Kyle Richards Shocked By Adrienne Maloof's Divorce Drama: "There Was More Going On Than We Realized"

RadarOnline.com:
Despite having their lives play out together on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kyle Richards has admitted that even she was in the dark about the depth of costar Adrienne Maloof's marriage problems.

"They are getting divorced, that is really sad," she confirmed to Anderson Cooper on the latest episode of his talk show. "Paul (Nassif) and Adrienne are couple friends of Mauricio and mine, so it is very sad for us to see them split up like that."

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, the battle between the reality pair has gotten increasingly bitter as Adrienne has adamantly announced that her plastic surgeon hubby won't get his hands on her fortune.

While the estranged couple had often come to verbal blows on the show, Kyle revealed that she had never taken it seriously until recently.

"I think the arguing was a little too real. Clearly there was much more going on than we realized.

"We thought their bickering was just part of their little banter and kind of funny but obviously there were bigger problems than that," she told Cooper on Anderson Live, admitting that she was shocked when they officially split.

"I really felt like the audience felt, that it was just their thing and that was how they were. I was actually surprised."

When asked by the CNN anchor if she knew anything about recent photos of bruises to Adrienne's back and allegations of physical abuse, Richards looked uncomfortable but replied diplomatically.

"I have no idea…I have only seen them be good people so I have no idea what those photos were. I really do not know."

The controversial pictures were posted on Adrienne’s personal chef, Bernie Guzman’s Facebook page last month and he wrote: “Now you know….Everyone else needs to know. It's a secret I have kept….he must be stopped."
