Phaedra Parks may be a self-acclaimed top-notch attorney in Atlanta, but once in a while she has to turn down a potential client. In this case, it's her very own hubby, Apollo Nida! The Real Housewives of Atlanta star stopped by the Bravo Clubhouse after Part 1 of the Season 6 Reunion aired to chat with Andy Cohen, and she made it pretty clear that she had no interest in representing Apollo during his current legal drama.RELATED: Apollo Nida’s co-conspirator sentenced five-plus years for bank fraud, ID theft
For those who missed it, Apollo has been charged for his alleged involvement in a scam that brought in close to 3 million bucks. Unless he takes a plea deal, he is due back in court at the end of this week — April 25 — for his trial.
When one WWHL caller asked Phaedra to talk about Apollo's case, the savvy lawyer pleaded the Fifth.
"Obviously I have nothing to do with his current issues, and so he is going to appear and have his own conversation with the lovely Andy Cohen, and he will tell you all about his issues and problems, and I will sit back quietly and listen," she responded.
Andy then asked her if she would be representing Apollo in court, to which she quickly replied, "Oh, well, hell no."
But, just because Phaedra isn't standing next to her man as his attorney, that doesn't mean she's not standing next to him as his wife.
"At the end of the day, I am a Southern belle and I believe in family and I will support him until this is resolved," she vowed.
Phadera may be an Attorney but I sincerely doubt she was oblivious to the fact that all of a sudden he had money ( outside of her allowance) to spend.

If, the courts find she was a part of Apollo's scam in any form she faces losing her ability to practice law, if she is even practicing law in any capacity.
Phadera is happyly working with dead people..

Deleteif she is the mastermind behind all the crime as her friend suggested, she will get caught, eventually they will all turn on her and try to get a deal in exchange for the big fish... wouldn't that be something, she seems so perfect on the show...
ReplyDeleteI for one am wondering what was she thinking she more than anyone knows that once a con always a con... She is a very smart lady and has a clear view of what she has to do to live a good clean respectful life for her children. I know very well how much money is made in the funeral business it could put her law practice on the back burner. I do think she puts up a very staunch front and she feels like she has to keep her reputation in tact.
