Carole Radziwill Dons Sheer Dress At TV Land Awards

HuffPo.com:
Not every 48-year-old could get away with wearing a totally sheer dress with nothing but a bra and boy-shirts underneath. Then again, not every 48-year-old is a Real Housewife of New York, a Kennedy cousin and a daughter-in-law of a prince.

Carole Radziwill is the newest cast member of "The Real Housewives of New York City", with her first episode set to air on June 4. But the New Yorker has been on the scene for years as wife of the late Anthony Radziwill, son of Prince Stanislas and Lee Radziwill. (Lee, for those who aren't up on their fashionable senior citizens, is Jacqueline Kennedy's sister.)

Which makes Carole royalty, either by inheriting her in-laws' titles or marrying into American Royalty: the Kennedys. Either way, she's embracing the limelight like never before, walking the red carpet of the 10th Annual TV Land Awards in a show-stopping dress.

Posing with "RHONY" co-star Aviva Drescher, Radziwill wore a sheer black gown covered in a sequined lace pattern. Peeking out fron underneath? A black bandeau and high-waisted shorts.

We've seen plenty of sheer dresses recently, but this is a bold look for a woman approaching her fifties. Then again, if we had that body at age 48...

Real Housewives of Atlanta Cast Get Into Epic Battle At Reunion; Kim Zolciak Claims Marlo Will Never Become Part of the Cast

RsdarOnline.com:
The Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion airs this Sunday and fireworks are going to go off!

The feisty women get together for an explosive end of season sit down with host Andy Cohen and if the trailer is anything to go by it’s going to be messy.

Nene Leakes, Kandi Burruss, Sheree Whitfield, Kim Zolciak, Cynthia Bailey, Marlo Hampton and Phaedra Parks divide into the “talls” and the “smalls” for an epic battle where the gloves are totally off.

Everything from Nene’s son's arrest to her broken friendship with Kim is discussed leading to a nasty fight between the women where nothing is off limits.

And it appears that even in their sub-groups, the Southern socialites turn against each other with Phaedra and Sheree going at it.

Newcomer Marlo is even seen calling one of the Housewives a “whore” and the women get personal about looks with Sheree telling Nene to “fix her face.”

You can watch the explosive Real Housewives of Atlanta Reunion Part 1 on Bravo, Sunday April 15 at 9/8c.

Taylor Armstrong 'Freaked Out' By Bravo Phasing Her Out Of Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills

RadarOnline.com:
Taylor Armstrong was unaware that producers of Bravo's The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills are planning to phase her out of the show, and called network executives after reading RadarOnline.com's exclusive report Friday morning that she won't remain part of the cast.

The reality star is back for season three but Bravo is looking to gradually start phasing her out of the hit show. After reading the RadarOnline.com story, a distraught Taylor called the honchos at Bravo to check it out, and wasn't reassured by what she heard.

"Taylor called because she was certain that there was no way that she was going to be phased out," a source close to the reality star tells RadarOnline.com. "However, when she spoke with the higher ups they didn't deny that she would be featured on the show in a much more limited capacity with a much smaller role. Taylor now knows that her days on the show are numbered. She is extremely upset because she just signed a contract extension for season three, but she wasn't made aware of Bravo's plans for her. She absolutely freaked out because she counts on the show as her primary source of income and uses it as a platform to secure other endorsement deals."

"Producers reluctantly decided to sign Taylor for the next season and I think a lot of their decision was based purely on the fact that they felt bad just dumping her after all she went through last year," a source close to the production told RadarOnline.com.

"But, they are definitely looking to phase her out of the show gradually. The feeling is that Taylor won't really be bringing much to the table and that she's not needed anymore.

"Producers don't feel she's particularly a sympathetic character and that she lost a lot of people's respect by bringing out a book about the physical abuse she suffered at the hands of her late husband Russell Armstrong following his death, and that she basically cashed in on his suicide.

"Everyone's concerned that without the marriage drama she's just going to come across as dull. It's unlikely that she's going to be able to start publicly dating again so soon after Russell's death and with her money troubles she's unlikely to be leading any kind of aspirational lifestyle, so she's basically not really going to have any interesting hook," the source said.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Russell Armstrong committed suicide last August amidst serious financial troubles and relationship woes. Russell's death came just weeks after Taylor filed for divorce from her husband of six years.

She subsequently released a memoir titled, Hiding from Reality: My Story of Love, Loss, and Finding the Courage Within, accusing Russell of shocking physical and verbal abuse throughout their relationship.

Ramona Singer Dishes On New Season Of Real Housewives of New York

RumorFix.com:
It looks like the new season of Real Housewives of New York is going to be the best yet – and Ramona Singer is giving RumorFix all the details.

According to the Pinot Grigio-loving Housewife, all kinds of drama happens with the three new cast members Aviva Drescher, Carole Radziwill (a relative of the Kennedys) and Heather Thomson. And of course there’s still LuAnn De Lesseps and Sonja Morgan.

“What’s interesting is that I embrace each and everyone equally the same way,” says Ramona. “But it turns out that a relationship is dramatically different with each and everyone, which reflects real life. Not everyone can be great friends with everyone no matter how you are. Certain people have conflicts with each other … it’s reflective of life.”

Ramona adds that her friendships with the cast are going to be very unpredictable this season. “It’s kind of interesting because with one housewife, for whatever reason because we didn’t quite hit it off on the right foot. And we ended up really getting really close. And the one who was embracing me and was going out of her way to become my BFF, at the end we went wrong. It was craziness.”

“You’re going to see us going on three trips. It’s fabulous! There’s a trip to London, a trip to South Beach, and trip to St. Barts. The St. Barts trip is off the charts! It’s off the rails! You’ll have to watch. Someone gets possessed by someone, that’s what I think. They say St. Barts is named after a saint. It’s a very godly, pristine place. But I think someone got possessed there. That’s all I’ll say.”

We can’t wait for the new season – it premieres Monday June 4 2012!

Real Housewives Daughters Confess: “Yep! My Mom Is a Real Housewife”

BuddyTV.com:
In this month's issue of Glamour, the magazine conducted interviews with five of the daughters of the Real Housewives from their five major franchises. Here are some highlights from the interviews of what it's like for these girls to have their lives documented on reality TV.

Lauren Manzo, 24, daughter of Caroline Manzo of RHONJ
"When we first began the show, my biggest fear was viewers noticing my weight," Lauren told Glamour. "I knew I was heavy, and I knew people were going to say something, but I did everything I could to hide it and act like I was confident. When the show started to become more popular, I had these younger girls say to me on Twitter and Facebook, 'I look up to you; I love the fact that you're not a size 2.' I said to myself, You know what? All these other women are struggling. Let's put this on the show."

Pandora Sabo, 26, daughter of Lisa Vanderpump of RHOBH
"I'm a more private person than my mother is. So when Jason proposed, we had to think about how we were going to do this wedding. My mother's life is on television, but mine really isn't," she said. "I didn't let Bravo film any of the wedding. I had a regular videographer like many people do. I edited the footage, then chose what I wouldn't mind people seeing, and we gave eight minutes of it to Bravo to use. I feel like my life is filled with a bunch of one-sided conversations. Everybody knows everything about me, and I know nothing about anybody else. I wouldn't sign up for a reality show myself."

Briana Cluberson, 25, daughter of Vicki Gunvalson of RHOC
"Since the first season we haven't looked at any blogs. I try not to read the press or dig around and see what everyone's opinion is of us," Briana said in the interview. "I've seen every episode that's aired. It's hard to watch them. Nobody likes to hear their own voice, and it's weird to see yourself on TV. It's really tough to see the family things replayed, like my parents' split. I'd experienced it six or eight months before, then had to relive it on TV. I'm not looking to make my own fame off this show. It's just not me. I'm an E.R. nurse, and that's my priority. I don't want people to look at me differently. I'm just Briana the nurse."

Victoria de Lesseps, 17, daughter of LuAnn de Lesseps of RHONYC
"I was 12 when my mom told me about doing the show. I'm not a person who loves to be in front of the camera all the time," she said. "People ask me, 'Has being on TV changed how people treat you? Are people nice to you for the wrong reasons?' In a way, it has made it easier for me to see who's really my friend. This guy friend of mine, we kissed once, and he said, 'I could introduce you to my friends and tell them you're from the show.' I was like, 'That's the first thing you'd tell your friends about me?' I've never had any boy luck from the show. Maybe guys are just intimidated."

Tierra Fuller, 26, daughter of Sheree Whitfield of RHOA
"I was only on the show a few times, but the city of Atlanta isn't that big, so I get a lot of recognition--especially the first season that I was on," Tierra said. "Anytime I went out, people would come up to me like, 'Oh my God, you're Sheree's daughter!' My mom is doing her thing; I'm trying to get her to make her own workout DVD or her own juicer. A lot of opportunities come out of reality shows, and my mom is my role model."

Jill Zarin on Looking Sexy, Life After "Housewives" and Her Reality TV Crush

TooFab.com:
We just got our first glimpse of the new "Real Housewives of New York," but former "housewife" Jill Zarin proves fame (and fortune) can be found after the cameras stop rolling.

The reality TV star/entrepreneur -- who was featured on today's episode of "The View" -- has become a name in the world of fashion, thanks to her shapewear line called Skweez Couture. Her namesake jewelry collection is available online and launches in department stores this fall.

toofab recently caught up with Jill, and she talked candidly about life after "Housewives," whether or not she'll be watching Season 5, and even revealed her reality TV crush! Plus, check for a special surprise at the end of her interview.

toofab: Of all the products out there, why did you decide on a shapewear?

Jill: I felt that there was a gap missing in the shapewear market. I wanted to design a line of shapewear that was fabulous, feminine and fashionable while being competitively priced in the market about offering high quality, design and function.

toofab: How did you come up with the name "Skweez"?

Jill: I literally was in a dressing room one day trying clothes on and yelled out, "I need something to Skweez me in!" The name was born!

toofab: What’s your favorite “Skweez” product?

Jill: I have a few favorites. I absolutely love "Short Order" because it’s a lightweight shapewear short with beautiful lace on the edge of your thigh. I'm never embarrassed if I am wearing a dress; if my shapewear shows because it is sexy and pretty. My other favorite is called the "Peek-A-Boob," it's a wear your own bra shaper slip dress with lace detailing on the bottom. It is truly a miracle worker under a dress. The best part about this product is if you are wearing a simple black dress, you throw on the "Peek-A-Boob" underneath and let the black lace show at the bottom and you instantly have a new dress and have spruced up your simple dress.

toofab: Who did you draw inspiration from stylistically?

Jill: It is not a "who" answer but a "where." I travel the world with [husband] Bobby and are always taking photos for inspiration of anything ... from an animal (for a good print!) to Elizabeth Taylor's caftan at a Christie's Auction ... from the runways in Paris or Milan, to the streets of NY, inspiration is everywhere.

toofab: On your website, you mentioned you don’t always have the time to work out. Even though Skweez is shapewear, is it a substitute for fitness?

Jill: I believe fitness is important, but it doesn't have to be necessarily clearing a chunk of time out of your day to do it. Sometimes it can be as simple as talking the stairs instead of the elevator or deciding to walk instead of taking a taxi or driving. My favorite way to get motivated in the gym though is to load my iPod with new music and dance while I workout.

toofab: What’s been the most challenging part about launching the line? The most rewarding?

Jill: The most challenging part about launching a line is to create a brand statement and to make sure that all of your products live up to it and are cohesive and represent the brand. We do significant testing on our products and continue to strive for products that are innovative and solve a problem. The most rewarding thing for me is when I get fans who write to me telling me how much they love my products and how it has changed the way they feel about themselves and what they wear.

toofab: What’s more exciting – shooting for “Housewives” or HSN?

Jill: Tricky question! They are both exciting, but both extremely different. HSN was definitely more nerve wracking because it was live and so much fun to do!

toofab: Would you ever do reality TV again?

Jill: If the right opportunity presented itself I would consider doing reality TV again. I am addicted to "Shark Tank." I think Mark Cuban is so hot! I think being smart and successful is more sexy than anything and he has it all.

toofab: Will you be watching the upcoming season of “Real Housewives of New York City”?

Jill: I am sure I will watch. I love Luann [de Lesseps] and want to support all of her projects.

toofab: What’s next for Jill Zarin?

Jill: I like to live in the present and can honestly say that I am happier than I have ever been. My family is healthy and am looking forward to having a great summer in the Hamptons.
