When TMZ cameras asked the Real Housewives of Atlanta star if she was planning to let sons Ayden, 5, and Dylan 19 months, visit her estranged husband Apollo Nida in jail over the holidays, Parks made it clear there's no more bad blood between the two.
"I would love to," she said. "I have sent him a Christmas card and everything. I speak to him all the time."
While the former couple seems to be on amicable terms now, tensions flared between the two when Nida landed in hot water with law and was sentenced to serve eight years in jail for fraud back in July.
"Life is extremely difficult right now," said Parks, after skipping out on Nida's sentencing. "Apollo's actions are the ultimate betrayal … I thought he was a changed man."
After months of speculation, the Bravo star officially announced her split from her former husband in October.
"Phaedra has retained an attorney with the intent of amicably ending her marriage," her rep, Steve Honig, told PEOPLE.
And despite having initial doubts about bringing her children to visit Nida behind bars, the mom of two has changed her tune for now. As she previously said, "If taking them to a prison is going to traumatize them, I'm not going to do it."
