Big news: According to a recent write-up in the New York Post, it appears that Caroline Manzo is set to be the first Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member to get her own spin-off. Guess who's mad jealous? Teresa Giudice, of course.
The Post reported, "We’re told that Caroline,
husband Albert Manzo — co-owner of The Brownstone, an event and catering
facility in Paterson — and their kids, Albie, Lauren and Christopher,
are being lined up for the show. Presumably it would be based around
their 40-year family business."
Meanwhile, the Examiner claims that Teresa is turning green over the news.
“Teresa is jealous. [She] thinks Caroline’s show’s going to be boring,” their insider dished.
We're a bit surprised ourselves that the coveted first Jersey spin-off would go to Caroline, but we're willing to give it a shot.

What is the real deal when it comes to reality television?
Radar Online recently reported that leaked text messages from “Real
Housewives of Orange County” star Vicki Gunvalson showed that certain
scenes on her hit Bravo series were planned ahead and faked for cameras.
According to the texts, Gunvalson’s daughter’s wedding was scripted,
not a spur-of-the-moment surprise captured by the cameras.
So is anything we see on so-called “reality TV” actually real?
“Reality television almost certainly has got to be staged to a
certain extent. The example of Vicki on, ‘The Real Housewives of Orange
County,’ that sort of is the poster child for the word ‘busted,’”
explained entertainment journalist Brad Barton.
“I mean if you flat-out talk about, ‘Well, we’re going to go and
shoot a sequence where I am surprised about…’ I mean, there you go. It’s
just done and one. I think what’s sort of telling in an article from
Radar Online, they quote her and I think one of the issues, that’s so
surprising here, is that she seems so outspoken about ‘this is all real,
this is real for me, this is my reality… This might be your reality, I
don’t doubt that you’re living this but that doesn’t mean it’s actually
real.”
But the “Real Housewives of Orange County” aren’t the only ones
staging scenes, speculated Valerie Greenberg, who runs
YouveBeenVALidated.com.
“Reality television is as staged as a Tony-winning Broadway
performance…The fact of the matter is people are using reality
television as a platform to catapult their careers and to achieve fame.
And, if that means acting out of the ordinary, they’ll do so to be
recognized,” Greenberg said.
But Barton said the real issue may be that the stars themselves don’t know what’s real anymore.
“I think what’s sort of telling is in an article from Radar Online,
they quote [Gunvalson], and I think one of the issues, that’s so
surprising here, is that she seems so outspoken about ‘this is all real,
this is real for me, this is my reality’… This might be your reality. I
don’t doubt that you’re living this, but that doesn’t mean it’s
actually real,” Barton said.
And if scenes are fabricated, should the viewers be made aware?
“I don’t know necessarily if a viewer is owed an explanation at the
beginning of a show. What you are seeing is real, is partly scripted or
partly re-enacted, or whatever for the sake of heightened drama and your
entertainment. I would hope in a way-- although that may not be
necessarily the case-- that a lot of consumers are educated enough when
they’re selecting their media to know that it’s kind of real and it’s
also a little flimsy and scripted perhaps,” Barton said.
Greenberg said she believes viewers know that “reality TV” doesn’t equal real.
“It’s very interesting because in reality competition shows like ‘Big
Brother,’ you can watch live feeds and you can actually see that the
contestants are being directed so if you follow those live bloggers and
feeds you see that for yourself,” she said. “I mean, I think that we’re
all smart enough to know that these are strategic settings that people
are in when you’re watching reality television.”
Still, for viewers who trust that reality shows aren’t scripted, is it up to stars to keep them in the dark?
“Well, [Gunvalson] did make a big deal about trying to defend the
reality of ‘Real Housewives.’ I don’t necessarily [know] if she should
have gone so strong in that direction… I almost wish she would have made
a statement that said ‘This is 65 percent real, and you can take
whatever you want for the rest of the 45 percent,’” Barton said.
Yet Greenberg said the reality star’s actions spoke louder than her words.
“The proof is in the pudding and I think Vicki Gunvalson, she’s good,
she should perhaps go the NeNe Leakes route and start acting,” she
said. “Perhaps Hollywood might work for her.”

Brandi Glanville had dinner with Lisa Vanderpump at her Beverly Hills restaurant Villa Blanca on Tuesday night, but the meal was anything but fun for the two former BFF’s who are no longer on speaking terms.
An eyewitness exclusively tells RadarOnline.com that the two women
purposely didn’t sit next to each other, barely spoke 10 words to each
other and the tension was so high between them, you could cut it with a
knife!
The pre-arranged dinner was part of a charity auction in which the lucky winner — who bid over $10,000 — won a “ultimate housewives experience” with Glanville, that included dinner at Villa Blanca with Vanderpump.
But as Radar exclusively reported last week, the one-time chummy Real Housewives of Beverly Hills pals got into an epic fight with each other while filming for the hit Bravo show in Puerto Rico.
“Brandi and Lisa looked really uncomfortable in each other’s presence,” the insider told Radar of their Tuesday night dinner.
“They put on smiles for the cameras, but it was all for show. You could cut the tension with a knife.”
According to the source, the two women were obligated to keep up
their end of the charity deal by attending dinner together, but it does
NOT mean they’re friends again, yet.
“Everything about that dinner looked really uncomfortable,” the source said.

To put a stripper's boob in your mouth, or not to put a stripper's boob in your mouth — that is the question. In our recap of Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Barney's wedding special — Tamra's OC Wedding Episode 1 — we
see Tamra and fiance Eddie argue about what happened with him and the
stripper. So put on your $6,000 shoes, grab some Gummi bears, and watch a
kangaroo boxing match!
Not a Fan of Flowers
The
episode begins with Tamra learning that the gorgeous St. Regis hotel
has an opening for her wedding, but it's only five weeks away. Gulp!
Tamra and her "man of honor" Ricky join wedding planner Diann on a tour
of the place, with Diann suggesting that they hire six harpists for the
ceremony. Uh, do you really need six? Are there even six different people who know how to play harp in this country?
Heather
meets with Heather to tell her she's a bridesmaid, and when Heather
hears the news, she seems thrilled but also a little shocked. Then,
Tamra and Vicki go on a cake tasting — for a $2,500 cake! — where
Vicki tells Tamra she'll "look like an ass" if she tries to say her
vows in Spanish. Tamra then tells Vicki that she's a bridesmaid, too.
Vicki shockingly does not say "woo hoo," but you know she was thinking about it.
Tamra
meets with wedding planner Diann again, and Diann is shocked that Tamra
has so few ideas for her own wedding. On a side note, we think a Gummi
bear cake sounds awesome, but that's just us. But all Tamra really knows
is that Diann shouldn't tell Eddie about the $6,000 shoes Tamra wants
to wear. We know what you're thinking: "$6,000 for shoes? What's the
catch?"
Eddie Isn't on Team Gretchen
Then, we see why
Tamra doesn't want Eddie to know about those shoes, since he nearly
passes out when he sees the extravagant invitations. When he learns that
the food will cost $100 a head — which cause another near-faint for Eddie — he tries to eliminate guests, namely Gretchen Rossi and Alexis Bellino. Tamra says she wants Gretchen there, but she admits that they aren't currently speaking.
Then,
it's time for Tamra, Eddie, and Eddie's hideous jacket to head join the
wedding party in Las Vegas. They party in their ridiculously spacious
hotel room, where Tamra tells Heather that her ex-husband Simon is
calling her a bad mother for leaving their kids with her mother.
Luckily, Heather is there to life her spirits. And we're sure the
"champs" doesn't help either.
During a swanky dinner where Tamra
admits to having watched kangaroos box after her first wedding (sounds
kind of awesome, no?), Eddie leaves the table when he hears more details
about Tamra's first bachelorette party with the other Housewives in
Mexico. Eddie feels like the details keep changing about what Tamra
actually did with those strippers.

It was the men of Miami who took center stage on the latest episode of "The Real Housewives of Miami."
Now usually, viewers can count on the women to cook up some reason to
be at each other's throats on a weekly basis, but this week it was their
men. At least the fight was about the women, so they were still
involved in some capacity from the beginning.
Adriana and Joanna's fiances, Frederic and Romain, got into a heated
argument about their ladies on Twitter, and then they ran into one
another at Alexia's magazine party. They quickly picked up in person
where they left off online.
“You re-Tweet something, you need to re-Tweet?" Romain accused. "Oh,
look at you, you guys must be so unhappy. Look at both of your faces.”
Alexia seemed okay with the fight erupting at her party. As she saw
it, "As long as [there are] no bottles flying all over the place or
there’s no blood, or there’s no hitting, I’m OK with it. It just gives
people another reason to talk about the party.”
Later, Adriana decided that she needed to be involved in the argument after all, so she accused Romain of cheating on Joanna with a Colombian girl. Rather than deny it right away, Romain told her to "shut the f*ck up!"
“Let’s talk about the Columbian girl. He’s sleeping around. He’s been
f***ing a Colombian girl!” Adriana said. What she didn't expect was
Joanna's response. She said, "Good, good. Good for him if he did.”
Buddy TV's Gina Pusateri sarcastically called the whole thing "pretty classy," while The Stir's Julie Ryan Evans admitted that she loved watching Adriana go "berserk."

NeNe Leakes is one proud Glam-ma! The Real Housewives of Atlanta star
recently took to Twitter to make a huge announcement about her
granddaughter, Bri'Asia: We've got a walker, people! NeNe's son, Bryson,
welcomed baby Bri' back in June of 2012, so the little tyke is about 14
months — right on schedule to start toddling around!
Newlywed NeNe tweeted an adorable picture of her pride and joy showing off her new moves.
Indeed, Bri'Asia is mid-stride and looking mighty happy with
herself. She's also wearing just about the cutest outfit we've ever seen
and her hair has gotten long enough for a ballerina topknot. Too cute!
NeNe's son may have made a lot of mistakes in his day, but his gorgeous daughter is definitely not one of them.
Here's hoping that we get to see Bri'Asia as a flower girl during NeNe's upcoming nuptials series, I Dream of NeNe: The Wedding, premiering on Tuesday, September 17.

Adrienne Maloof and Dr. Paul Nassif are putting their divorce behind them and focusing on their children.
"We recently reached an agreement on all outstanding issues
related to our divorce settlement and all pending litigation," they said
Thursday in a joint statement.
Almost a year after announcing the initial settlement in what started out as one of Hollywood's nastier divorces, the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
costars are "happy to be moving forward with our lives in a positive
way, not only individually, but as co-parents," they say. "This is a new
beginning for each of us."
"Our first priority is our children's
well-being and happiness," they add. "As their parents and advocates
that is our goal. Our children are our most important treasures and need
to be treated with the respect and privacy they deserve. … We
appreciate the good wishes we continue to receive from our supporters
around the world."
Nassif filed for legal separation from Maloof in July 2012 after more than a decade of marriage. The exes had since accused each other of various forms of abuse before coming to a truce in November 2012.

In 2010, Dina Manzo shocked fans when she walked away from "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" after just two seasons. On an episode of "Oprah: Where Are They Now?" airing Sunday, Manzo looks back at her decision to leave the show, saying the drama between cast mates left her "horrified."
In the above clip, Manzo says she knew from season one of
"Housewives" that she wanted out. "When I went home at the end of the
night and I was shaking instead of feeling inspired, I knew there was
something wrong," she says.
But at first, Manzo says, she enjoyed working on the show with her
family and friends. "At the very beginning of filming we had a lot of
fun," Manzo says. "Because they weren't sure what direction the show was
going into -- it was before the table flip happened."
The infamous furniture flip she's referring to occurred in season
one, when Teresa Giudice tried to flip over a dinner table during an
argument with cast mate Danielle Staub.
"That kind of sent the show into a different direction -- I think, the entire franchise into a different direction," Manzo says.
At the time, Manzo's daughter, Lexi, was a pre-teen. "I was with my
daughter and I was shaking and I kissed her on the head and I said,
'Don't be like any of us, including myself,'" Manzo says. "I just was so
horrified that my daughter saw that."
Manzo also talks about Giudice's federal fraud charges and her feud with estranged sister, "Housewife" Caroline Manzo, in the episode of "Oprah: Where Are They Now?" airing Sunday, Sept. 1, at 10 p.m. ET on OWN.

After being on The Real Housewives of Orange County for 8 seasons, we know a lot about Vicki Gunvalson. But, like any other person, we don't know everything about her.
In
an interview with Bravo, Vicki divulged some of her big secrets, and
you won't believe just how much she spilled about herself. But before
you go looking for anything crazy, Vicki kept it very chill and just let
us get to know her a bit better.
"I love to cook. I've got a lot of great recipes. A lot comes from my
family. We're German, so we like to eat a lot of sausage and
sauerkraut," Vicki revealed. "I love making pasta dishes and chicken
dishes. I'm a healthy cooker. I love Mediterranean. So you never know
what will be on the table."
To top it off, Vicki even said Donn
praised her for her abilities in the kitchen. "Don used to tell me that I
was the best cook ever," she said. "I was better than his mother, so I
guess that's a compliment, right?"
And while this may not come as
a total surprise, Vicki revealed: "I'm very domestic." But we didn't
know just how domestic she actually is. "I love to sew. I love to take
care of a nice home. All of my other family members are athletic, and
for some reason, I didn't get handed that card."
But that doesn't
keep Vicki from getting out there and having her fun doing athletic
things. "I love to snowmobile, I love to ski. I love to be out in the
warm weather than the winter weather, but I was born and raised in the
Chicago, Illinois area."
Wow, that's a lot we didn't know about
our favorite originals housewife. "i have a lot of talents, just, for
some reason, Bravo isn't showing them," she finished.

LeAnn Rimes and the producers of her upcoming reality show are slamming Brandi Glanville‘s claim she’d been asked to appear on the VH1 series, as exclusively reported on RadarOnline.com.
A source close to the production tells us exclusively it was Brandi’s people who made the approach, not the other way around.
“Brandi’s agent saw one of the producers of LeAnn
and Eddie’s show at an event recently and approached him about Brandi
being on the show. Of course, it’s not what LeAnn or Eddie want to do at
all, so they never responded to her formal approach. Not content, the
agent contacted VH1 a few days ago asking for $25,000 a show without
ever being solicited for it,” the source reveals.
The source claims that only when the producers didn’t respond did
Brandi start claiming they’d made her an offer she’d turned down.
“She can’t stand that Eddie and LeAnn haven’t responded, let alone
have no interest in her being on their show. I mean, why would they ever
in a million years have her on their show? She thinks she’s some big
draw. It’s crazy!”
As we previously reported, Brandi — famous for her very public feuding with Rimes — claimed she was asked to be on the upcoming so-called “scripted” reality show starring her ex-husband Eddie Cibrian and his country singer wife.
“I am laughing sooooooo hard at offer that just came into my agent,” The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star tweeted.
Saturday afternoon, LeAnn struck back, “I’m crying from laughing so hard,” she wrote. “Thank god for some nonsense on a sick day.”
