The feisty, over-the-top spender on 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' landed a cookbook deal focusing solely on -- what else? -- Italian cuisine.
Teresa Giudice's upcoming book 'FABULICIOUS!: The Italian Family' will feature "easy, budget-friendly recipes that will please the whole family." The book is slated to be published by Running House and will hit store shelves in the Spring of 2011, according to Publishers Marketplace.
The inspiration for the book may have come from the fact that Teresa -- along with hubby Joe -- filed for bankruptcy in June. The couple admitted to being over $11 million in the red and may have learned a thing or two about cooking meals for an entire family that won't break the bank.
The couple apparently owe money on their $2.6 in mortgages on their three houses, $12,000 to a fertility clinic, and $20,000 on high end department stores like Bloomingdale's, Neiman Marcus and Nordstom. In addition, the couple apparently owe at least $104,000 to at least eight credit card companies.
Teresa's first cookbook titled, 'Skinny Italian: Eat It and Enjoy It Live La Bella Vita and Look Great, Too!" apparently landed on the NYT Paperback Advice bestsellers List, which automatically makes her a New York Times bestselling cookbook author.
