A violent encounter between cast mates on The Real Housewives of Miami is spilling over into a real-life legal drama, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively.
Joanna Krupa, who was punched by Adriana de Moura in a wild scene of the suddenly popular show, is now consulting with a top lawyer to find legal recourse against de Moura, a source close to the situation tells Radar.
"Joanna is not just going to take this," the source said. "She's reached out to one of Florida's most powerful attorneys to better understand her legal options after being punched in the face" on the show.
The beautiful star, who was also popular on Dancing with the Stars, has had to defend herself against others on the show, which has seen a surge in the ratings.
But the punch from de Moura, after a wild verbal argument, has moved beyond a ratings driver and is headed to a court room, the source claims.
"Not only did Adrianna punch her in the face, it took all of Joanna’s strength to hold on to Adrianna as she was trying to break free and grab a broom that Krupa believes she was going to hit her with," the source told Radar. "Joanna is very nervous about any other altercations with Adrianna and wants to know what her options are."
A lawsuit against de Moura is an option that is still in play, the source told Radar exclusively.
As Radar previously reported, tempers flared again on the show aired Sunday, with de Moura denying she hit Krupa, when confronted by the beauty.
"I never punched you in the face. Where are the bruises?" Adriana snapped. "Where are the bruises on your face?"
But Joanna says that's all nonsense, and she will protect herself physically and legally going forward.
"This isn't over," the source told Radar. "Not on the show and not off the set either."Put aside the fact that I'm not a fan of Bravo casting two sleazy, former Playboy "models" as "Real Housewives", I'm on Adriana's side when it comes to that punch. It was Joanna who butted her big head in that conversation Adriana was having with Karent and instigated the whole matter in the first place. Then when Adriana proceeded to take the high road and walk away from her, Joanna follows her screaming and ranting at her down the hallway. Clearly provoked and probably feeling threatened, damn skippy Adriana had a right to turn around and slap that ass.

ReplyDeleteJust because you walk away doesn't mean that you get a free pass to hit someone. Adriana de Moura walked away once, she could have walked away AGAIN. Even AFTER Joanna gently tugged her shoulder to turn her around. Adriana de Moura looked like a psychopath when she turned around, punched, then CHARGED AT JOANNA. Adriana needs help. One tug of a person's shoulder is not equal to 1. punch, 2. charge, and 3. attempt to assault with a weapon (the broomstick).
DeleteIt was an aggressive move to be tugged on a shoulder. Joanna shouldn't have provoked her. She was instigating something to happen. Bottom line Joanna is at fault for the situation escalating the way it did. Ariana isn't free from guilt, she is simply less so. Being put in a tense situation were someone is chasing after you, you have to defend yourself if you feel threatened. Ariana didn't know what the tug would of led to so she reacted in form of self defense.

ReplyDeleteAdriana did walk away and tried to avoid exactly what ended up happening. Joanna has a very bad temper and does not no when to back off she provoked the situation by involving herself in something that was none of her business. I feel Joanna put her hands on her first and in a escalated moment Adriana reacted, any lawyer that see's the taping will see that Joanna started the whole thing. Even her sister knows and her boyfriend that she is out of control. End of story!!!!

ReplyDeleteJoanna is a crack whore who has no legal rights in the matter. She clearly instigated the altercation. Adrianna and Karent were having a discussion and Joanna interrupted for no reason. As Adrianna is trying to avoid the argument any further she starts to exit and Joanna chases her down and from what I saw grabbed Adrianna. I would have socked her ass too. But Joanna remembers none of it because she was so damn drunk. Joanna needs several seats...

And Joanna is beautiful, but her drinking and her lack of control makes her very unappealing to watch when she's acting like a fool. It is on film Joanna caused this to go further then what it needed to. And more then likely this will go no where. Joanna needs to own up to her drunken stupidity that embarrassed herself, her boyfriend, and her sister she is not guiltless in this by far.

Imagine if you were in a heated argument and walking away from someone screaming behind you and all of a sudden you feel them grab you. You would have no idea of the person's intentions of grabbing you and naturally Adriana felt the need to defend herself.

It is a human to react when you are trying to flee a situation that is out of control or frighting. Adriana walked away it is seen in the footage that she did not want any part of Joanna drunkeness. Joanna is a drunk and a very mean one. That is why her boyfriend wants nothing to do with her when she drinks. It even shows him telling her not to drink out in public or parties. Look what Joanna did at his party when he became a citizen and celebrating his successful buisness. What did she do? She flipped out and was looking for a fight that night also. She continues to look for fights. Adriana is not jealous of her period there is nothing to be jealous of. I would not even want to have her around any party or any where that has drinks. It shows in the footage Adriana walking very quickly to get out of there next thing you see while her back is turned is being acosted Adriana did what any other human would do and REACT. DeleteYou can see that Joanna touched her I have it taped and Joanna provoked the whole thing and put her hand on Adriana first and Adriana in her defence reacted to Joanna pulling at her. Joanna should not have touched her in such a heated moment anyone could have responded that way. Adriana has the film to show that she was only defending herself and she did walk away, but Joanna followed her and wanted to continue to fight.

ReplyDeleteI believe Adriana was just defending herself. She was in an abusive marriage and that leaves scares. When she walked away and then was grabbed she did what she could to defend herself. Anyone who suffered from abuse does not react well to being grabbed during a confrintation. Especially when one is walking away and has their back to the one who is screamig and chasing them down drunk. Joanna should just apologize and take steps to make a change to better her life. She seems to be her own worst enemy and i hope that after watching herself on the show she works on changing that.
