In Touch can exclusively reveal that Kim will be back with a second season of her spinoff show Don't Be Tardy For the Wedding, which chronicled her Nov. 11 nuptials to hubby Kroy Bierrman.
The second season will have a name change, yet details of this have not yet been released.
While Kim says walking away from the show that made her a household name wasn’t easy, she's thrilled to be moving away from cast drama and focusing on a show about her family.
“It’s going to a fun, lighthearted show about our crazy everyday life,” says Kim tells In Touch. “My amazing husband is doing awesome in the NFL, we’re building a home, we have a teenager, a tween and two babies,” she says about daughters Brielle, 15, and Ariana, 10 (from a previous marriage), and her sons with Kroy: KJ, 17 months, and Kash, 3 months.
No premiere date has been set, but expect Kim to return in the Spring when Atlanta Housewives wraps.
I'm so happy for Kim, as you watch the seasons Kim just keeps on getting better every season. Yes at first she was a lot to handle and she was hilarious, sure she's changed but she's still so funny to watch. The women contradict themselves, they always call her a mistress, gold digger, drama queen, ect but then when Kim tries to stay away from the drama and distance herself from the people that bring negativity , they have a problem with that! She's damned if she does, damned if she doesn't! Glad she got the man and the baby!
