Kelly Bensimon wants to be clear about one thing. She's not crazy -- and that wasn't a nervous breakdown you saw on "The Real Housewives of New York City" Thursday, as she blew up at her costars during a trip to the Virgin Islands.
"It was a nervous breakthrough," Bensimon tells PEOPLE in an exclusive interview appearing in next week's issue.
"I learned don't do it. Don't be around people who don't like you. I will never engage them like that ever again. I learned my lesson, as should everyone."
The lesson involved comes as a result of what Bensimon, 42, calls the group's "systematic bullying" of her throughout the vacation, during which she and costars Ramona Singer, Alex McCord, Sonja Morgan and her former rival Bethenny Frankel were sequestered on a yacht.
"It was four people against one. I go on this trip, I'm trying to be open. I have no expectations. I'm trying to be nice to these women who clearly don't like me," Bensimon says. "But the minute I got on the trip, they went after me. It was constant."
Good to see Kelly's still pointing fingers and blaming everybody but herself for being a lunatic. And "four people against one"? Like that wasn't Sonja who tried to have your back throughout most of the "breakthrough"? And "nice" as in throwing a fit and calling Jill because 'evil' Bethenny tried to "kill you" by leaving that gift bag outside your door? Calling Alex all kind of names out of nowhere? Telling Ramona and several others to "Zip it!"? I guess that ex-boyfriend you punched in the face last year actually punched himself too, right? And what kind of mother, who puts her kids first, poses for Playboy anyway? Not only is Kelly certifiably nuts, but quite stupid...just own it already because no one's buying your B.S. excuses
Does anyone remember Andrea Yates? She was batshit crazy too. Anyone this paranoid, this delusional needs to be investigated by child protective services. She is in charge of helpless, dependent minor children! She is either crazy or on brain eating drugs. CPS should review all taping of that trip and protect those children from a CLEARLY unstable parent. Why is no one concerned?

I wanted to comment on another blog that I wanted her to get professional help before she ended up doing something like drowning her children!!! Seriously, those women should have been scared for their lives...instead of Kelly claiming that Bethenny was trying to kill her.
ReplyDeleteAnd what was she talking about people ganging up on her and "bullying" her? There was NO evidence of that at all on the show. Apart from Bethenny, everyone was being really nice to her despite her crazy behavior.
PS: Is anyone connecting the dots with her behavior in this scene with her arrest for assaulting her boyfriend?? Ya, she's clearly been crazy for a while...
ReplyDeleteWhat about verbally abusing a pregnant woman? She is the most insecure, unstable person I have ever seen. Andy stated several times NO YOU WERE NOT FORCED TO GO ON THIS TRIP. She must have PR people trying to spin this to her favor. That is an insult to the American audience who watched this unfold. She states 4 against one? Sonya was always calming her down and Kelly includes Sonya as abusive? NO WAY!!! Kelly should be tested for drugs, then investigated in her home for the safety of her daughters. Posing for playboy does not make her beautiful when between the ears is rotten!

Kelly is very much deranged,she instigated everything. She definitely lives on another planet. She flipped,she only hears what she wants to hear. How does giving someone a GIFT bag with lots of goodies the same as a death threat? She talks in riddles nothing makes any sense. She wrongly accused Bethenny of a smear campaign and that she threatened her kids. I hope Bethenny spoke to a lawyer as that was pure fabrication. As for Jill and Luann they didn't seem too bothered that Kelly behaved in that appalling manner. Can't believe Jill broke off a great friendship over being told to get a hobby when Ramona has said much worse. I think she was jealous that Bethenny had found love,her career was taking off and she was pregnant and didn't have much time to socialise with her friends. She listened too much of what Kelly was saying to her,slating Bethenny and making up lies about her. Kelly needs serious help. One more thing I am sure she definitely smacked her ex boyfriend,again Jill and Luann believed Kelly's side! Love The Housewives Bravo
