Ramona Singer Dishes on "New Girl" Joining "Real Housewives Of New York City"

USmagazine.com:
Which Manhattan socialite is brave enough to replace Bethenny Frankel on The Real Housewives of New York City?

Ramona Singer won't reveal the mystery woman's name (they begin filming Season 4 next week), but she promises viewers won't be disappointed.

"We have this new girl coming on. She is very happy with herself," Singer, 53, tells UsMagazine.com. "Not to say I'm not going to get pissed at her or have a fight with her about something -- that's just who I am sometimes! I can't help it. But it's better I tell it to your face then behind your back, right?"

And viewers who'll miss Frankel's candid commentary on the show don't have to worry: she'll be back for the new season, but only for "cameo appearances, just like I did on her show," says the Bravo star, who will debut her Ramona Singer HSN jewelry line on the network September 20 from 3-5 P.M.
"She isn't leaving totally," Singer tells Us. "We are intertwined in a sense. She proved to Bravo you don't have to have table-flipping to get ratings."
After the Jennifer Gilbert fiasco, I'm so not with there being any new members of RHONYC, but as long as it's not a friend of Crazy Kelly's (unless it's "good friend" Gwyneth Paltrow of course) I guess that I can keep an open mind.

  2. Last season attempted to add Jennifer Gilbert to RHONYC and it didn't work out as she was pretty boring and dividing time between 8 cast mates in one hour of TV is just too much for a "Housewives" show.
