Kathy Wakile's Dessert Book Getting Cancelled By Her Publisher?

InTouchWeekly.com:
Is Kathy Wakile's dessert cookbook going to get cancelled?

The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member is reportedly worried that her cookbook, Indulge, might be cancelled by her publisher. Reportedly, the company is not happy with the news that Kathy is being downgraded to a "Friend of the Housewives" next season. That means she'll have less air time, which in turn means she won't have as many opportunities to promote her book on the show.

Kathy, who is RHONJ breakout star Teresa Giudice's cousin, quickly became known on the show for her gorgeous and tasty-looking desserts. One of her storylines on the show had the mom of two starting a catering business, and she also sold make-your-own-cannoli kits on QVC. However, her book isn't scheduled to come out until September.

If Kathy's book does get cancelled, it would be a huge embarrassment for the reality star, who failed to become as popular as some of her costars. Teresa's cookbook Skinny Italian was a huge hit, and she has penned several more, including one focused on grilling, since her initial success. The two relatives have butted heads on the show about food, with Kathy claiming that Teresa used a family recipe for pizelle cookies without proper credit.

One point in Kathy's favor: the book already has professional cover art and is listed on Amazon as available for pre-order. So far, that's a good sign that the book will come out as promised.

  1. I hope this isn't true. If you aren't evil or gay you don't get a following. Sad. I wish Kathy well. She is a lovely normal lady.
