Chris Stilianessis Says Danielle Staub Used His Baby's Illness For Revenge

Chris Stilianessis has learned a lot about Danielle Staub from watching "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" this season.

Viewers will remember Stilianessis as the father who invited Danielle to a benefit for his baby daughter, who was fighting a rare cancer. As the previewsCaroline and Dina Manzo's family business, The Brownstone.

"For starters, I would tell Danielle thank you for bringing my daughter's illness to the table and to the 'Housewives of New Jersey,'" Stilianessis tells Zap2it. "However, I would also tell her that I'm very surprised that you would utilize my daughter's sickness for your own selfish reasons, to get back at the rest of the housewives."

Stilianessis, who didn't start watching the show until this season since he knew his daughter's benefit would be in it, was shocked to see Danielle had beef with the other housewives.

"I had no knowledge of Danielle's relationship [to the Manzos] prior to the fact," he says. "Because if I did, I would have asked her politely not to come."
for Monday's (May 31) episode show, Danielle creates havoc at the event held at cast mates
By now everyone in the state of New Jersey (much less the entire East coast) should know that inviting Danielle Staub anywhere is just asking for trouble.

No Takers For Bethenny Frankel's $100,000 First Baby Photos Offer

"Real Housewives of New York City" Bethenny Frankel isn't as popular as she thought she is. The reality show star had to give her baby's first photos up for free after no magazine was willing to pay the $100,000 price she set for them.

Page Six reports that the housewife demanded a hundred thousand dollars for the first pictures of Bryn Casey Hoppy, her weeks-old daughter. But it turns out she hasn't achieved celebrity status yet. No magazine was willing to take her offer at that steep price.

She ended up giving the photos for free to People magazine.

A source said, "Bethenny was asking for way too much. Some six-figure deals have been done recently for first pictures of Kourtney Kardashian's and Kendra Wilkinson's babies, and Bethenny wanted the same."
"But she found no takers."

Frankel replied to the news, saying, "Actually it was $100 million."

The new bride, who married beau Jason Hoppy in March, gave birth to their daughter on May 8.
Damn. Well if it's true it's certainly humiliating.

My New York: Countess LuAnn de Lesseps

It's hard to believe that Countess LuAnn de Lesseps, best known for her role on Bravo’s hit reality series “The Real Housewives of New York City,” which concludes for the season Thursday, moved to Manhattan just three years ago. “I have traveled the world and lived in some of the most breathtakingly beautiful places,” says the countess, “but nothing compares to the melting pot that is New York City.” The former Italian model turned philanthropist, socialite and etiquette expert — thanks to her book “Class With the Countess: How To Live With Elegance and Flair” — lives on the Upper West Side in a two-bedroom apartment overlooking the river. This is her New York.
1.Chez Josephine, 414 W. 42nd St., between Ninth and 10th avenues
“This is where I’ll have dinner with friends after a night at the theater. The food is amazing — especially the cassoulet and Chinese ravioli with goat cheese —and the walls are decorated with memorabilia of Josephine Baker. The bistro is owned by her adopted son Jean-Claude Baker, who is a great host and a fabulous piano player. He really captures that period of jazz.”

2. Catherine Malandrino, 652 Hudson St., between 13th and Gansevoort streets
“Catherine is a personal friend and an incredible designer who really understands women and how we should dress. Her clothes are feminine yet sexy, and I love that her boutique is organized by color.”

3.La Pomme, 37 W. 26th St., between Broadway and Sixth Avenue
“I love to dance, and this is my favorite place to dance in New York City. It’s incredibly chic with fun music, great Champagne cocktails and plenty of beautiful people.”

4.Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa, 691 Fifth Ave., between 54th and 55th streets
“When that big red door closes behind me, it’s my time for relaxation. No cellphone, no BlackBerry, nothing. This is where I go to relax and recharge. Something about this spa feels very classic and old New York to me.”

Damn, LuAnn's really running full throttle with this singing fix. Who does she think she is, Liza Minnelli?

Alex McCord: "Kelly Bensimon Worse In Person"

I appreciate Alex McCord much more now that she's shown us her "real" side. In the first season and a half of the Real Housewives of New York, I thought that she was too preposterous for words... now she's the voice of reason! Alex McCord spilled about Kelly Bensimon's crazy reveal on the show, and she said that it was even worse in person.

Alex said that she believes Kelly actually came off "better" than she did in reality.

"It was much more [crazy] in real life," Alex told Us, adding "much more crazy!"

If you missed it, last week's Real Housewives of New York was epic. During a sophisticated sit-down dinner, model and intellectual giant (scoff) Kelly Bensimon went on an unprovoked rampage, accusing Bethanny of trying to murder her in a dream and calling Alex a "vampire."

"I remember the first time that Kelly mentioned that she thought I was channeling the devil. It was in the middle of the soup course!" McCord told Us. "That wasn't the first time that had happened. Throughout the trip, it just came out of the blue."

Danielle Staub Talks Abusive Ex-Husband

The most-talked about subject on Real Housewives of New Jersey (besides "bubbies" and "chuckies") is the checkered past of housewife frenemy Danielle Staub. Staub's first husband Kevin Maher has said that Staub was involved in drugs, prostitution and extortion -- but now Staub tells Us Weekly that Maher did something much worse.

"I was severely abused," Staub, 47, says of Maher. "I was in fear for my life. I was visibly bruised, injured, scared and victimized."  The mother of two says that Maher, a private investigator and former
FBI informant, started abusing her after they married in 1988. "He was very possessive... I was hospitalized several times. There is no way to describe how it feels to not have a safe place to go... We are talking days and days in a row before he was exhausted, or ran out of drugs, whatever it was that he was on."

Staub describes this period of abuse in her memoir
The Naked Truth, which hits stores today. The book is partly a rebuttal to Maher's own 1995 biography Cop Without A Badge, which describes Staub as an unstable criminal, cocaine addict and stripper (a book which played a prominent role in the first season of Real Housewives of New Jersey). The exes' different versions of the truth have landed them in court: in October, Maher filed an anti-defamation lawsuit against his ex-wife, claiming that she lied to the media about how he terrorized her.

"I did hit her. It's true," Maher tells
Us, but says it was "in self defense." Wow. We wonder what the judge will have to say about that.
Really at this point can anyone believe anything that comes out of Danielle Staub's mouth?

RHONJ Recap: Danielle Staub vs. Everybody Drama Is Getting Tired

Yawn. More 4 vs, 1 drama. Danielle's still obsessed with getting in with people who clearly don't like her (mind you with good reason). I'm not even blaming the women, I just keep wondering how long RHONJ can keep people watching with the same storyline. Then too there's so much more Bravo could do with RHONJ to spice it up. For starters leave Teresa and Caroline alone. Teresa could have her own show with her and her family's antics. Same thing with the Manzo family (I love the sidebar with Lauren dating Albie's best friend). Jacqueline's got the mother/eldest daughter drama, but last season she was great playing the middle between Danielle and the rest of the women, yet now she's clearly taken sides and won't even take Danielle's calls (but hey she is married to a Manzo brother). This season Dina seems to be running solo: hubby still refuses to be on the show, cute little Lexi is away and what happened to all the charity work she used to do? Lastly, Danielle's just gotten desperate and it's sad to watch her continually beg to be in a group that wants nothing to do with her (plus, as we saw last week she does have her own friends so why does she want to be down the other women that badly?). If a show needed an extra cast member RHONJ would be it, someone to play the fence between Danielle and other women. Dina needs to open up, sure she remains great eye candy, but I don't think that viewers feel like they know Dina as well as the other women. I'd like to see more interaction between the Manzo siblings too.

Kelly Bensimon: 'I'm Not Proud' Of The Way I Acted

Kelly Bensimon wants to be clear about one thing. She's not crazy -- and that wasn't a nervous breakdown you saw on "The Real Housewives of New York City" Thursday, as she blew up at her costars during a trip to the Virgin Islands.

"It was a nervous breakthrough," Bensimon tells PEOPLE in an exclusive interview appearing in next week's issue.

"I learned don't do it. Don't be around people who don't like you. I will never engage them like that ever again. I learned my lesson, as should everyone."

The lesson involved comes as a result of what Bensimon, 42, calls the group's "systematic bullying" of her throughout the vacation, during which she and costars Ramona Singer, Alex McCord, Sonja Morgan and her former rival Bethenny Frankel were sequestered on a yacht.

"It was four people against one. I go on this trip, I'm trying to be open. I have no expectations. I'm trying to be nice to these women who clearly don't like me," Bensimon says. "But the minute I got on the trip, they went after me. It was constant."
Good to see Kelly's still pointing fingers and blaming everybody but herself for being a lunatic. And "four people against one"? Like that wasn't Sonja who tried to have your back throughout most of the "breakthrough"? And "nice" as in throwing a fit and calling Jill because 'evil' Bethenny tried to "kill you" by leaving that gift bag outside your door? Calling Alex all kind of names out of nowhere? Telling Ramona and several others to "Zip it!"? I guess that ex-boyfriend you punched in the face last year actually punched himself too, right? And what kind of mother, who puts her kids first, poses for Playboy anyway? Not only is Kelly certifiably nuts, but quite stupid...just own it already because no one's buying your B.S. excuses

'Real Housewives Of New York' Scores Series Top Ratings Mark

Bravo notched its most-watched episode of The Real Housewives of New York City on Thursday night.

The May 20 installment averaged 2.32 viewers, according to Nielsen data. The NBC Universal network also attracted 1.63 million adult 18-to-49 viewers, its most episode ever with the show among the demo most coveted by advertisers.

Season-to-date, The Real Housewives of New York City has registered a double-digit advance versus its sophomore season average among total viewers and is on pace to record its highest season ever among all key demos, said Bravo executives.

Moreover, the May 20 episode of Watch What Happens: Live delivered 1.33 million total viewers, and ranked as the series' second best in all key demos.
Uh oh, this mean that more Kelly breakdowns are on the horizon?

Teresa Giudice's "Skinny Italian" Is A New York Times Bestseller

Yes, a Real Housewife from New Jersey has a book on the New York Bestsellers list. Teresa Giudice – the one who famously flipped over a table at a dinner party screaming that another cast member was a “prostitution whore” – recently released her book that is apparently selling like hotcakes. And no, it’s not a tome about dinner party manners. She wrote a book about food called Skinny Italian. The mom of four posted on her Twitter account that her book made it to this coveted list. She wrote:
“OMG, OMG, OMG, I just heard “Skinny Italian” made the NYTimes Bestseller list!!! I am literally screaming and crying right now…”
“THANK YOU ALL SO VERY MUCH for the bottom of my heart. Truly, I appreciate your support so much! ♥♥♥ u all!!! I gotta go call my mom…”
Congrats to Teresa! Get her take on Kelly's epic breakdown HERE.

Danielle Staub: "I Wasn't A Prostitute, I Was Paid For Relationships"

I can’t really tell who you people care about in the Real Housewife world, so I’m sorry if you find this one boring. Real Housewife of New Jersey Danielle Staub has already been outed as a former hooker in league with some kind of major Miami coke dealer back in the 1980s (sidenote: rumor is that the coke dealer was part of the Medellín cartel). In 1986, Danielle, who then went by the name Beverly Merrill in life (her hooker name was “Angela Minelli”), was arrested on federal charges of extortion and cocaine possession. She had six kilos of coke! Anyway, long story short, she cut a deal with the prosecution, pleading guilty to the extortion charge and cooperating fully. If you want to read about her arrest and her plea deal, Gawker has a really good summary, including some of the old court documents.

Anyway, parts of this story came out on the first season of RHONJ, in a hilarious dinner scene. Something about a “prostitution whore”. So Danielle/Beverly/Angela wants to set the record straight. So she’s written a book about her adventures, The Naked Truth. People Magazine has some excerpts from the book, as well as a short interview. Here are some of the highlights:
On writing the book: “I don’t want acceptance anymore. It’s my journey, I wasn’t afraid to put it out there.”
On her 1986 arrest: “I was 20, I didn’t have morals!”
On the on-air confrontation: “Reliving it all was gut-wrenching. But it was also the most incredible rebirth. I am blessed to have survived.”
Book excerpt, on her sexual abuse at the hands of members of her adoptive family: “Sexual abuse entered my life I was extremely young. My bedroom door would open in the middle of the night, and in would come a relative or family friend - one of my abusers - who’d climb into bed with me and treat me with no regard.”
Star-f-cking: “I was young, hustling and doing quite well. I dated an Olympic athlete. I met Don Johnson in an elevator and we ended up kissing for what felt like ages. I was at a party and I met Prince. All I am going to say is that he was the best kisser out of all the celebrities I have ever been with.
On being a prostitute: A friend introduced her to a “call service” and she began going on dates for money. Until now she denied having been a call girl. “Was I going to admit it before I’d been paid to admit it? No. What I was doing was not illegal. On the other hand, soliciting sex is. I wasn’t a prostitute! I was paid to establish relationships. I ended up having physical relationships with two men. I was attracted to them and they were attracted to me.”
Any wonder her own daughter looked liked she wanted nothing to do with her in those model shoots? Damn that "PROSTITUTION WHORE-AH!"

DeShawn Snow Is Getting A Divorce

One of the former cast mates of the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” will soon be a housewife no more.

DeShawn Snow and her husband, former NBA player Eric Snow, are divorcing according to a report in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Eric Snow recently filed divorce papers in Fulton County Superior Court in Georgia stating that there is "no hope of reconciliation" for the pair who has been married for 12 years.  He requests joint custody of their three sons.

The family was featured on the first season of “RHOA” which included an episode about a less than successful charity event hosted by DeShawn Snow at their mansion.
Surprising and not surprising at the same time. DeShawn was a Christian woman who always came off as innocent, faithful and dedicated to her husband and children, but she could also be naive and totally clueless when it came to spending Eric's money too. Sad that after 12 years the Snow's are no more because even tho they were boring as hell they seemed to be good for each other.

RHONYC Recap: Kelly Bensimon's Nervous Breakdown

Wow, that was hard to watch, but then I guess the sad part is realizing that her resentment and jealousy of Bethenny runs that deep. I mean to make stuff up about Bethenny obsessively talking about you in the press (really, where's the smoking gun?), throwing a fit and crying after Bethenny did a nice deed in giving you a bag of Skinny-girl products with your initials on them, screaming at Ramona ("Honestly this isn't about you!"), the same person who invited you on the trip in the first place.

I always suspected that Kelly had some serious mental issues, perhaps bi-polar combined with some deep-seeded issues about being a jack-of-all-trades-but-master-of-none in addition to a marriage to renowned photographer breaking up (undoubtedly due to her mental instability), etc. I mean Bethenny is the epitome of everything Kelly most likely craves: happily married, new baby, successful career, author, chef, etc. and it just eats her up to the point where she's become totally delusional. Yes, it must be that Bethenny is trying to kill you....meanwhile someone needs to call Child Protective Services on this woman.

Jacqueline Laurita Had A Breast Reduction Too

Days after Real Housewives of New Jersey star Dina Manzo revealed her breast reduction to Life & Style, fellow castmate Jacqueline Laurita exclusively tells Life & Style she also took a little off the top!

"I got a breast lift and reduction," Jacqueline tells Life & Style. "I'm done having kids and wanted to fix them. They're still big!" But it's not just her boobs that have changed: The mom of two showed up to the season-two premiere sporting an altogether slimmer silhouette. "I do a little bit of the Bar Method," she says. "It's a lot of small movements that work really deep in your muscles. I swear it works!"
Birds of a feather . . .

Cynthia Bailey Told By Producers . . . Either Get Married . . . Or You're Fired

MediaTakeOut.com just got a hold of some VERY INTERESTING information. As we told you before, this year there will be TWO new housewives joining the cast.

Well according to one of our snitches, one of the new cast members, Cynthia Bailey (a former model and actor Leon's babys mother) is already on the verge of being FIRED!!! MediaTakeOut.com's insider explained, "Cynthia is boring, broke, and isn't married . . . If she gets married to [her current bf, photo'd above] she'll still be boring, but she won't be the other two."

Well will she get married . . . or WON'T SHE. MediaTakeOut.com's snitch claims that Bravo has already agreed to PAY FOR THE WEDDING if dude is interested. And so far, MediaTakeOut.com is hearing that my man is "considering it."

It is a dang shame when a reality show producer has to convince a man to marry you. Well . . . we hear that dude has a lot of paper so . . . good luck Cynthia . .. .

Considering the rumors that "Housewives" execs let DeShawn Snow go because she was too "boring", this certainly could be true. I don't know enough about Cynthia Bailey to care if she stays on the show or not tho.

Plastic Surgeons Praise Ramona Singer

In a recent episode of the Bravo reality-TV show “Real Housewives of New York,” Ramona Singer had had good advice for a friend who was planning to have liposuction, says the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
Accompanying her friend to the medical consultation, Singer asked the doctor:
  • If he had operating privileges at a hospital to perform the procedure in question.
  • What year he was board certified.
  • If he was a member of ASAPS.
The surgeons’ group “applauds Ms. Singer’s questions and suggests that other people considering plastic surgery ask the same questions during their consultations or bring along a friend who will.”
Tho it appeared that ditsy Sonja wasn't too concerned about the conversation herself, I too was impressed at how Ramona handled herself shaking down that plastic surgeon. That's the kind of friend you want accompanying you to the doctor's office.

Former Coke Dealer Wants Money From Danielle Staub

“I paid your debt so you could live. Please pay me my money.”
Daniel Aguilar’s message to Danielle Staub.

I spoke with Daniel Aguilar, Danielle Staub’s former co-conspirator in her 1986 Miami arrest on extortion and intent to distribute cocaine charges. The man Danielle Staub claims she didn’t have clue what Aguilar was up to in the “30 room mansion” she was arrested in 1986 in Miami. Danielle, who claims she was model, claimed she was at “the wrong place at the wrong time” and had “no idea” why she was arrested.

Amazing claims coming from a woman who, court documents show, entered into a plea bargain to testify against her co-conspirators in exchange for a sentence of five years probation and mandatory cocaine testing.

In case you might think Daniel Aguilar is some “scumbag” from Danielle’s “past”, trying to “cash in” on Danielle’s recent fame as a reality tv star on Real Housewives of New Jersey, Aguilar’s quiet life in Miami was shaken up last summer after being contacted out of the clear blue sky by Inside Edition after Danielle’s “past” was hinted at during the first season of Real Housewives of New Jersey and Danielle’s reaction to the book, “Cop Without a Badge”.
Need more reason why none of the other Jersey housewives want nothing to do with this woman? Listen, we all got a past where we did some things we regret, but if you really want to move on, just OWN up to what you did, make your amends with whoever (yunno, God, drug dealers, etc.) and live your life the best you can. It's just like Danielle to make things harder than they need to be.

Kelly Bensimon Blames "Editing" For Nasty Comments Toward Bethenny

However, Bensimon admits she doesn't relish when she responds to the drama of the moment by lashing out at her costars, like calling Bethenny Frankel a "ho-bag" or questioning the then-mom-to-be about her professional experience by sneering she was more of a cook than a chef. "I'm so incredibly embarrassed by my behavior," she said. "That I would let someone or some situation get to me...I am so horrified."

Bensimon continues to be friends with this season's villainess, Frankel's former BFF Jill Zarin. "It's an edited-for-television show," she said. "Each and everyone one of us works really, really hard to entertain you. For people to take it seriously, that really disturbs me."
So there you have it, that wasn't really Kelly the other night, just the show's producers conspiring to make her look bad by editing her. Yeah, right Kelly. Better yet, to quote Jay-Z: you need more people. Since that line probably went over her head, I'll explain it this way: none of the shows within the "Real Housewives" franchise is fake, what you see on screen is real-life drama and just about every star of the shows has attested to that. Sure shows get edited, they have to be in order to fit into an hour's worth of TV, but not edited to the point of making someone look like something they're not or creating drama like say "The Hills". Kelly you're a total space cadet, everyone on the planet thinks so, not just Bethenny. Just own it already, you'll be a better person for it.

Teresa Giudice: LuAnn Can't Sing!

You can always count on Teresa to give her two cents on whatever drama's lurking around and once again she doesn't disappoint:
This was, hands-down, the funniest episode of the season. Some of it –- like Bethenny’s one-liners -– were funny on purpose. And some of it –- like every single thing LuAnn did -– was unintentionally hilarious. Either way, I was laughing the whole time.

First, the things that weren’t funny on purpose — LuAnn’s singing career and LuAnn’s creepy date. I’m going to come right out and say it: LuAnn CANNOT sing. Like not at all.

I cringed when Kim Zolciak [from Atlanta] sang “Tardy for the Party,” but mad props to Kandi Burruss for making it actually sound good. The producer that LuAnn is working with must be deaf. (I looked that guy up online and he’s a big ball of crap; LuAnn is about the most famous person he’s ever worked with.)

Not only can LuAnn not sing a single note, the song is just terrible. Did she write it by reading lines out of her book? Remind me to do that with Skinny Italian. “1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil…” Just kidding!

Then we got to watch LuAnn go on a date with a guy who looks like the ugly love child of Carson Kressley from Queer Eye for the Straight Guy and that guy from Notting Hill. It was hilariously awkward, from his huge, fishy puckers to their cheesy conversation. I think LuAnn is a beautiful woman. She must be able to do better than this guy!
I honestly don't think Lu Ann's a bad singer (I've heard far worse, like Lady Gaga for example). Besides Auto-tune can do wonders for just about anybody these days and hey why hate on the Countess for finding a lane and reaping the benefits from it--isn't that reality-TV stars are supposed to do? As for new boyfriend "Court"?--yeah, definitely creepy.

Lu Ann de Lesseps Premieres New Single "Chic, C'est La Vie"

That first single "Money Can't Buy You Class" went platinum?!? Tell me it didn't. Puh-leeze. I'm literally in shock here.

RHONYC Recap: Kelly Bensimon Is Officially Out To Lunch

Ramona got it 100% right when she talked about how Kelly "harbors" resentment towards Bethenny, but who knew it ran so deep? I mean the outta-nowhere insults were flying all over the place last night, everything from the serious tone she took when Bethenny made the little quip about stomping the grapes to the "You're not a chef, you're a cook. It's creepy" line. The chick really has some insecure, crazy and obsessed issues with Bethenny. Of course, when Bethenny responded with "You are the most unintelligent human being I've ever had the pleasure of being around. Adios, lunatic!," was there really anything more to say? Guess there's plenty judging from the clips they showed from next week's episode.

Real Housewives of New Jersey Premiere Party

Real Housewives Of Orange County Casting For 6th Season

This just in: “The Real Housewives of Orange County,” the reality TV show many of you love (or love to hate), is casting for an unprecedented sixth season.

An ad posted on Craig’s List last night by Evolution Media, the company that produces “Real Housewives of O.C.,” calls for “outgoing, exciting, strong, focused women who reside in Orange County and want to share their lives with us.”

“We are looking for women who are ‘Housewives’ in the present-day sense,” the ad states. “They should be lively and energetic, with defined opinions and views. The women need to have busy lives, be involved with the community, have a strong work ethic and an active social calendar. Most of all, these women need to be enjoying the ‘good life.’ We love women who are self-confident and happy with whom [sic] they are.

“The women, their significant others and families must be open to sharing their experiences with the producers and the television audience.

“Please e-mail your: name, a bit about you, where you live, a current photo(s) and a contact phone number to mark.neal@evolutionusa.com.”
I'm guessing that as long as they keep bringing in decent ratings the "Housewives" franchise could go on forever.

Jill Zarin Blames Daughter For Bethenny Baby Blooper

The drama never seems to stop between Bethenny Frankel and Jill Zarin.

The latest over there in the land of the Real Housewives of New York City?

Zarin forgot to think before she twittered…

On Friday, the Internet was buzzing that Frankel had a baby boy after Zarin twittered a big congratulations to her former BFF on the birth of her and hottie hubby Jason Hoppy's son.

Problem is, Frankel hadn't given birth yet and when she did, on Saturday morning, their bundle of joy was a…girl!

Team Bethenny went ballistic, attacking Zarin for trying to steal Frankel's "thunder."

Zarin blamed her daughter for the big oops, explaining on Twitter that she "read a tweet and blog that Bethenny gave birth. We were excited and congratulated her. Obviously what I heard on the news and online was wrong."

Zarin has deleted the original congratulatory tweet from her Twitter page.
Damn, Jill's just been awful this season.

Bethenny Frankel Is A Mom!

Just in time for Mother's Day, Bethenny Frankel is a new mom!

The Real Housewives of New York City star and her husband Jason Hoppy welcomed a baby girl Saturday, her rep confirms to PEOPLE.

"Bethenny and Jason are proud to welcome their new baby girl, Bryn Hoppy, born at 8 a.m. . . . in New York City," the rep says. "She is a 4 lb. 12 oz., healthy baby. Bryn, mom, dad and [their dog] Cookie are all very happy."
You just know that somewhere Jill Zarin is seething that she wasn't first told about this news. Anyway, congratulations to Bethenny and Jason.

Bethenny Frankel Is In Labor!

Oh, baby! Real Housewife of New York City Bethenny Frankel is in labor, a source tells Life & Style.

“Her water broke at 12:46 a.m. She’s at the hospital now,” says a friend close to the reality star, who recently married entrepreneur Jason Hoppy.

Bethenny and baby are running a little ahead of schedule, as the mama-to-be’s due date was set for early June.

“I was at an age when I said, ‘You know what, if I get pregnant it will be a blessing,’” Bethenny told Life & Style at her bridal shower on March 21.

Bethenny and Jason tied the knot at the Four Seasons in NYC on March 28. The couple plan to be surprised with the sex of their newest addition, though Bethenny has her fingers crossed for a girl.

“I hope the way I’m carrying doesn’t mean I’m having a boy,” Bethenny told Life & Style.
Let's hope all goes well with the pregnancy and she has a healthy baby.

Dina Manzo Got A Breast Reduction

Dina Manzo, star of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, has gotten a breast reduction. Yes in a world where bigger boobs are popping up on celebrities right and left, Manzo has gone in the other direction.

According to the newest issue of Life & Style Weekly Dina recently underwent a breast reduction after suffering some serious back pain over the last 10 years because of her first boob job back in 2000. In fact this is actually her second breast reduction since getting implants. Apparently the first was a mere weeks after the boob job. Dina went from a 32DD to a 32C and I have to say she looks way better to me.

Manzo was born and raised in The Garden Sate of NJ so it is only fitting that she ended up on the reality TV show that focuses on the lives of women from the state she loves. She currently resides in Franklin Lakes, NJ. Dina has a beautiful teenage daughter Lexi with her ex-husband and is currently married to Tommy Manzo, who co-owns the event and catering facility The Brownstone, which is fancy place for events in NJ. The couple has been married since 2006. Their wedding was actually featured on that god awful show on VH1 called My Big Fat Obnoxious Wedding.

When she is not devoting her time to her family or the show Dina spends time at the non-profit organization Project Ladybug, which she founded. Project Ladybug is focused on helping children with cancer. Along with her non-profit work, Dina also owns and is a designer for the company Designer Affair which is an event planning company. Wow reality TV star, wife, mother and business woman, no wonder she is such a control freak who wants things done her way.

Well the Real Housewives of New Jersey star Dina Manzo may look different, you can see the before and after shots here but if the season premiere is any indication she hasn’t changed a bit, which is good for us fans.
Dina's a stunner no matter what size her boobs are.

Jill Zarin Caught Anonymously Boosting Her New Book On Amazon

A couple weeks ago, an Amazon reviewer named Alana Chandler—the No. 1 reviewer, according to Amazon, of new books on the site—left a one-star review for Secrets of a Jewish Mother, the new book by Real Housewives of New York City cast member Jill Zarin. "I wanted to find this warm and loving but it seemed more like a doctrine in many cases that isn't loving and could be detrimental on several levels," Chandler wrote in her 1,500-word-plus review. "Not to mention it's been widely reported that it's for show rather than actual advice the authors themselves believe."

Zarin asked me to leave a review for her book when I interviewed her for The Daily Beast a few weeks ago, just before it came out.

Three days after Chandler's review went up, an Amazon user named “Susan Saunders” left a comment on the review. Saunders wrote that Chandler was "a jealous person who likes to gang up on people." She continued: "I feel sorry for you but more for your cat." (Chandler's reviewer photo shows her with her dog.) "Someone needs to take your cat away from you and give it to a loving person. Jealous of Jill? You are just making her more famous and people are buying her book because it is a GREAT book about Jewish Mother's [sic]. You are ANTISEMITIC and it shows."

Saunders quickly deleted her comment, but not before someone took a screenshot and sent it to Zap2It.
Why so shy all of a sudden? Because other Amazon reviewers quickly figured out that "Saunders" was actually Zarin. It didn’t take much: The Amazon wish list for "Saunders" had items listed on it for Zarin’s husband Bobby and her daughter Ally. And Saunders also had the same birthday as Jill. From there, the review thread got ugly, with commenters accusing her of a range of crimes, from a lack of Internet savviness to being “pathetic.”

When contacted by The Daily Beast, Chandler said that "Saunders" had sent her a "threatening email" after her review went up. "It was her follow-up to the Susan Saunders threat to me on Amazon," said Chandler.

Zarin didn't respond to a request for comment from The Daily Beast, though she wrote a non-denial denial on her Facebook page: "Some crazy fans are saying I wrote my own review. I love the book, of course. People in my life have written wonderful things about the book. Some fans of the show need to find something else to do then write hateful things about me and my family. It is sad and I feel sorry for them. If you read the book and liked it, ...please write positive reviews. Thank you for all the support!"
Well, this season we've certainly seen a new side to Jill Zarin, after all only a "mean girl" would get all their panties all in a bunch going after someone who didn't like their book. Alana Chandler can only hope that Jill doesn't get her blacklisted from reviewing any more books in the future on Amazon.

New RHNY Jennifer Gilbert Interview

Zap2It.com:
Did you blink and miss the newest New York housewife? You're not alone!

Yes, "Real Housewives of New York" fans, the newest housewife Jennifer Gilbert made her debut last night, Thursday, April 29. She was the event planner that Jill hired for her holiday party.

Poor thing. When Sonja Morgan debuted in the last episode, the Red Sea parted, angels sang and Bravo inserted a segment introducing her. Jennifer? She didn't even get one of those title cards where she gets to pose while her family stands in the far background.

So, who's Jennifer Gilbert? She recently spoke to IVillage.com and our pals at LATimes.com. Here's what we gleaned:

* She has been married for seven years and she has three kids: A five-year-old daughter name Blaise and two-year-old twin sons Saxton and Grey.

* She owns Save the Date, an event planning company, and she's co-owner of Portamee, a baby-carrier producer.

* Now 41, Ernst & Young named her entrepreneur of the year when she was 29 years old.

* She had no relationship to any of the other housewives before Jill hired her to plan her holiday party.

* She's over the Bethenny - Jill feud and claims she doesn't belong to either team.

We fully expect the show to roll out the red carpet for her soon.
Damn, I didn't notice her either.
