personal experience and I can say that the show is never going to be the catalyst to breaking up a marriage,” she told Page Six. “If a marriage is strong enough and [a couple is] supposed to be together then you’ll live through everything.”
“I don’t think there’s any danger of PK and I separating because of the show,” she added while chatting about her husband, Paul Kemsley, at a party celebrating her Bella Magazine cover at Manhattan’s Attic Rooftop on Wednesday.
However, some couples who have been brought into the Bravo spotlight can’t say the same. Most recently, steady cheating rumors led to “Real Housewives of New York” star Luann de Lesseps’ divorce after only seven months of being hitched.
During Dorit’s first season on the show, the couple, who married in 2015, found themselves in the middle of the show’s main story line, when PK was accused of glaring up the skirt of Erika Girardi, sparking what became known as “pantygate.”
Kemsley noted that this time around, he’ll be on better behavior.
