Taylor Armstrong will reveal on next Monday night's episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills that her then husband, Russell Armstrong, had beaten her so violently, that she was hospitalized, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.
The ladies were at the grand opening of fellow Housewife Lisa Vanderpump's new restaurant, Sur, located in West Hollywood, California. More than a month had lapsed since cameras were rolling because Taylor Armstrong had been hospitalized because of a vicious beating that she incurred after Russell left her face black and blue.
"Taylor still was bruised when she was at the party. She admits on camera to the ladies that Russell had badly beaten her. This beating had taken place after she had told him their marriage was over. Taylor wanted to face the ladies, especially Camille Grammer, because Armstrong felt that Kelsey's ex-wife had put her in danger by telling the others that Russell had been violent with her in the past," the insider tells us.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Taylor didn't shed one tear during the filming of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion show, because she's a much stronger person now.
"Taylor didn't cry at the reunion because she is such a stronger person now, and she is no longer a victim," the source exclusively told RadarOnline.com.
"This was a tremendous accomplishment because of everything that she has been through, with Russell's suicide, and Taylor's issues with Camille [Grammer] and the other Housewives this season."
Lisa Vanderpump's restaurant, Sur, couldn't open until Taylor was out of the hospital, because Bravo wanted to film the event. "Taylor's hospitalization threw a monkey wrench in Lisa's bottom line. The restaurant had been ready to open, viewers will see Lisa frantically trying to get the restaurant open, but Bravo had told her they wanted to film the grand opening party, so they had to wait until Taylor was out of the hospital. Taylor wanted to face all of the women in one place. She wanted and needed to have them see her with the bruise on her face. Taylor was in VERY heavy make-up that night," the source says.
The Bravo show has had a huge ratings bump this season with Russell's suicide in the storyline. Russell committed suicide last summer because of financial woes.
If you thought The Real Housewives of New Jersey feuds between Jacqueline Laurita and Danielle Staub were over, you were sorely mistaken! In Touch Weekly is publishing an article on the women and of course they had the chance to read the article. The article is supposedly an interview with the former housewife, Danielle, where she dishes on her former housewives cast mates, including her former best friend, Jacqueline.
ut when Jacqueline read the article, she had a thing or two to say about it and in true Jacqueline style, she took it out on Twitter. "WOW! SOOO MANY CRAZY LIES PUT OUT THERE! I INTERCEPTED THE CRAZY HOUR LONG INTERVIEW I TOLD U ALL ABOUT! DANIELLE STAUB NEEDS SERIOUS HELP!!" she wrote on her Twitter account. She also reminded her Bravo boss, Andy Cohen, of her friendship with Staub. "HEY @BravoAndy, I STAND BY MY OPINION THAT DANIELLE IS CRAZY AND DANGEROUS! LIES! LIES! LIES! I SMELL ANOTHER DEFAMATION CASE GOING HER WAY."
But it wouldn't be drama unless Staub fought back and sure enough, she had something to say about her article being full of lies. "@jacquelinelaurita @intouchweekly if I had [made up lies] do you honestly think I'd tell someone I never met? she's playing u all," Danielle wrote to Jacqueline and the magazine. "You know no one can break you when you've done nothing wrong darlin- in time all in good time people will see they r playing fools." One has to question why Staub went to the media years after being fired from the show. Could she have been paid to piss off the current cast of The Real Housewives of New Jersey?
"PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW THAT YOU JUST CAN'T MAKE UP FAKE STORIES AND LIES ABOUT PEOPLE THAT YOU CAN PRINT,SELL IT AND GET AWAY WITH THAT.U WONT!" Laurita fired back. "Those incapable of making peace, just leave me alone to live my life and get on with their own miserable lives. That's all. Life goes on. Pray" ... "I honestly want every1 2move on, including myself while I focus on family & doing what I love..helping women w/beauty, health, fitness, life-style," Jacqueline ended her Twitter rampage.
Firstly, wasn't Jacqueline done with the drama that The Real Housewives of New Jersey show brought to her life? Why would she even spend the time defending herself? Why would she even give Danielle the time? Ah, maybe it's time to listen to Teresa - let the haters hate.
I usually love, love, love some Real Housewives of Atlanta gossip, but today’s story leaves me sad. Newbie not quite Housewife Marlo Hampton admitted on this week’s episode that she had been arrested seven times (yep – one for each day of the week!) but she brushed her arrests off as mainly probation violations, stating she is now a different person. NeNe Leakes quickly changed the subject to something that matters more to her — shoes — so we never got more insight into Marlo’s past. Until now.
Marlo has been up front about her troubled childhood growing up in foster care in Florida after her mother succumbed to drug addiction, but the fauxcialite started her foray into the criminal world early. StraightFromTheA blog is reporting exclusive details on one of Marlo’s arrests when she was in her early twenties.
Marlo was initially arrested back in 1998 in Florida and charged with Aggravated Battery w/Great Bodily Harm of which she was later convicted, serving six months in jail. See the mugshot from that arrest, which features Marlo smiling, below.
Apparently, while she was in a club Marlo got into a fight with another young woman over a man. During the altercation Marlo pulled out a razor blade (or another extremely sharp object) and repeatedly sliced open her opponent’s face!
The fight left the other woman horribly disfigured and she allegedly almost bled to death in the club while awaiting medical attention. Six-years later the woman, who was a mother, committed suicide at 33 by jumping off a bridge, thus leaving her son behind.
StraightFromTheA had originally reported on Marlo’s shady past and cited that as one of the major reasons Bravo had decided not to make her an official Housewife. In response to that discovery the family of the victim of Marlo’s attack came forward and gave their side of the story to the blogger. The family states they have no “ill feelings towards Marlo. That’s between her and God.”
“All that we ask is for her not to refer to my sister as a bitch or even mention her name, because she has passed away,” the family requests. Asking that Marlo refrain from calling the woman a “bitch” reportedly stems from alleged comments Marlo made about “cutting a bitch” or “fighting a bitch” when explaining the altercation to someone else.
“I received a call stating she had jumped to her death, she was a beautiful, strong minded young woman who leaves behind a son,” the email describes.”We will never honestly know what drove her to this decision, or what drove her to that moment of desperation, we do know that she left behind fun, loving memories.”
Of course, like with all suicides, there is no way to know what led the person to ultimately take their own life. An incredibly tragic and sad story. May she rest in peace. Screenshots of the original email from the woman’s family are below.
In response to details of her arrest coming to light, Marlo gave a statement to Access Atlanta‘s Rodney Ho about her version of the events and that time in her life. Here is Marlo’s statement in its entirety:
“I am shocked and saddened to hear of the recent distortions of events and false accusations disseminated over an altercation I was involved in over a dozen years ago. It had been my preference, out of respect for the person involved, as well as her family, to not speak about this incident publicly, but the recklessness with which the story is being manipulated has forced me to come forward.”
“I was in my early twenties, and what took place started out as an argument with someone who was once my friend, over the phone. In the first incident, I was ambushed at my house and badly beaten. Though charges were initially filed, those charges were later dropped and I filed a restraining order. As disturbing as the carrying of a weapon may seem, it was quite common in the environment in which I was raised, and not only I, but also the person involved in the altercation, had each brought weapons to protect ourselves. There was a confrontation, her knife dropped, mine did not.”
“I was arrested and convicted of aggravated battery for which I served 6 months in jail. What is so disturbing about the false reports now circulating is that it was she, my friend, who appeared in court on my behalf and fought to reduce my sentence.”
“Like many people, I was deeply saddened by her untimely death – 6 years later – and shocked at the recent attempts to connect me to it. Ultimately, it does a disservice to her and her family, to guess and draw conclusions as to her state of mind when she committed suicide.”
“Those reasons are obviously personal and painful and do not deserve to be speculated on for the purposes of entertainment or drawing readers to your site. She and her family remain in my prayers.”
My attorneys will be sending a cease and desist letter with a request for retraction shortly.”
It's been a wild and difficult ride for the housewives of "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills'" these past two seasons -- in particular Camille Grammer, whose marriage to actor Kelsey Grammer slowly crumbled on-camera, and Taylor Armstrong, who lost her husband Russell when he committed suicide last August.
Overall, though, Grammer said things seem to be looking up for her and her fellow housewives. She dropped by the TODAY studios Tuesday for a chat with Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford to let them know she has a new boyfriend and that things are looking up.
"This year, I had a really good year," she said of her appearances in season two.
But, she noted, during the first season, having to do on-camera interviews while her marriage was breaking up was particularly hard.
"There were times that I stopped the interview and had to take a few minutes," she explained.
What's foremost in almost every viewer's mind, though, is just how the show handled the build-up of the dissolution of the Armstrong's marriage, knowing what's to come once the cameras stop rolling. Grammer supports Bravo's decision to air the second season, though she didn't always.
"(Bravo) did a responsible job, ultimately, in the end," she said. "In the beginning, I wasn't sure we should air season two, but that's not my decision to make. ... I was against it, but then after talking with the cast and producers, if we can bring awareness to anyone who's gone through that and help people it was important to us."
She added that Taylor "looked really good" when she saw her recently. "She put on some weight and she seems happy ... happier."
It seems there is never a dull moment with the Real Housewives of New Jersey and the cast works overtime to keep the drama coming day after day. I guess they don’t want us to forget about them! Surprisingly this latest news update has nothing to do with Teresa Giudice squabbling with any Housewives! Shocked? I know — me too. It also has nothing to with Melissa Gorga making backhanded comments about anyone! Shocked? I know — me too.
As well all know Teresa is moving onto other projects besides being a hot-tempered Housewife and recently announced that she will be starring on Celebrity Apprentice. It seems that Terea’s stint on the show was a great experience for her and she gets along famously with The Donald.
Appearing on New York Live, Teresa warned fans that while some tempers flared Celebrity Apprentice was a totally different reality show experience. “I loved it. At first we are working 20 hours a day — getting up at 4:30 a.m., sometimes working until 2:00 in the morning, but overall I have to say it was an amazing experience and if I had to do it all over again, I would.”
Even though there were still some mean girl antics, no one let it get in the way of professionalism. I mean, what’s a little drama when it’s for a good cause, right? “The girls are very catty you know, but this was different from Housewives. We were asked to do tasks and we did them. Donald is amazing. It’s about charity, so it’s totally different from Housewives.”
Teresa admits there’s “definitely clashing” as there are “a lot of us Italians on the show,” but for the most part she wasn’t giving anything away about her rumored dispute with Victoria Gotti, whom Teresa described as “lovely.”
As for her relationship with the show’s infamous host, Teresa loved working with him! “Donald is amazing,” Teresa gushed. “He just said ‘Teresa, I see a different side of you. This is not the Teresa I know.’ And I’m like that’s what I wanted everyone to see,” Teresa regales. “There are going to be a lot of surprises on the show.”
You can check out the video below. Teresa also talks the differences between Housewives and CA and other aspects of her life.
While things are looking up for Teresa professionally, her husband Juicy Joe Giudice was recently indicted which might land him in prison for up to ten years. On the very same day he was indicted Joe proved he is a Giudice at heart as he shopped through his pain and was seen “trying on a mink coat and hat!” I can tell he’s taking this whole felony thing very seriously. As well as this whole paying back his creditors thing…
Apparently, the thought of leaving his marble mansion behind for a cell hasn’t really sunk in for Joe, who continues to put on a happy face. “Everything he does he laughs at,” a source tells Us Weekly. “He doesn’t take anything seriously.” Teresa is reportedly furious and embarrassed by her husbands legal incident. And frankly, I would be too!
There were more than the regular amount of tense moments during the The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion show that filmed last week, when Kyle Richards had a meltdown over talk of her sister, Kim’s drug use.
Kim was not there to defend herself as she was undergoing treatment for drug and alcohol addiction, as she was forced to do by Bravo executives, as RadarOnline.com was first to report.
However, Kyle was more than willing to defend her older sister, and the result was explosive drama in its purest form.
During the reunion, the ladies hashed out the controversies from the second season that encompassed Russell Armstrong's tragic suicide and fallout from Eddie Cibrian's ex-wife, Brandi Glanville, calling Kim a "meth addict."
"Once Andy [Cohen] brought up the fact Kim was absent because she was in rehab, Brandi immediately rolled her eyes. Things quickly escalated from there and Kim's sister, and fellow housewife, Kyle jumped once again to her sister's defense,” a show insider tells RadarOnline.com. “Brandi was basically telling everyone, ‘see, I told you so, I wasn't wrong, and I shouldn't have to apologize for pointing out that Kim is a junkie'. There was no love lost between Brandi and Kim this season, and Kyle was relieved that her sister, wasn't exposed to Brandi's venom.
"Brandi was out of control," the source continues. "She was swearing at the other women and being obnoxious."
Kim, who is Paris Hilton's aunt, is currently seeking outpatient treatment, and according to the source: "[She] is hoping she doesn't have to come back for season three. Kim has had enough of the antics of the show and all of the drama. Kyle would definitely come back for a third season though.”
Despite the fact she was let go from Real Housewives of New York City, our little redhead Jill Zarin refuses to go away!
For reasons that are hard to comprehend, she is still being featured in the press and giving interviews holding on to her very last threads of relevance by slamming her former co-workers at every opportunity.
Radar features a piece with several choice quotes from Jill, where she insists that the show is nothing without her: “Now that I’m not there, who is going to hold court this season? None of the new women knew each other before they were cast. I know if I were there, I could make people feel comfortable.”
If by making people feel comfortable, you mean loudly picking fights at every opportunity, then sure, Jill, you could have made rumored new cast members Carole Radziwill,Heather Thomson and Aviva Drescher feel right at home in the Real Housewives family!
Since she apparently ran out of things to say about her feud with former BFF Bethenny Frankel, Jill set her sights on slamming former frenemy Ramona Singer.
“No one cares about Ramona Singer anymore,” Jill rants about her former costar. “I’ve heard the new cast members are not happy with her. Ramona planted that ridiculous story about me borrowing clothes from Saks Fifth Avenue and returning them worn. But I’m having a huge party there in February, so Ramona is the one who looks like the idiot.”
While we are sure *someone* cares about Ramona, there is probably some truth to the statement that Ramona is fighting with the other ladies. Ramona, as we all remember, has had a fight with all of her cast mates at one point or another.
Not one to take anything sitting down (or without a glass of wine), Ramona tells Wetpaint Entertainment that, “Jill is delusional. And needs a reality check — no pun intended.”
Delusional or not, Jill is doing just fine for herself these days, proudly showing off a $19,000 ring once worn by Elizabeth Taylor to the TMZ cameras last week that husband Bawby Zarin gifted her for their 11th wedding anniversary. While Jill may say she’s happy going back to being just another New York wife, we think she misses the cameras much more often than she will ever admit to.
A picture of Jill’s $19K ring is below! The NY Daily News is now reporting that Jill’s pricey purchase has inspired her to start her own jewelry line, which will debut in time for Valentine’s Day. How convenient.
The feud rages on between the houses Gorga and Giudice over in New Jersey. Teresa's strained relationship with her brother Joe and sister-in-law Melissa seems to remain unresolved, because apparently Joe wasn't invited to his niece (and goddaughter) Gia's birthday party this weekend!
After he failed to tweet Gia happy birthday (for the record, Dina Manzo and Kathy Wakile both did) a fan tweeted the hunky Househusband, "Joe I think you r a sweetheart, but did u wish Gia Happy Birthday Sunday?"
He tweeted back, "Of course we did. Wish I had an invite." As you can imagine, Gia and Teresa were tweeting pics of the party all day long, so Tio Joe keenly felt the sting of his snub.
Well, we have to assume Teresa was just trying to avoid an extremely distasteful, and frankly awkward cryfest — a la Melania's infamous birthday party last year — during which Gia performed a song she had written to express her sadness over her fighting famiglia.
We need a glass (read: bowl) of pinot just thinking about it.
It’s the nastiest divorce we’ve seen in a while and now only RumorFix can tell you about secret phone calls and an emotional meeting over the Thanksgiving holiday.
Tareq, who gained fame for allegedly crashing the White House, tells RumorFix exclusively that, “Michaele showed up at my house the day after Thanksgiving.” He was stunned, it was the first time Tareq saw his estranged wife since she left him for Journey’s co-founder Neal Schon.
The former couple who starred on Real Housewives of DC talked for two hours, “and she apologized to me for what was done. She started crying, we both started crying,” he told us in the extremely candid interview. Tareq says Michaele then asked, “Do you really want a divorce?”
When it was time to say goodbye — the Salahis hugged, “but it was not like a goodbye hug — it was the hug of lovers,” he revealed.
Tareq then said he got a barrage of tearful phone calls from his ex about two weeks ago. They came at about the same time that a nude photo of Neal was leaked on the Internet. Tareq even says her mother called five times. Tareq asks, “Why does Michaele keep calling me?”
Tareq says Michaele even called him on New Year’s Eve — a call he didn’t take. “Good riddance to 2011,” he says. “I’m really looking forward to putting this in my past.”
Michaele’s rep tells RumorFix the story “has zero truth to it.”
After more than a month of treatment, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kim Richards has checked out of rehab, Us Weekly can exclusively report. "Kim is doing well," a source says.
During her short stay, Kim "tried to leave and she ended up coming back," another insider told Us on December 29, adding that the 47-year-old was "very defiant."
Because she was in treatment, Kim -- who recently split with Ken Blumenfeld -- was unable to tape The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion special, airing later this year.
Kim's erratic behavior was a central theme of the show's second season: in one episode, costar Adrienne Maloof's plastic surgeon husband Dr. Paul Nassif informed Kim that she was taking too many prescription pills, resulting in slurred speech and a "sedated" demeanor.
Costar Brandi Glanville also accused the former child star of being "wasted out of her f-cking mind" during game night at Dana Wilkey's house.
"Kim's alcohol addiction along with other substance abuse problems has been obvious for quite some time," a close pal told Us December 6. "It's really good that she's finally getting help."
