The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is welcoming a new Housewife into the mix when it returns for season 7!'RELATED: Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Dorit Kemsley: 5 Things to Know About the New Star
PEOPLE can exclusively reveal that Dorit Kemsley will join fellow Housewives Erika Girardi, Lisa Vanderpump, Kyle Richards, Lisa Rinna and Eileen Davidson for the latest season of the Bravo franchise.
Kemsley, 40, started her own business in the fashion industry (Dorit) in the state of New York, where she met her husband Paul “PK” Kemsley at a restaurant. In 2015, the couple switched coasts and moved with their two children — son Jagger and daughter Phoenix — to Beverly Hills. In the upcoming season, viewers will see inside the fashionista’s 10,000-sq.-ft. mansion that is filled with working staff, her husband and kids and PK’s live-in client and ’80s pop icon, Boy George.
Audiences will also learn that the full-time working mom, who is close friends with Vanderpump, is fluent in four languages and also works alongside her husband in overseeing their management agency, Nixxi Entertainment.
“I’m excited to share my life, share my beautiful babies and share the privileged lifestyle I’m fortunate to have, and never take for granted. I also hope the fans will see that I have always been super open and honest, which is the only way I know how to be,” Kemsley exclusively told PEOPLE.
In addition to Kemsley, RHOBH fans will get to know the newest friend of the franchise, Eden Sassoon. The daughter of legendary beauty icon Vidal Sassoon, Eden is the owner of both a full service salon — EDEN by Eden Sassoon — and two luxury Pilates studios in L.A. The 43-year-old divorced mother of two has been sober for four years, lives her life in a continual ongoing cleanse and believes in kissing — a lot!
In the upcoming seventh season, viewers will watch Vanderpump navigate her way through challenging friendships, Girardi travel to Greece with her alter ego Erika Jayne, Richards take on the role of TV producer and Davidson deal with the loss of her mother. But what would a new season be without a little drama thrown in and a trip abroad (can you say Mexico and Hong Kong!)?
And she may be new, but that won’t keep Kemsley from feuding with Girardi and Rinna. “For me the season was super dramatic a lot of situations transpired that I have never found myself in before. I believe I stood my ground and whilst I don’t thrive on drama, I also won’t shy away from it,” Kemsley tells PEOPLE. “I will always stand up for myself and my family. I’ll try wherever possible to take the kind route and have a good sense of humor but I’m not the type to sit there and be attacked without responding.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills returns for season 7 on Dec. 6 at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
