Metro.co.uk:
Dawn Ward, star of Real Housewives of Cheshire, has been convicted of assaulting singer Sinitta.
The 43-year-old was found guilty of one count of common assault and bound over £500 for a three-month period following a two-day hearing in London.
Ward was also ordered by the judge to show good behaviour and remain out of trouble during the three months.
The court case revolved around a lunch meeting the pair had at the Belgravia restaurant in April 2015, where they attempted to clear the air following gossip about a friend’s affair.RELATED: Real Housewives of Cheshire star Dawn Ward and daughters launch national Breast Cancer Care campaign at Asda Altrincham
During the meeting, Westminster Magistrates’ Court heard Ward shoved and threw a napkin at a ‘shocked’ and ‘humiliated’ Sinitta.
Reacting to the ruling, Ward told ITV News: ‘I am disappointed the court has found a prod to Sinitta’s shoulder to amount to the lowest form of common assault.
