Kim Richards' Former Fiance Shot In Murder-For-Hire Plot 20 Years Ago

RadarOnline.com:
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Kim Richards tragic past is coming to light as it’s being reported that the reality star’s ex-fiance was murdered nearly two decades ago in a murder-for-hire plot.

Richards, who stars on the new installment of the Bravo franchise alongside five other high-society ladies including her sister Kyle, is shown to be more introverted and reserved compared to the other outgoing housewives - and Star Magazine uncovered the possible root of her issues that viewers can see at times unraveling on the show.

According to Star Magazine, on October 28, 1991, Richards (whose niece is Paris Hilton) was talking on the phone with her securities broker boyfriend John Collett just before he was shot and killed in broad daylight on a California street.

"John's murder was a devastating tragedy, and Kim was just torn apart," John's mother, Janis Collett told Star. "Poor Kim had to identify his body. It was a horrible nightmare for her. I've never recovered from the loss, and I don’t think Kim has either."

Collett’s murderer is currently serving a 30-year prison sentence, while investigators believe Collett was gunned down as a result of his alleged involvement in a $150 million telemarketing fraud case.

Sheree Whitfield Suffers Seizure . . . Of Her Aston Martin

TMZ.com:
Sheree Whitfield from "Real Housewives of Atlanta" better have a Schwinn lying around -- because TMZ has learned her precious Aston Martin was seized this weekend ... after she allegedly screwed over a former ally.

The people behind the seizure are Whitfield's former divorce lawyer, who sued the reality star -- and won -- after she stiffed them out of more than $110,000 in legal fees.

A rep for the lawyer tells TMZ they still haven't received the money -- so this weekend, they had the local sheriff's department snatch the car up as payment.

So now Sheree's short one husband ... AND one Aston Martin.

Sheree tells TMZ she thinks the judgment against her is unfair -- but adds, "It's okay, it's a car, I'll get another one."

Bethenny Frankel Signs Up For "Skating With The Stars"

EOnline.com:
Et tu, Bethenny Frankel?

The former Real Housewives of New York star has signed on for ABC's latest reality competition, Skating With the Stars—which apparently aims to improve on Fox's one-and-done Skating With Celebrities.

Er, the winner of that hooked up with her married partner and had his baby, so this show has a lot to live up to...
But ABC's giving it a go.

Joining Bethenny in the rink, in order from "OK" to "oookaaay" will be Mötley Crüe rocker Vince Neil, Olympic gold-medalist skier Jonny Moseley, No Way Out vixen (circa 1987) Sean Young, Disney Channel actor Brandon Mychal Smith (incidentally, Demi Lovato's Sonny With a Chance costar) and All My Children's Rebecca Budig (also the ex-wife of Bachelor Bob Guiney).

Like Dancing With the Stars did back in season one, Skating With the Stars (they share a producer, what do you know?!) is starting slow with only six contestants.
Hmmm, I thought ice skating was Jill's thing?!?

Adrienne Maloof-Nassif Talks Las Vegas

LasVegassun.com:

Part of an entrepreneurial family that includes her brothers Joe, Gavin, George Jr. and Phil, Adrienne Maloof-Nassif has stepped into the national spotlight with a role on Bravo's "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" — although she hardly can be considered just a housewife.

With her brothers, Maloof-Nassif co-owns Maloof Companies, whose holdings include the NBA's Sacramento Kings and Palms Casino Resort. She shared her Sin City favorites with "Las Vegas Magazine."

Simon Brunch: He's (Kerry Simon) a fantastic chef, and he's very creative. The people come relaxed from the night before and are ready for a great meal and a little R&R, too.

Drift Spa & Hammam: It's very peaceful, very calming. The people that work there are fabulous. The woman that does my facials most of the time, she's just absolutely incredible. I usually get the microdermabrasion or the hydrogen facial.

BounceU and Las Vegas Mini Gran Prix: I have three little boys, so for me, Vegas is wonderful because there are so many things for kids to do as well. People don't realize that, but there are.

The Forum Shops at Caesars: I usually go to Versace, and I like Armani. I like just kind of walking there, having lunch and enjoying the atmosphere.

Nove Italiano and N9NE Steakhouse: Nove is fabulous and Chef Geno is incredible. Chef Barry is fantastic, and what a gem of a guy. He always does the crab cocktail for me. It's spectacular. So fresh, and his presentation is incredible.

Hardwood Suite at the Palms: My kids like to play basketball in there, and it's a great workout for me.

Kandi Burruss Talks New Album "Kandi Koated"

20 Questions: Phaedra Parks

BVNewswire.com:

It's hard acting like you have some sense when you're on a reality television series.

But for Phaedra Parks, her job as an attorney to some of entertainment's big names has prepared her for her latest career venture as one of two new cast members on Bravo's top-rated 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta.'

The Athens, Georgia native has represented Bobby Brown, Ludacris, Jermaine Dupri and Too Short with her boutique agency, The Parks Group, P.C., and served as a legal analyst for NBC and Fox News. Still, showcasing her personal life has been something that she wasn't fully prepared for.

BlackVoices.com gets some insight into how this self-proclaimed "Southern Belle" is dealing with it all.

Blackvoices.com: Why'd you join the third season of 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta?'
Phaedra Parks
: It was a challenge. It was something very new and I had done production on other reality shows and I worked in some casting capacities and this was the opportunity for me to broaden my horizons and see how it was to be in front of the camera instead of behind the scenes. It was the perfect time I was on leave because I was pregnant because my workload was different because I was on maternity leave.

BV: What was your impression of the show and ladies before joining?
PP:
I wasn't a huge fan of the show. I didn't watch the show faithfully and I was familiar with most of the people on the show just from being in Atlanta and frequenting some of the same shopping districts. So, I knew them all, but didn't have a close relationship with any of them besides Kandi [Burruss] who I hung out with and we travel in a lot of the same circles.

BV: Were you worried it would affect your reputation or practice?
PP:
I knew the show wasn't going to be focused on my law practice per say and I have a boutique firm so the general public is not my clientele. I don't do any advertising so when people come for my service they have been referred or hear about me from another client so my reputation speaks for itself I never planned on doing anything that would discredit my name and at the end of the day my clients understand this is entertainment.

Paris Hilton "Obsessed" With Her Aunts on Beverly Hills Housewives

USmagazine.com:
According to Paris Hilton, aunts Kim and Kyle Richards are having a hard time adjusting to the spotlight after The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills premiered two weeks ago.

"When there's cameras around there's always going to be a lot of pressure," she told UsMagazine.com at the Haute Canine Couture event in Beverly Hills Thursday. "Kim wasn't used to it in the beginning. She was an actress her whole life, and now it's reality, which is really different. I think it's hard to really get into."

Before her aunts made their Bravo debut, Hilton, 29, admitted she'd never watched the Real Housewives franchise -- but now the Simple Life veteran tells Us she's "obsessed" with the show. "It's really good," she says. "I think they're really funny and are doing great!"

Adrienne Maloof And Kyle Richards Jealous Of Sexy Camille?

Astrochicks.com:
Camille Grammer, the femme fatale is stirring up some major drama on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Especially between Adrienne Maloof and her plastic surgery husband, Dr. Paul Nassif. The cat claws came out this week, during a wild weekend in Las Vegas at the Maloof family owned Palms Casino. Adrienne Maloof’s hubby Dr. Paul, couldn’t stop drooling over Camille’s Grammer’s sexy stripper moves and busty tata’s.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills hit a Jay Z concert, compliments of Adrienne Maloof and her brothers. It was an interesting weekend in Vegas, with Kim Richards and Camille Grammer playing third wheels to the married couples. It’s pretty obvious that Kyle Richards and Adrienna Maloof are SUPER jealous of Camille.

She’s wild, she’s a guys girl and loves to chat up the boys. Plus, now that she’s single and MEGA rich, she will be one hot commodity on the 90210 dating market.

Astrochicks finds the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills marriages fascinating. Kyle and Lisa seem to think that Taylor Armstrong is so hot, not really ladies. Her face looks like it has been smashed against a window, most guys would not find her attractive, unless you like ducks. Neither did her rich husband Richard, who she had to chase for three months before he would even take her out.

Lisa Vanderpump appears to have the most normal marriage, her husband is handsome and charming in a British sort of way. He’s definitely in love with his Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, it they could only get rid of her gay boy toy that lives at the house.
Funny that so many people seem to think Camille's the hottest 'Housewife' on RHOBH because I just don't see it. In fact I'd say with ease that Kyle and Taylor are way hotter than Camille and if Kim wasn't so uptight all the time I'd put her 3rd.
