Jill Zarin Wants To Quit ‘Real Housewives Of New York City’

It’s all up in the air. No one knows which of the The Real Housewives of New York City are staying or going, but Jill Zarin “told me that she doesn’t want to go back to the show,” Cooper Lawrence, host of the nationally syndicated Cooper Lawrence Radio Show, tells HollywoodLife.com!

“[Jill] said there were compelling reasons to not return,” explained Cooper, who spoke with Jill over the phone while Jill was at dinner with Millionaire Matchmaker Patti Stanger. “She wants to go on a spiritual journey!”

It sounds like Jill may be trying to run away from her problems, or at least one problem specifically — her co-star Bethenny Frankel! After all the fighting we’ve seen between the two ex-BFFs on season three, as well as her countless attempts to make amends with Bethenny only ending in refusals, it’s no surprise that Jill has had enough.
I think that Jill really is heartbroken over losing Bethenny's friendship this year, but Jill needs to confront the fact that her childish antics played a huge part in why it ended. Some could argue that Bethenny should stop holding a grudge and forgive the "mean Girl", but Bethenny's such a different person now with a new marriage, baby, TV show, etc., who needs the drama Jill creates? I'm of the opinion that RHONYC could survive without Jill, but I'd be lying if I said that she wouldn't be missed.

Teresa Giudice Goes Looking For Drama With Danielle

Really, when I first saw the clips for tonight's show last week, highlighted by the confrontation between Teresa and Danielle, I could've sworn that Danielle started the whole thing. But to see Teresa instigate a fight with the prostitute whore especially after all the crap she was talking about how people shouldn't be friends with her (as well as Jacqueline's warning not to talk to her) just made me lose some respect for her.

Are The Real Housewives Violating Child Labor Laws?

Watching the drama were Staub's noticeably alarmed daughters, then 11 and 15, whose mother had kept them in the room for the exchange.

New Jersey prohibits minors from appearing in entertainment productions dangerous to their "life, limb, health or morals." But the state could not say whether the "Housewives" series was subject to its child labor laws.

A public records investigation by The Times found that dozens of kids are appearing on reality programs without legal safeguards because of widespread uncertainty about how to classify the shows. In its examination of some of the most visible series featuring children under 16, The Times found that a majority had not obtained work permits to employ minors — including TLC's "19 Kids and Counting," WE tv's "Raising Sextuplets" and the entire "Real Housewives" franchise on Bravo.
Although I'm kind of shocked that no one's come out to get Danielle Staub's kids now that she has a porno out, I think that kids appearances on TV should be left up to the discretion of the parents.

SNEAK PEEK: Watch A Preview of The Real Housewives of DC!

Examiner.com:
DC is about to “Get Real” according to Bravo. Here’s your first look at The Real Housewives of DC which will make its debut on Thursday, August 5 at 11/10 central.

Bravo’s "Real Housewives" franchise goes to Washington to bring us a slice of life amongst intelligent, rich and busy women who are raising kids, driving careers and mixing it up with their friends and family with the “unwritten social rules of the Beltway.”

Viewers will get to know these women through a Washington DC lens and Bravo promises “a compelling combination of politics, society and race, as well as how the proximity to political power dictates where one fits within Beltway society.” Watch these DC “power players” navigate the most important events, galas, gallery openings and fundraisers in Washington society.

The cast includes: Mary Schmidt Amons, described by Bravo as “the true Washingtonian” and the granddaughter of radio and TV personality Arthur Godfrey. Lynda Erkiletian, “mother hen” and owner of D.C.’s top modeling agency. Catherine Ommanney, model, married to a White House photographer; model Michaele Salahi, the founder of D.C.’s America’s Polo Cup, but who most people know because of the White House state dinner incident last November; Stacie Scott Turner, Harvard graduate, active political fundraiser and philanthropist.

The Real Housewives of D.C. went into production shortly after the historic election and inauguration, reflecting D.C. almost as its own character in the series.

Danielle Staub Addresses Lesbian Rumors

If I'm Kim Zolciak I'm looking into lawyers to sue Danielle for copying my life story (oh wait, I don't think Kim has a sex tape out yet).

Michaele Salahi and Tareq Salahi Interviewed by Carol Joynt

No surprise on who will be the star of RHODC.

Danielle Staub Talks Dina Manzo Leaving The Show, Takes Shot At Teresa

Guess that scene where she brought thugs, who threatened people (and directed gay slurs at Caroline's teenage kid Christopher) while at Dina's charity event for that cancer-stricken baby earlier this season didn't happen. When people interview Danielle Staub they really need to do their research first just to call her out on all her lies. The woman is considered filth by 99% of the population for a reason.

Jill Zarin Talks Past Season Of RHONYC w/ Sister Lisa Wexler

Funny how almost every RHONYC cast member is talking as if they don't know if they'll be coming back.

Caroline Manzo Drops 20 Pounds

Real Housewives of New Jersey star Caroline Manzo is proving that you can still enjoy Italian food and lose weight in the process. The reality star showed up to the premiere of Grown Ups in a pair of skinny jeans, showing off her new figure and 20-pound weight loss. Caroline told People that her secret to losing weight has been eating less and keeping things lighter as the day goes on.
"I eat what I want. I just eat the bad things earlier on in the day . . . If I want pasta, I have it for lunch instead of for dinner. That’s all. If I want a piece of cheesecake, I have half instead of a whole."
Besides practicing portion control, Caroline has been spending time on the treadmill — at least least three times a week for 45 minutes. Caroline, 49, started to make these lifestyle changes in March because she was concerned with potential health issues.
When I was married, I was 92 lbs. I'm tiny. I’m only 5'1". And once I hit 40, I always say the wheels fell off. Now, I'll be 49 in August, so it's the time. Now I really have to start thinking about [my weight] because the metabolism is slowing down. And health issues could start kicking in now. So I just want to be aware of my body and start taking really good care of it."
Yeah, I was thinking that Caroline had actually lost too much weight this season, but if that's her normal size than more power to her because she looks great.

Dina Manzo Invited To RHONJ Reunion Show

Dina Manzo gave up her Real Housewife of New Jersey title for one very good reason – Danielle Staub. She said, “I tried. I’m done. I’m out.”  She wants nothing more than to stay away from her, for her and her family’s sake. “She’s dangerous. I’m not sure what she’s capable of.”  But as the wounds from the bitter relationship heal, Dina might just tear them right back open…

Dina was invited to partake in the always ultra dramatic and high octane reunion show. Dina tweeted that “Yes I’ve been invited to the reunion & yes I’m welcome to still blog. Torn~ I really want to be done w her. That won’t help make it go away. What do you guys think??”

She continued to say, “Maybe I should just show up at the reunion dressed like her weave & all & just sit there like nothings wrong…Now THAT would be funny.” But that would be a pretty impossible feat. She added that, “ahhh screw it, I’m sending @kathygriffin w a blonde wig in my place at the reunion. I have a feeling she could shut that Beyotch down.” Not a bad idea.
This is a no-brainer. If Dina truly left RHONJ because of Danielle then no way should she ever come back on as long as the prostitution-whore is still on the show. Then too, just how long is Bravo going to continue to put up with Danielle's dangerous antics, like hanging around with ex-convicts, threatening kids, etc.? Maybe the other Jersey Housewives should get together and call Bravo execs to the carpet on Staub's increasingly volatile behavior.

Will Elvira Grau Replace Dina On “The Real Housewives Of New Jersey”?

Now that Dina Manzo has come to her senses and run in the other direction from “The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” the show is down a cast member. Any minute now, Bravo will be replacing her. People has floated a few ideas for who could take her place. Perhaps Kim G, Danielle’s new friend, who’s been getting an awful lot of screen time lately for totally indulging Danielle in her crazy. Their other idea—Ashley, Jacqueline’s daughter who is constantly feuding with her mama. But it looks like the new housewife may be Elvira Grau.

Elvira has sassy blonde hair, apparently always wears sequins, and is kinda nuts. “I’m the crazy bitch,” she says, describing herself. Elvira is Teresa’s event planner who organized her housewarming party. Last episode, she invited Teresa to her house and the two had the frenemy-tastic exchange above where they pick each other apart and give all sorts of backhanded compliments. Grau has confirmed that she is getting an expanded role on the show, for at least five or six episodes, and that she’ll also be appearing on “Bethenny’s Getting Married.”
This is a surprise as I thought for sure that one of the two "Kim's" would replace Dina.I feel better about Elvira tho as she certainly seems capable of standing out on her own, plus let's face it Kim D. is an ugly drunk and Kim G. is a two-faced liar and just all-around creepy.

LuAnn de Lesseps Unsure Of Return To RHONYC

Last week, Dina Manzo announced that she’s done being on The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Bethenny Frankel is leaving her options open, telling PEOPLE recently, “I don’t see myself going back to The Real HousewivesCountess LuAnn de Lesseps says she is unsure about her future as a Housewife. the way the cast is now.” And now,

“We haven’t been asked back yet. So, you know, let’s see if the show is renewed for another season and then we’ll see,” de Lesseps, 45, told PEOPLE Tuesday at a party for New York Magazine‘s “Summer Fun” issue at Upstairs, the new rooftop area of Manhattan’s Kimberly Hotel. “I’m going to cross that bridge when I get to it.”

Unlike Frankel, though, de Lesseps says her return isn’t contingent upon cast changes. “I don’t have a problem with anyone on the show,” the Countess said.

In fact, de Lesseps is a fan of Frankel’s spin-off, Bethenny’s Getting Married? “I’ve seen it,” she said. “I think it’s great.”
LuAnn really irked me with her over-the-top, Team Jill theatrics in the first half of last season, but then I started coming around to liking her again as I watched her hilarious dating adventures, saw her turn out a hit single (admit it, we've all hummed "Money Can't Buy You Class" when nobody's looking) and watched as she finally came around to seeing Kelly for the crazy witch that she is. In other words I hope the Countess comes back.

Bethenny Frankel: Second Baby Could Be on the Way

Despite all the 'Real Housewives of New York' drama, Bethenny Frankel was all smiles -- and looking super fit -- Thursday evening at the Pampers with Dry Max "Dads on Diaper Duty" event in New York City. Frankel, who just gave birth on May 8, showed off her Skinny Girl body admitting she regained her 117-pound figure so quickly because she didn't overeat while pregnant.

Danielle Staub May Now Be A Lesbian, Performs New Single "Real Close"

Andy Cohen's self-indulgent train wreck, Watch What Happens Live, contained two surprises tonight. First, Real Housewife Danielle Staub performed her new single—a duet with Lori Michaels—and was... good? Then, Staub kinda/sorta/maybe came out as a lesbian. Videos inside.

First, here's Staub and Michaels' duet of the former's new single (seriously, how many more of these women are going to attempt singing careers?), called "Real Close." Shocker: maybe my standards are just low at this point, but Staub actually wasn't that bad. What say you?

It was the post-performance interview that contained the segment's biggest surprise, though, as—after a question from Cohen—Staub didn't deny that she and Michaels may be a couple. Which is to say, Staub didn't deny that she was a lesbian (I wonder what her male sex tape partner has to say about that).
Yunno, if Danielle Staub wants to beat Kim Zolciak in the "I have no shame so I'll do anything for fame even if it embarrasses my kids" game, then fine. But the question here is for all the real lesbians out there: do any of you have any standards? In other words I'd think some lesbo's would be offended by 'straight-for-pay' hetero's or what-have-you using them for some shine. I mean listen, Danielle Staub's a whore without a care in the world, why would any woman with self-respect want to take part in her twisted world? Or maybe Lori Michaels just has no self-respect. Ok, I think I just answered my own question.

Jill Zarin on "Showbiz Tonight", Talks Danielle Staub Sex Tape

Bethenny Frankel Threatens To Leave, Makes One Big Demand

Bethenny Frankel may be leaving The Real Housewives of New York City, People reports. One of the original members of the Bravo reality show, Frankel cites her fellow cast members as the reason she may walk away. “I don’t see myself going back to The Real Housewives the way that the cast is now,” she told People.

That’s a classy way of saying she can’t stand these ladies anymore. This season left the housewives divided, with Bethenny and her former best friend Jill Zarin becoming the central conflict of the show. After countless (not count-ess) attempts at reconciliation and a (grueling) three-part reunion special, things still seemed tense between the women. Should Bravo listen to Bethenny’s request for some changes? Or is The Real Housewives of New York City better off without her? Take our poll after the jump!
For Bravo execs this should be a no-brainer: get rid of Kelly. To risk losing the most popular 'Housewife' for a certified nutcase like Kelly Bensimon is just ass-backwards thinking. Kelly was the 'Housewife' most viewers wanted to see leave after season 1, now after season 2 we all just hate her. I can't see this being about anyone else but Kelly, as I'm sure that Bethenny could even put up with Jill for another season (as long she doesn't have to film much with her) and Sonja would make a great replacement for Kelly. Just be gone with Kelly already, maybe she could get her own show on PBS or something fighting the growing phenomenon of "systematic bullying".

Bethenny Frankel: Reality TV Is "Not Good" for Kelly's Health

On part two of The Real Housewives of New York reunion Monday, Kelly Bensimon lashed out at her castmates, claiming that she was a victim of "systematic bullying" on the show's third season.

Bethenny Frankel, who visited Us Weekly's New York office last week, says Bensimon, 42, is just trying to come up with excuses to justify her loopy onscreen antics.

"I really feel badly that she's trying to claw her way out of it with this 'bullying' thing," Frankel, 39, tells Us. "I honestly don't think this is the right place for her to be on television. I think she can't resist being on the show, but it's really not healthy for her. Frankly, if I'm not on the show again, thatll make it better for her because me being on the show again is certainly not good for her health. But I've never seen anything like it -- and I really did grow up in a crazy town."

Frankel suspects Bensimon "wants to be infamous, rather than thinking about what actually is going on with her."

Adds Frankel: "I mean, it gives her a lot of attention, but I would never want that kind of attention. I don't think it's healthy."

Benismon has told Us her job is to create "great TV."
Kelly is just an idiot. Really, I don't know how else to call it (when she out of nowhere responded with “Maybe she wanted to hear her voice?” after Jill was asked about why she kept Bethenny's "get a hobby" voicemail for two months, I just wanted to get up and throw my TV set at the wall). And running with this lame "systematic bullying" crap is going to get her in trouble from real experts who deal with that kind of stuff everyday, too bad she's just too dumb to see that.

It's Official: Dina Manzo Is Done With RHONJ

Dina is done: In what will be her last confessional, Dina recounts her relationship with Danielle, calls her "dangerous," and says, "I've tried. I'm done. I'm out." Dina decide to stop fliming to avoid further contact with Danielle, producers say in an endnote. "Her cats full support her decision."
Not shocked really. In season one, while Dina came off as nice most of the time (and we all adored her daughter Lexi), sometimes she came off as arrogant in an "I'm so above the drama" sort of way, which was weird considering that she the first NJ 'Housewive' to venture into reality-TV when she had her wedding filmed for "My Big Fat Fabulous Wedding" a few years back. In other words, Dina had a headstart in knowing what realty-TV was about so she certainly couldn't be too surprised at the need for drama to develop in order for t show to be a success. Then too, the fact that husband Tommy refused to appear on the show from the start was always strange to me. Granted Dina tried to be nicer this season and even gave Danielle a clean slate, but frankly speaking RHONJ wouldn't be half as popular without Danielle's antics, which I think Dina just couldn't take anymore (not because she was jealous, I just think she truly wants her life to be drama free). From her sessions with Zen Gen to Grandma Wrinkles to Lexi to all the work she does with charities, folks will miss seeing Dina, but at the end of the day I don't think she should've done RHONJ to begin with.

Bravo Announces 'Real Housewives Of D.C.' Cast

"The Real Housewives of D.C." will be debuting on Thursday, August 5 at 9 p.m. -- with Washington's favorite White House state dinner crasher Michaele Salahi on board as a "real housewife."

Bravo confirmed the start date which will be officially announced Tuesday.

"These connected D.C. power players all have their pulse on the most important cultural events, political galas, gallery openings, and fundraisers in Washington society," Bravo says.

Salahi, Bravo notes modestly, became the focus of media attention following the White House state dinner last November." She's also described as a "model" and "founder of D.C.'s America's Polo Cup."

Michaele's supporting cast includes:

* Mary Schmidt Amons: who Bravo describes as "the true Washingtonian and granddaughter of radio and TV personality Arthur Godfrey"

* Lynda Erkiletian: "the mother hen and owner of D.C.'s top modeling agency"

*Catherine Ommanney: a "feisty Brit" who Bravo says is "married to a White House photographer."

* Stacie Scott Turner: "Harvard grad, active political fund raiser."

Bravo says "The Real Housewives" franchise presents "a slice of life amongst affluent, educated women, some raising kids, some driving careers, all interacting with friends and family as determined by the unwritten social rules of the Beltway."
Meh. Other than Michaele Salahi doesn't seem like there's anyone to get excited about here. Bravo needs to diverisify more. I think a Miami 'Housewives' show would make for a great show.

Danielle Staub Puts House On The Market

Danielle Staub, the "Real Housewives of New Jersey" matron with the sex tape, had to put her Wayne mansion on the market as part of her ongoing divorce proceedings.

Coldwell Banker agent Bob Lindsay got the listing through the courts. The Tudor-style house, in the tony Horizon Heights section of Wayne, is more than 3,000 square feet, with a two-story entry foyer and mirror staircases, a billiard room with wet bar, a pool and cabana, a gym and the requisite in-house tanning room.

Earlier in the season of "Real Housewives," which was filmed last fall, Danielle was seen meeting with a real estate agent about putting the home on the market. During a tour of the 7 bedroom, 6 bath house, Danielle is filmed crowing over her bidet, but the agent is not so impressed and says the house needs work. But Danielle says she doesn't want to invest any money in the house because her ex-husband, who doesn't send his support checks on time, will reap the benefits.
Surprised she didn't wait to see if her thriving porno career took off.

Bethenny Getting Married?: Most-Watched Series Debut In Bravo History

Real Housewives star Bethenny Frankel's new spinoff became the most-watched series premiere in Bravo's history, according to the network.

More than 2 million viewers tuned in for Thursday's debut of Bethenny Getting Married?, with 1.35 million viewers in the 18-to-49 demo.

Bethenny Getting Married? follows natural foods chef and Real Housewives of New York City castmember Frankel's life as she gets ready to walk down the aisle and prepares for her first child.
Wow, you just know Jill and Kelly are going to have a collective fit when they hear about this news (sure LuAnn would be hating too, but at least she has a singing career to fall back on). I knew that Bethenny was the post popular 'Housewife', but the idea that she could carry her own show was still filled with intrigue as her wit and charm would seemingly work best when matched with the other 'Housewives'--then too, "Bethenny Getting Married?"'s ratings could just be a product of the reunion show (which also did really well) carry-in. Guess we'll just have to wait for the coming weeks to find out, but if Bethenny keeps this up there really wouldn't be any reason for her to come back to RHONYC...besides an extra paycheck.

Danielle Staub Won't Reveal Name Of Sex Tape Partner

TMZ has learned ... the lips of newly-minted sex tape/"Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Danielle Staub are sealed on the subject of her XXX partner -- we're sure much to his relief.

Sources close to Staub tell TMZ the 46-ish-year-old won't name the partner -- her boyfriend at the time.  We're told he signed off on the tape but wants to keep his identity under wraps.
Hey can't blame the guy, not too many john's out there like to be outed.

Teresa Giudice: 'My House Is Not For Sale'

Don’t get too excited, Real Housewives of New Jersey — and real estate — fans: Teresa Giudice‘s famous, $1.7 million home is not on the market, despite reports that she had listed it with a realtor.

“Huge news correction. I’m telling you guys first and directly…My House is not for sale,” Giudice, 38, Tweeted on Friday.

In a real estate posting that was widely circulated, the Towaco, N.J., mansion owned by Giudice and her husband Joe was reportedly listed for a profit — at $3.999 million.
Teresa and Danielle are most likely the 2 NJ Housewives we'll be seeing around for awhile because all that seems to matter to them is being talked about. Then too, give credit to Teresa because she really hasn't seemed to be bothered by all the attention her financial mess is getting. Now if only she'd do something with the big hair.

Alex McCord Clears Up Some Questions From RHONYC Reunion Show

Alex MCord did pretty good on last night’s Real Housewives of New York Reunion show. She stuck up for herself without breaking into hives!  The ladies went at each others throats as anticipated and it was drama, drama, and more drama. After filming for NINE whole hours, you can’t blame them for being even cattier than usual.

Alex weighs in on her blog and clears up some of the murkier discussions of the evening. The first issue at hand: Did LuAnne de Lesseps try and spark a  Team Jill vs  Team Bethenny war? LuAnne said no. Alex said yes.

‘From the beginning of the season, LuAnn and Jill had a ‘team” that they tried to recruit others to join – Jill on the phone Labor Day weekend and LuAnn asked me on camera at Ungaro in September which “team” I was on,” Alex says. “Ramona, Bethenny and I didn’t form a team with Sonja joining later. We didn’t make jackets; it’s not like we’re in the Pink Ladies. We just understood each other.”
I have to admit Alex did do really well on the first part of the reunion show. She really held it together, spoke in complete sentences without tearing up, stood up to Team Jill and eloquently made her points. Jill can insist that Alex and her were never friends all she wants (what? Alex is supposed to lose sleep over that like Jill is now that she's lost Bethenny?), but clearly Alex got the best of her on Monday.

Bethenny Frankel On "The View", Talks Losing Baby Weight, Disses Omarosa

Jill Zarin Talks "Housewives" Return

You'd think after being reduced to tears and stomping off the set of the Real Housewives of New York City reunion last night, Jill Zarin would want nothing more to do with the show.

But no. She tells me there's still more Housewives left in her. However, she would like to see some changes…

"I think a lot of things have to be discussed," Zarin said.

Like what?

"If it's just about fighting and angry mean girls and that's all it is about, that's not who I am," she explained.

"But Bravo hasn't asked me back yet, so I don't know what their plans are. So who knows?"
If Jill's going to continue pretending like she wasn't at the epicenter of all the drama this past season then like Danielle Staub, she really needs to get a clue. Jill knows she wants to come back and she knows how much she wants Bethenny back in her life, just admit you screwed up and we all can be happy campers.

Jacqueline Laurita Accuses Co-star Danielle Staub of Leaking Her Own Sex Tape

Never short on drama, the stars of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" are at it again.

Following reports that reality show villainess Danielle Staub is featured in an upcoming sex tape, co-star Jacqueline Laurita is accusing her former friend of leaking her own video scandal.

Laurita took to Twitter late Tuesday, writing, "Heard from a VERY reliable source that D released her OWN sex tape. Heard it's disgusting. Such disregard 4 her kids. I feel horrible 4 them."

Porn company Hustler, Inc. told UsMagazine.com that Staub is aware of the skin flick, which is slated to be released on June 14.
I'm with Jacqueline. Does Danielle ever think about her kids when she pulls her crazy stunts? Probably not. I mean, releasing a porno tape could get your kids taken away from you.

Jennifer Gilbert Settles Lawsuit

"Real Housewife of New Jersey" bad girl Danielle Staub reportedly has a sex tape about to be released, and last week "Real Housewife of New York" Sonja Morgan got busted for a DUI.

Now a newbie “New York Real Housewife” has joined the fray, settling a high-profile lawsuit with a matchmaking company.

Jennifer Gilbert was introduced on the hit Bravo show as Jill Zarin’s party planner. Earlier this year, Gilbert, principal of NY-based event consulting company “Save the Date,” filed a Trademark Infringement lawsuit against Hattie Grace Elliot, Founder & CEO of the high-end dating service “Save the Date(ing)”, which brings together singles to social events.

After two months of attorneys vigorously battling it out, Pop Tarts has learned that Elliot decided to settle out-of-court last week and re-brand her business “The Grace List,” because she says Gilbert’s financial means would have allowed her to drag the case out indefinitely.

“[Gilbert’s legal counsel] claimed I could not use the words 'save the date.' However, I was completely prepared to contest the lawsuit and argue that the phrase 'save the date' is a generic term used by all types of people and businesses,” Elliot said of the outcome. “I have complete faith that I would have won had the case gone to a jury trial, but only decided to settle due to the prohibitive costs involved in defending myself and my company in federal court.  I do not have the unlimited financial resources of Ms. Gilbert, who I understand has been quite successful in suing numerous small businesses.”
With Bethenny talking more and more about wanting to be out of RHONYC, wonder if Gilbert will replace her? 8 'Housewives' on one show is too much to keep both.

Bethenny Frankel Opens Up About Secret First Husband

'Real Housewives of New York' star Bethenny Frankel has opened up about how her recent wedding to Jason Hoppy was not her first. Just in time to promote her new show 'Bethenny Getting Married' Frankel has talked more about why she was also married in her 20's.

She has openly spoken of her many past engagements, but not much about the marriage.
From the Life & Style press release touting the exclusive:
When Bethenny Frankel married Jason Hoppy in March, it turns out it was actually her second wedding. Life & Style can exclusively reveal that the Real Housewives of New York City star wed her former best friend Peter Sussman in 1996 -- but the marriage fell apart after just eight months. Now, Bethenny opens up to Life & Style about her past with first husband, Peter.
"We were best friends for five years, and he always wanted to be more," says the natural-foods chef, who eventually accepted Peter's persistent advances. The pair dated for two years before saying "I do." Sadly, Bethenny realized that the relationship made her feel secure but was totally lacking in passion. "I felt like, 'This is really it? This is the person I'm going to spend the rest of my life with?'" she says. "You can't go to bed with a piece of 8-by-10 paper."
Now older and wiser, the self-made and independent Bethenny knows she wed Peter for the wrong reasons. "I loved him because of how much he loved me," she tells Life & Style. "I got married too young. I didn't wait for the great love of my life."
Wonder how soon Jason found out.

Real Housewives of New York City Reunion Sneak Peek

Dina Manzo Hints That She May Be Leaving RHONJ

Apparently one of the "Real Housewives of New Jersey" is leaving the show. People.com reports a promo during last night's episode said as much, although reality show promos are about as accurate as pre-Iraq War intelligence. (We didn't see it; we plead Tivo.)

Anyway, if we had to guess on which housewife would fly the coop, it would be Dina Manzo, who hinted to us last year that she wasn't sure she wanted to return, and who has made her disgust at certain elements of the production very clear in her Bravotv.com blog -- not just her feelings about Danielle Staub, but her horror that producers and her family members agreed to film last week's episode at a benefit at the Brownstone for a baby with cancer, even though Danielle was going to show up and did, in fact, make things mighty uncomfortable for everyone involved

In fact, in today's blog, she says of her confrontation with Danielle: "After seeing the crowd she rolls with and the fact that she will stop at nothing to get what she wants, I can honestly say that I do fear for my safety. I didn't sign on for this, as a result of this show, a horrific person is now in my life who I just can't seem to shake. I think I may have had enough. Watch what happens."
Yeah, I guess it'd make sense for Dina to leave RHONJ, she's never been into the drama and with her husband's refusal to go be the show as well as Lexi's scaled back appearances, do viewers really have much use for Dina anymore? I'd be sad to see Dina go, but If she's really worried about Danielle, wants to concentrate on her charity work and live in peace and harmony than more power to her.

Jill Zarin Getting Harassed And Threatened By Haters?!?

Over the weekend, Jill Zarin was forced to contact authorities after her family was "harassed and threatened" by haters after someone posted her address online and told people to send her threatening mail. The 'Real Housewives of New York City' star vented to her fans on Facebook -- upset about the ordeal.

"We are being harassed and threatened by a family from Chicago and Alabama. We have contacted authorities. I will block anyone who is linked to them per postal service law enforcement until they finish investigation. This is a serious crime and all evidence has been handed over. If you are involved in anyway. I suggest you stop. Enough is enough. It is NOT funny or a joke," Zarin wrote on her
official Facebook page.

The threats apparently came after a recently-aired episode of the Bravo reality show, as some viewers were angered by the way Zarin handled her drama with co-star Bethenny Frankel. On the finale of 'Housewives,' she and Frankel discuss their fight, which has become "totally berserk."

"What the hell happened to us?" she asks her pal over lunch. "I feel like we were married and then we separated, and I don't want to be separated."
Listen, while Jill was clearly the bad girl this season, none of the 'Housewives' deserves to be getting harassed or threatened (well, maybe Danielle), hopefully nothing more comes from this and Jill can continue to work on getting a new hobby in peace.

Greg Leakes Confirms Divorce From Nene Leakes, Says Fame Got To Nene's Head

He says he supported his wife as she sought fame and fortune by signing onto the Bravo reality show, but that she’s become someone else – and he wasn’t just talking about her new nose, apparently.

“I wanted to make sure that she jumped off in that show,” Greg Leakes told the radio interviewer. “We knew that if they made that show around her, you have got to blow up. I’m sucking everything I can into her. And she went and did her job. She blew up.”

Then the problems started.

“The thing got to her head,” he lamented.

A regular Twitter user, NeNe Leakes’ last couple of tweets suggest something is up.

“Devastated,” was the sum total of a recent post, followed by the more hopeful, “I’m covered,I’m not worried! God’s got my back!”

Danielle Staub In Sex Tape

Another "celebrity" sex tape is about to hit the market, and this time, the people distributing the footage claim the star is Danielle Staub from "Real Housewives of New Jersey."

Hustler Inc. tells TMZ it is all set to distribute a 75 minute tape, featuring Jersey's most hated Housewife -- and mother of two -- in a naked romp with a mystery man.

A rep from Hustler tells us the tape was shot last September -- several months after 47-year old Staub first appeared on the Bravo reality show.  The tape is set to be released on June 14.

A rep for Staub had no comment on the story.
Leave it to Danielle to help get Teresa's financial problems off the front page. But really, is anyone out there "shocked" by this latest scandal concerning the sleaze-fest that is Danielle Staub? Of course, I can't imagine anyone putting down their hard-earned money to see this prostitution whore getting boned, esp. what with $20 and a room at Motel 6 you could probably just get the real thing.

Teresa Giudice: Bankruptcy Is A 'Fresh Start'

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice is breaking her silence after it was discovered that she and her husband Joe filed for bankruptcy.

“While this is a personal matter, I realize that certain aspects of my private life will always be subject to scrutiny and distortion,” Giudice says in an exclusive statement to PEOPLE. “What is true is that due to the economy, most of my husband’s real estate ventures failed despite his hard work and effort. As a result, we looked to the Bankruptcy Court for a ‘fresh start.’”

Indeed court papers filed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Newark, N.J., show that Giudice, 38, and her husband filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy, which requires liquidation of assets in order to pay creditors, in October of last year.

Papers also show that the couple had to undergo credit counseling, and were awarded a temporary stay on payments for their Cadillac Escalade and mortgage payments for properties.

In the documents filed, the pair declared their personal assets, which include real property and personal property, as $2,261,150. But their liabilities — $8,709,831.34 — far exceeded that number.

In addition, the couple had to assess their monthly income. Combining Joe’s salary as owner of G&G Stucco and Stone Specialist in Clifton, N.J., with Teresa’s income from Bravo and “monthly assistance from family members,” that number totaled $16,583.33. Their expenditures, including their mortgage, food, clothing, dry cleaning, health insurance and other expenses, total $16,582.

The couple owes more than $33,000 on various store credit cards, $85,000 for home repairs and $91,000 for materials used to build their new home.

During the first season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Giudice, who famously flipped a table on the show, and her family moved into their $1.7 million mansion in Towaco, N.J. The reality star, who was often filmed treating her daughters to new clothing and expensive toys, was also depicted flashing stacks of cash while furnishing the house. And in a recent episode on the second season, she boasted of spending significant funds on her daughter Gia‘s spa birthday party.

“When people fall, the way to success is to get up and learn from our mistakes,” Giudice says. “We are in that process.”
See Dina? Not only were the rumors true, but It wasn't Danielle's fault.

The Real Housewives of New York City (SPOOF)

Proof on how popular the "Housewives" series' is, there are a lot of spoofs out there, unfortunately most just aren't funny. But when I do find one that is, I'll make note of it, like this one.

Dina Manzo Says Teresa Giudice's Bankruptcy Is Bull

Reports just broke Saturday (June 5) that "Real Housewives of New Jersey's" Teresa Giudice filed bankruptcy papers showing she was $11 million in debt. But, castmate Dina Manzo tells us exclusively that the news is B.S.

"I think I would know if she was in that kind of trouble," Dina tells Zap2it. "And I think it's all kind of fabricated by a hater out there."

There is very little that the reports leave up to the imagination. According to the news, Teresa and her husband make only $79,000 a year combined and receive $10,000 a month from relatives.

Additionally, the reports say that their $1.8 million mansion in Towaco, NJ and their Jersey Shore vacation home are being foreclosed on. The news outlets also state that the Giudices have defaulted on their Cadillac Escalade and they owe $12,000 to a fertility clinic.

"I don't think that any of that's true," says Dina. "I think that's just a hater out there, maybe getting some old [information]. I mean we all have debt here and there. I know my Neiman's bill would knock your eye out."
I'm sure Dina, Caroline and Jacqueline would love to pin Teresa's bankruptcy tales on Danielle, but so far the evidence points to total irresponsibility on the Giudice's part. During both season's viewers have seen Teresa spend money without a care in the world (with a recession going on at that), from shopping sprees for furniture to lavish birthday parties for her girls to moving into a house more fitted for Paris Hilton to numerous visits to hair and nail salons. etc. Most recently we saw her in the plastic surgeons office for her breast augmentation. All great entertainment, yes. Responsible behavior for someone in financial distress? No. Granted there's a gang of creditors and loan officers who deserve some of the blame here as well (any wonder New Jersey is in such a mess financially), but as much as they'd love to pin this one on someone else, it just doesn't seem likely.

Teresa Giudice In Debt For $11M

She has a gaudy new mansion, pricey breast implants and spends thousands of dollars on shopping sprees for her spoiled brats -- but a New Jersey reality star and her goombah hubby are real-life deadbeats who owe $11 million, court records show.

Free-spending "Real Housewives of New Jersey" diva Teresa Giudice and her husband, Joe, make just $79,000 a year and are up to their tanned necks in liens, foreclosures and unpaid bills, according to bankruptcy papers filed in Newark federal court.

The Giudices say they owe creditors $10,853,648.04.

Teresa, known for her lust for designer clothes and expensive bling on the Bravo show, owes nearly $20,000 on credit cards for Bloomingdale's, Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus. In total, the Giudices show $104,000 in debt on at least eight credit cards.

The bank has moved to foreclose on the Giudices' $1.8 million, 10,500-square-foot, eight-bedroom, 5½-bath marble-and-onyx manse in Towaco, NJ, the couple moved into during the first season.

Teresa and Joe defaulted on their $1,280-a-month payment for the family's ubiquitous black Cadillac Escalade. They also didn't have insurance on the massive SUV, according to GMAC.
Teresa -- who this season told Joe to get a vasectomy -- owes $12,000 to a Garden State fertility clinic.
Wow. I never paid too much attention to Teresa's spending habits, just figured Joe must be doing something right to keep up with living the high life. But damn this sounds really bad (of course, Danielle's just gotta be loving this news). Guess Teresa better get started on another "Skinny Italian" book and quit spoiling those kids.
