The horrifying ATV accident in last week's episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County left Vicki Gunvalson battered and bruised and alone in a Palm Springs hospital room—and sparked a shifting of alliances when Meghan King Edmonds refused to go visit her frenemy despite being only a short drive away from the hospital.RELATED: Monster Mom? While the fallout from Meghan's somewhat cold decision will only begin to play out on tonight's new episode, Vicki admits that her young co-star has changed her tune since the episode aired last week.
"Well, Meghan has actually reached out to me, just even in the past week, and just said, 'I just want to let you know I'm so sorry. If I would've known now what I've seen how bad the accident was, I would've reacted differently,'" she told E! News' Zuri Hall. "They were getting not really complete information"
While Kelly Dodd and Heather Dubrow impressed upon Meghan that they'd all rolled in the ATV and Vicki had to be airlifted two hours away, they undersold the severity of the situation—likely due to their own shock over what had happened to them—Vicki believes. "I was there 10 hours. I had nobody with me. I was unconscious, I had a morphine drip," Vicki revealed. "I was released with hospital scrubs on and I went home in an Uber for two and a half hours and cried the whole way."
Vicki admitted that she's forgiven Meghan ("Jesus says to forgive"), but don't hold your breath on any reconciliation with Shannon Beador, who we'll see tonight also had no interest in visiting Vicki once she arrived at Meghan's home in La Quinta and learned about the accident.
"Shannon has not asked for forgiveness. She keeps wanting to say I lied on a cancer scam. I didn't, and I don't know how many times I'm going to tell her that. I don't know how many times she's going to continue this. We've over a year out of a bad relationship I was in. I'm done talking about it. She's not," Vicki explained. "So if she wants to continue to talk about it, that looks bad on her. I'm over it. So we're not in a good place, Shannon and I. I really don't care if I ever see her again."
