Kathy Wakile Only Returning To RHONJ Because Bravo ‘Wanted’ Her Sister Rosie Pierri

If this is true then it wouldn't be a surprise. As gay-friendly as Bravo is (not to mention having an executive VP/creator who also happens to be gay) Rosie Pierri was definitely pushed to the forefront this season and I don't think that was just a coincidence. Of course, it doesn't help that Kathy Wakile herself has never been an exciting, drama-inducing character, but whatever:
Kathy Wakile is only returning to The Real Housewives of New Jersey because Bravo producers wanted her sister Rosie Pierri to come back to the franchise for the next season.

“Kathy is not a housewife anymore,” an insider tells RadarOnline.com.

“They wanted Rosie, not Kathy. Rosie would never sign a contract without Kathy. So what they did was they made them split a contract.”

Kathy’s housewife status has since been demoted to a minor role while Rosie will be stepping up and getting more airtime.

“They are ‘friends of the housewives’ with a split contract,” the inside says. “Trust me, you aren’t going to be seeing too much of Kathy next season. They only got her to get to Rosie.”

Of course, this didn’t settle with Kathy too well.

“Oh my god, I heard she pulled some tantrum,” the insider says. “Pulled a tantrum!”

But Bravo had their sights set on Rosie, possibly because of the dynamic conversations she carried on with Teresa Giudice’s husband Joe Giudice on screen this past season.

“They like the combo, her and Joe Giudice,” the insider says.

Rosie’s outspoken ways also possibly helped her nab a more serious spot.

“Did you ever go to school and there’s like a [control] kid in school?” the insider says. “She reminds me of that and they exploit that. They love this s***.”

Plus, Rosie’s sexual preferences might have been an added bonus.

“Bravo is [a] gay [network] and that’s cool,” the insider says. “And she’s like the gay person on housewives. There’s no question about it.”

So, the insider concludes, “People think she’s funny… getting completely drunk… sometimes it can get a little perverted and a little crazy. That’s Bravo.”

Adriana De Moura Talks Wedding Ceremony to Frederic Marq

USmagazine.com:
Fans of Bravo's Real Housewives of Miami got a glimpse of Adriana De Moura's elaborate wedding to Frederic Marq on the Monday, Oct. 14, episode of the series' third season. But a lot went on behind the scenes that viewers didn't get to see. Us Weekly sat down with the bride before the episode aired to get all the details on her ceremony, dress, reception, and more!
As seen on the show, art gallery owner De Moura and French hotel designer Marq tied the knot on Friday, May 17, at Coral Gables Congregational Church with 70 of their closest friends and relatives as witnesses. Fellow Housewives Alexia Echevarria and Lisa Hochstein served as bridesmaids, along with former Housewife Marysol Patton, pal DJ Kerr, and De Moura's niece Carla. All five wore white -- as did her groom and all of their guests. In fact, De Moura was the only one not in white; she donned a gray tulle gown by Gabriella Arango Couture.

The idea behind all the white, she explains, was to have "no negative energy. It was about peace and love and just purity in the sense of emotions and intentions." It was also, she adds, a nod to the Brazilian tradition of wearing white on New Year's Eve. "It signifies the passing, the purity, the new beginning...and that's what I wanted to do with my wedding," she tells Us.

As for the ceremony itself, which featured a couple of special performances by her 12-year-old son, Alex, who read Maya Angelou's "Alone" and played a Chopin prelude on the piano? "It was very intimate and very heartfelt," she says. "For me, I wanted it to be about my son being happy that finally now we are having a sacred moment where our families are really uniting -- having that symbolism, that ritual. And I think the whole ceremony was very heartfelt and emotional in that sense."

(De Moura and Marq have been engaged since RHOM started airing in 2011. Alex is her son from a previous marriage.)

The ceremony was indeed emotional -- for both De Moura and her groom. "He tells me that the moment it truly sunk in was when he saw me, the first glimpse he had of me walking down the aisle," she tells Us of Marq's feelings about the big day. "He said in that moment he just felt this rush across his body and he was really taken up with emotion. You know, that moment meant a lot to him...That's the moment he said he really felt a lot of emotion and he was like, 'Wow, you know, this is really happening.'"
It happened, all right. But not without a few hiccups. Though De Moura tells Us the ceremony "came out exactly the way [she] dreamt and even better in some ways," getting to the altar was no easy task. Marq actually lost his tuxedo a few hours before showtime, and De Moura was so stressed out by all the planning and preparation that she almost passed out.

"I was just so overwhelmed at a certain point, I felt like I was just going to faint," she explains. "I was just so drained by all of the things I had to do prior to and the day of that I was just literally almost passing out. I was just overwhelmed, physically and emotionally, I guess."
She eventually recovered, of course -- enough to party until almost 1 a.m. Following the ceremony, and a not-so-quick costume change, she and her guests headed to the Biltmore Hotel for a Great Gatsby-inspired bash, complete with a champagne sabrage (a ritual involving a sword and a bottle of champagne).

"After we finally got to the party and the dinner turned into dessert and the champagne started rolling, we started to have fun, and then everybody was on the dance floor," she tells Us. "I danced with Frederic, I danced with my son, and I danced with my bridesmaids, and then everybody started dancing to my song. It was a fun party."

LuAnn De Lesseps Having A ‘Tough Time’ Being Single After Breakup From Long-Term Boyfriend Jacques Azoulay

RadarOnline.com:
She’s just broken up with long-term boyfriend Jacques Azoulay but Countess LuAnn de Lesseps says she’s already finding it tough being single again.

And in an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com, The Real Housewives of New York City star is revealing the real reason she broke up with her boyfriend of 4½ years last month. Jacques – who at 38 is 10 years her junior – wanted to have kids and the mom-of-two didn’t.

“There was a lot of frustration on both ends in that I know that Jacques would love to have a family,” the Countess says.

“And at this point in my life, with my daughter going to college and my son just turned 17, I realized that I’m not ready to start over again. So we decided to mutually separate.”

But the reality TV star said they both still “adore each other.”

“We’re friends and we do speak,” she says. “We’re just on different paths and at different points in our lives and we want different things. And so, as tough as it is, we’re both very supportive of each other still.”

After being loved up for so long LuAnn says she’s finding it hard to dive back into the dating pool – even joking that she would consider going on The Bachelor to help her find a new boyfriend.

She says: “It’s hard and I like being in a relationship, so I hope Prince Charming is going to come in and sweep me up! Maybe I have to do a new show like The Bachelor or The Bachelorette to find him.”

LuAnn wants her new man to be a bit older. She says: “I hope I’ll go on to meet the right person for me, who already has a family, who is already kind of ‘been there and done that’ and [is] maybe a little bit more age appropriate.

“Not that Jacques isn’t, but having somebody a little older might be good for me.”

Her future beau also has to be able to keep up with her glitzy lifestyle.

“It’s so hard to find someone of great quality,” she says. “I’ve been very lucky to have quality people in my life who are sophisticated, who speak languages, who know how to order wine, who are gentlemen, who are great men, so I know that they exist.

“It’s just a matter of not settling for less and finding Mr. Right.”

As for those rumors that she’s rekindling her romance with her ex-husband Alexandre de Lesseps, LuAnn says they are just “good friends,” adding: “We’ve always had a great relationship after our marriage, and we’re the parents to these two beautiful, wonderful kids.”

Jacqueline Laurita Addresses Rumors Surrounding Her Leaving Real Housewives of New Jersey

Wetpaint.com:
Just days after Caroline Manzo confirmed that she will be leaving The Real Housewives of New Jersey, reports surfaced that Jacqueline Laurita may be following suit. With three rumored additions to the Season 6 roster, we wouldn't be surprised to see Jacqueline make her exit, but we're still not sure if the gossip is true.

Apparently, we're not the only ones who are uncertain.

Jacqueline herself took to Twitter to reveal that she doesn't know what the future holds for her. When one of her followers asked her if the rumors were true, Jacqueline replied, "Not sure yet. ;0)."

With all of the hard work she's devoting to Autism awareness and helping her son Nicholas, it makes sense that Jacqueline might not have room in her busy schedule to fit in another season of the show. Plus, some fans have been complaining that Season 5 was boring, so a casting shakeup might be just what the show needs to regain the spark that makes it so addictive.

At the same time, the show is a great way for Jacqueline to get the word out about her cause, and we'd miss her if she left.

Bethenny Frankel Reveals That Jason Hoppy Still Lives In Her House

HuffPo.com:
Ellen DeGeneres appears on Bethenny Frankel's talk show today (Oct. 16) to set the record straight on their reported feud, but all the pair seems to want to talk about is Frankel's messy split.

As Frankel, whose show was founded by DeGeneres' production company, discusses her relationship with Ms. DeGeneres, she lets it slip that her estranged husband, Jason Hoppy, is still living in their New York home amid divorce drama.

"I was just telling my audience how much I love you and how amazing you've been to me and a lot of people like to make a lot of comments in the press about different relationships whether it's someone gives someone a show and it's just a business relationship and I try to explain to people that you and I are really friends," Frankel tells DeGeneres via satellite, responding to the rumors that DeGeneres wants to cut ties with her show. "We actually go to dinner, I hang out with you and Portia [De Rossi], I've been to your house. I genuinely love you and look up to you and I call you when things are rough or when I need advice and that's just the nature of this relationship."

DeGeneres chimes in, joking that although that's true, she has yet to be invited to Frankel's home, which is when the former "Real Housewife" reveals: "My ex-husband lives in my house, Ellen." Awkward.

"Well then I am not going there," DeGeneres quips, continuing to discuss her relationship with Frankel. "I am not distancing myself from your show, I love you. I am so proud of you. I am proud to have my name on it and I think that you are amazing and we are friends."

Frankel gets teary-eyed as DeGeneres explains that she tried to get her to film in Los Angeles so that they would be closer together, but that Frankel's daughter with Hoppy, Bryn, is in New York, which is why her show is shot there.

"You can't really talk about what's going on in your life right now and I know that," DeGeneres says, hinting that Frankel's divorce is a lot more complicated than viewers think. "I know what's really going on and I know that's really hard for you to not share how difficult a time this is for you. That's weird because you do share everything with your audience but you are not allowed to talk about your divorce, so I'll just leave it at that."

Real Housewives of New Jersey Reunion Shows Have HUGE Ratings Drop

RadarOnline.com:
Real housewives, real ratings disaster! All the bickering, backstabbing, bloody brawls and felony charges couldn’t make the viewers tune into the Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion episodes because the ratings have bombed for the Andy Cohen hosted specials compared to the previous season’s numbers.

Even the possibility of Teresa Giudice going to jail didn’t convince very many people to watch the second part of the Bravo reunion special, with a total of 2,099,000 eyeballs on the train wreck of a show, according to Bravoratings.com.

This number is a drastic drop from the previous season, when the average viewers for season four’s three episodes was a whopping 3,464,333.

The RHONJ season five sofa session scored just 0.90 in the 18 to 49 year-old demographic, which is a drop from the first episode that rated 1.10.

So far season five has been a huge drop from the three season-four cat fights that scored 1.70, 1.60 and 1.60 in the desirable demographic.

Bravoratings.com reports that this is a “massive 38.9% reduction in the 18 to 49 year old viewers who have stayed with this show from last year.”

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, there will be major shakeups in the cast for the upcoming season to add more drama to the show, which seems to be reaching a crisis point now.

Cynthia Bailey Barbie Doll To Be Released This Week

Wetpaint.com:
Just in time for Christmas — the Cynthia Bailey doll has hit the shelves! The supermodel-turned-Real Housewives of Atlanta-star has her own Barbie, complete with a mess of jet black, curly hair, a black leather jacket (we’re guessing faux leather!), and a white tank top that reads “The Bailey Agency”.

Once you get a role on one of these shows you can create an entire brand. Cynthia recently penned a book and now this. What’s next  world domination? Hey, anything’s possible after becoming a part of the Real Housewives franchise.

One has to wonder whether Cynthia is making positive decisions, though, especially in light of the fact that she has made public that she wants to be a positive role model for teen girls. In fact, she said that was part of the Bailey Agency mission when she created it, as she wanted to improve teen girls’ self-esteem.

Recently, Cynthia tweeted plans to lose 20 pounds on the DNA diet, despite the fact that she clearly doesn’t need to shed any weight. Now she’s created her own Barbie doll complete with zero percent body fat? It seems like she’s sending mixed messages, but who are we to judge?

Interestingly enough, she recently posted an Instagram photo of herself on HLN’s Raising America, and she exchanged those long curls for a super short pixie cut. We all know how that went for Beyonce!

Joanna Krupa Relieved She Wasn’t Invited To Adriana De Moura’s Wedding

RadarOnline.com:
Joanna Krupa‘s hostility for Adriana De Moura oozes to the surface in this new blog from the Dancing with the Stars contestant-turned-Real Housewives Of Miami starlet, as she lists a number of reasons she’s relieved not to have been invited to her castmate’s wedding after seeing what a comedy of errors it turned out to be.

“The good news for me is that I wasn’t there,” the 34-year-old Poland native wrote on her Bravo blog, before listing most of the things viewers saw go wrong on Monday’s broadcast — including countless delays and a costume change in searing South Florida heat.

“So NO, I didn’t wait 1 1/2 hours for the ceremony,” Krupa wrote. “NO, I didn’t wait 2 hours to start eating.”

Krupa, who’s been battling DeMoura on the show, said she was glad she “didn’t have to stay and pretend I was happy after hours of delay for…what again?”

Krupa confirmed she “wasn’t invited,” clarifying that she’s never been so happy to “say so many NOs.”

As we previously reported, De Moura and Frederic Marq tied the knot this past May 17.

The Real Housewives of Miami airs Mondays on Bravo at 10/9c.

Caroline Manzo Makes It Official: She's Leaving Real Housewives of New Jersey

HuffPo.com:
Caroline Manzo has officially announced she's leaving "Real Housewives of New Jersey." The reality show veteran tweeted her goodbyes to fans as the second part of the "Real Housewives of New Jersey" Season 5 reunion ended.

Caroline went into more details on her Bravo blog.

"When we started filming Housewives so long ago, Al made me promise him one thing. He said, 'Just be yourself and have fun with it.' I've always prided myself on giving you the truth of who I really am, the good, the bad, and the ugly. Over the past few years my outlook on the show has changed from something I couldn't wait to show my future grandchildren to something I hope my future grandchildren never see," Caroline wrote.

She went on, explaining if she were to film another season she would be a hypocrite. "For me, peace and integrity cannot be bought with money or fame. I practice what I preach, and as I said on the reunion, I'm done.I simply feel that my role has run its course and I have nothing more to give."

Don't expect Caroline to just walk away into the sunset. Bravo has already announced production the pilot for a potential spinoff following Manzo and her family titled "Manzo'd with Children." The project is still in pilot phase, but Caroline promised a "very different look into the world of the Manzo family."

"We didn't close the book, we just turned the page," she wrote.

Bravo has yet to announce a sixth season of "Real Housewives of New Jersey." If they do, there are rumors that Caroline's sister, Dina, could return to the series.

Lydia McLaughlin Talks "Real Housewives" Drama and New Bling

TooFab.com:
Lydia McLaughlin made it out of her first season of the "Real Housewives of Orange County" unscathed -- and now she's ready to shed some insight about what really went down in the O.C!

toofab's Brittany Kyles chatted with the O.C. newbie about all things "Housewives." Since filming's wrapped for the hit Bravo show, Lydia's taken on another new project: Jewelry design!

From gorgeous gold bangle bracelettes to stunning rings and earrings, each handcrafted piece was designed by Lydia herself.

"It's all handmade in Orange County and I just really wanted to make something that I would wear," she says. "I know that I am a really hands-on mom -- I'll go from a park play date, to a business meeting and maybe a date night with my husband. [While] I love sparkly, big, funky earrings, I hate that feeling at the end of the day when you can't wait to take off your jewelry."

Each of her pieces are lightweight and versatile -- which was her goal for the Lydia M. Jewelry collection. But she's not just trying to turn a profit, 10% of Lydia's earnings will go to iSanctuary -- an organization that helps rehabilitate victims of human trafficking.

"I think a lot of times people think 'it happens over there' but as you get more educated about it, there's a lot of human trafficking happening in our backyard, even in Orange County," she says.

While the "Real Housewives of Orange County" recently wrapped, McLaughlin's still recovering from the reunion.

Viewers were shocked when they saw Vicki Gunvalson's son-in-law, Ryan Culberson, burst out in rage against Lydia's mother for relaxing on the couch at Gunvalson's party. While there's no actual footage of what happened, both of them were miked at the time.

Lydia and her mother have yet to hear an apology from Vicki's daughter Briana Culberson or Ryan. "Watching it back I was able to understand more of where she [Briana] was coming from and why she took her husband's side, because she really didn't know what happened," McLaughlin explains.

"I was really expecting her to come on the reunion and say 'I'm sorry' or give some sort of an apology. It's not even that she had to apologize, but at least take responsibility for her husband's actions," she adds.

That wasn't the only hard moment for Lydia last season -- at the reunion special she broke down in tears after Briana accused Vicki's then-boyfriend, Brooks Ayers, of condoning spousal abuse.

Lydia -- clearly upset by the argument -- had to remove herself for a moment from the heated exchange ... but, there's more to the story.

"I really love Vicki. I just have a soft spot in my heart for her. I think I relate to her and Briana's relationship, because I am really close with my mother as well," she explains. "I have had talks with Vicki and I know how much she cares for Brooks. So at that moment, I felt like her daughter was attacking someone she loved, she was getting hurt, Brooks was going to get so creamed by anyone who watches the show, Briana was hurt and I just felt like it had taken it to a new low."

Even though the season is over, Lydia has still maintained great relationships with the ladies -- especially Gretchen Rossi and Alexis Bellino who have reportedly been let go from the cast.

"It's ironic, I'm the closest with Alexis and Gretchen, [I think] if I go back again, and all of the rumors are true, I'm out of luck. I have the most in common with them. But I still talk to Vicki, and Tamra [Barney] and I text occasionally," she reveals.

Now with her first reality show season behind her, Lydia's happy she joined the cast. "You know it's a hard show to navigate through, it was a great experience. I think if you just take it for a ride and you don't take it too seriously -- you'll be successful at it," she tells us.

And for anyone with hopes of reality TV stardom, the O.C. housewife's best advice is to be true to yourself ... because there's a lot of editing that goes in to it.

"Of course it's edited. They are filming maybe 10% of your life and out of that 10% you see 1% that makes it. So I think it's genuinely who you are, but there are so many sides to everybody," she says. "I'm just being authentically who I am."

Hopefully, we'll see Lydia back with the "Housewives" next season -- to see what she's doing now make sure to follow her on Twitter and check out Lydiam.com for her jewelry and blog updates!
