Lisa Vanderpump almost quit her full-time role on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" ahead of the series' 7th season. Although the restauranteur has been featured on the Bravo TV reality series since its start in 2010, she recently admitted to feeling beat up after the show's 6th season.
In an interview for the December issue of Foxtel magazine, Vanderpump said she almost didn't sign on for season 7 due to the mean-spirited behavior of a couple of her co-stars, who she failed to name. In a statement to the magazine, Vanderpump said she wasn't sure if she wanted to come back to the show for its 7th season and had several discussions with production before she returned.
"A couple of the other women just didn't stop," Vanderpump told the magazine, adding that her co-stars were "relentless." Continuing on, Lisa Vanderpump said season six simply wasn't a good season and she didn't want to return to the place where she was with the other ladies.RELATED: Vanderpump Rules: [Spoiler] Is Finally Fired From the Restaurant—Relive Their Most Obnoxious Moments
Following her "Real Housewives" success, Vanderpump went on to appear in her own spinoff series, "Vanderpump Rules," which was based out of her West Hollywood, California restaurant, SUR Restaurant. She also appeared during the 2013 season of "Dancing With The Stars."
In addition to the returning housewives, including Kyle Richards, Erika Girardi, Lisa Rinna and Eileen Davidson, Vanderpump will be seen alongside new housewife Dorit Kemsley and friend Eden Sassoon in "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" season 7. While it is not yet known which housewives will be seen on the side of Vanderpump, she is said to have a relationship with Kemsley, which is likely a good sign. After all, she surely wouldn't want to be beaten down for the second season in a row.
