Throw a group of incredibly wealthy, image conscious women together and you know you've got a recipe for drama.

So as The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills hit Hollywood for a night on the tiles - minus sixth member Kim Richards - it raised questions as to whether tensions are already starting to develop.

Dressed in their best, the women - Taylor Armstrong, Camille Grammer, Lisa Vanderpump, Adrienne Maloof and Kyle Richards (Kim's sister) dined at  Mr.Chow in Beverly Hills as they filmed scenes for the show, which starts airing in October.

They are the latest batch in the Real Housewives reality franchise, following on from the success of Orange County, New York, New Jersey, and Atlanta.

And of course the New Jersey Housewives are proof of just how nasty things can get, with Danielle Staub's acrimonious fallout with the other members.

But with a cast including Paris Hilton's aunts Kyle and Kim Richards, the Beverly Hill set could prove to be the most popular yet.

Ok, I have to confess that I actually remember Kim Richards from her acting days. I thought it one of those classic ABC After School Specials or something back in the day, but then I decided to google her and saw that her acting chops are pretty credible (who can forget her getting shot by that gangbanger with an ice cream cone in her hand in "Assault on Precinct 13"). She was pretty hot back in the day too!
