Hollywoodscoop.com:
Great news for Real Housewives of New York City fans, despite contrary reports, Bethenny Frankel IS returning for the fourth season of the hit Bravo show.Well if this is true it's certainly a bit of a shocker, but at this point I could go either way on Bethenny coming back. Why? Because as much as I love Bethenny, I think that Sonja would've been a good enough replacement in that "sane, speaks what the audience is thinking" department and to be frank I'm just tired of Bethenny's seemingly ongoing reluctance to return to RHONYC. If one doesn't want to be a 'Housewife' anymore just say so and exit stage left, all the back-n-forth just gets redundant after a while and sometimes I think Bethenny feels that she's bigger than the show, which makes her ego seem out of control. On the flip side why is Bravo looking for a 7th Housewife anyway? Haven't they learned by now (i.e. Jennifer Gilbert) that there's just not enough screen time for than 6 women to share? Of course, if the "wealthy Hamptons housewife' replaces Kelly we'd all be happy, but other than that there's just no reason to look for more.
Sources close to Bethenny tell Hollyscoop exclusively, "She's been asked to return for the new season and negotiations are ongoing."
Bethenny's old bff Jill Zarin and her archenemy Kelly Bensimon will also return for some more drama. LuAnn de Lesseps, Alex McCord and Sonja Morgan are also returning for season four. And rumor has it that Bravo is also courting a "wealthy Hamptons housewife" for the new season.
Meanwhile, Bethenny's other hit show "Bethenny Getting Married?" has been renewed for a second season, because let's face it, everyone loves Bethenny.
Why no mention of Ramona? I'd like to see her instead of Krazy Kelly.
ReplyDelete"negotiations are ongoing" doesn't mean she's coming back, unless they're trying to add some drama by saying she won't be back for season 4 to the press, while no decision has actually been reached.
ReplyDeleteBut, she made an official announcement about it, didn't she?
