Joe and Teresa Giudice of "Real Housewives of New Jersey" originally listed their home at $4 million in September before heading to court for bankruptcy fraud. Now, a report says, the bank has foreclosed on it.RELATED: Joe Giudice Relists New Jersey Mansion For Sale While Teresa Locked Up
After the two plead guilty to a huge money scheme, Teresa went to prison in January, where she will serve 15 months for bankruptcy fraud and conspiracy to commit wire fraud. Her time will be staggered with her husband so they can coordinate child care for their four children.
When she reported to prison, Giudice released a statement that was, in part, to say that she was sorry that her and her husband's decisions had negatively impacted their children.
"I am heartbroken that this is affecting my family, especially for my four young daughters who mean more to me than anything in the world," the statement read.
The original asking price for the couple's home was $3.99 million, but they dropped that price to $2.99 million this week, NJ.com reports. The bank, however, has now begun the process of foreclosing on the home, according to the website.
The couple and their four children have lived in the house since 2008, around the time the show started, TMZ reports.
The 10,000-square foot home sits on 3.5 acres. Downstairs is a kitchen, "great room," dining room, family room, full bath and bedroom, a playroom or craft room, laundry room and two patios. Upstairs are a game room, office (with another patio), sitting room, loft and five bedrooms, including the master bedroom with three walk-in closets.
Gaudy Mcmansion, looks like it was furnished by T.J. Maxx.
