Bethenny Frankel Went on Shark Tank and Invested in Fledgling Beverage Company

Skinnygirl mogul Bethenny Frankel has fallen in love with a fledgling beverage company she discovered while serving as a guest investor on Shark Tank.

The Real Housewives of New York City businesswoman took a moment during her birthday on South Beach in Miami to tell fans how excited she is about partnering with Shark Kevin O'Leary to invest $150,000 for 25 percent equity in Snarky Tea, a beverage company selling healthy teas with Bethenny-esque witticisms such as "Namaste Motherf**ker" and "Fierce B*tch."

The company was launched by new mom Jenni-Lyn Williams, who scored the deal when she was seven months pregnant.

Jenni-Lyn told ABC 7 in Sarasota, Florida that her odyssey into tea began when a doctor advised her to cut down an excessive coffee habit. "I thought tea is not for me, I'm just going to have to switch to decaf or something like that," she said. "So the next day, I went to work and I started looking at the options of tea in the kitchen. And the woman that worked at the coffee bar there, I just sort of turned to her and said, 'You know, I don't know what I'm looking at. If they had a tea called 'Wake the F Up,' I would know exactly which one to order right now because I'm tired and I need something that's going to give me a jolt.' So that inspired it and I just went to my desk and started drawing up ideas."

Bethenny fell in love with the product and the woman behind it.
