Cognacscorner Ferrarri Rally Interviews Dina Manzo
"Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills" Sneak Peek
LATimes.com:
Lest you think there’d ever be a “Real Housewives” hiatus in your life, think again! Bravo is taking viewers into the zany, palm tree-lined world of rich women ( or “woman,” if you’re Danielle Staub) in Beverly Hills. Vivian Ward, your strut down Rodeo Drive will now be considered child’s play. The network officially announced Wednesday the bevy of ladies of the newest edition to the franchise (but if you're a ShowTracker reader, you're already familiar with the names). Now Bravo just needs to go to Chicago or something to cover the midwest and they'll have the whole country on lock.
Meet “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”:
Taylor Armstrong: The Oklahoma native who now runs a consulting firm is having marriage troubles. But nonmarital bliss isn’t keeping her from throwing extravagant $50,000 birthday parties for her 4-year-old daughter.
Camille Grammer: Yep, she’s the soon to be ex-wife of actor Kelsey and she promises to not speak of her divorce. (Right!) Her hobbies, according to the news release, include “dancing, skiing, paddle boarding, tennis, hiking, and collecting rare first edition books, such as Pride and Prejudice, Works of Byron 1833, The Sound and the Fury, and the works of William Faulker and Roald Dahl.” (Oh, that Faulker, he's a rare treasure!) I guess having four nannies allows for a lot of reading time?
Lisa Vanderpump: D.C.’s Kat isn’t the only one with a British accent anymore! Vanderpump is a British designer and restaurant owner who moved to Beverly Hills five years ago. More important, she wears a lot of pink (a lot) and is slightly obsessed with her dog Giggy.
Kim Richards: This former “Disney Girl” appeared in films like “Escape to Witch Mountain” and "No Deposit, No Return.” We hear crickets. She’s also a mother of four … and an aunt to Paris Hilton. Enough said. Wait. We spoke too soon. She’s also the older sister to fellow housewife Kyle Richards.
Kyle Richards: She's also an aunt to Paris and Nicky Hilton — she must be if she believes “If you obey all the rules, you'll miss all the fun." And she’s also an “actress,” with credits that include “The Watcher in the Woods” and “Down to Earth.” Again with the crickets.
Adrienne Maloof: A resident of Beverly Hills for 15 years, she’s one of those Maloofs — the dynasty with an enterprise that includes the Sacramento Kings and the Palms Resort in Las Vegas. And it looks like the Albuquerque-raised housewife doesn’t have to go far to keep up her appearance; she’s married to prominent Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Paul Nassif. Oh, and she has three sons ages 7 and younger.
Bethenny Frankel Isn't Going Back To 'Real Housewives' Of New York City'
Zap2It.com:
Here we are once again, the game that occurs when the media begins reporting on who will or won't be returning for the next season of "Real Housewives." The latest whispers are that every cast member of "The Real Housewives of New York City" has been asked back except for Jen Gilbert (which isn't a surprise).
Despite Bethenny Frankel saying she won't be returning to "Real Housewives" on a media press call in July, recent reports say she was still in talks with Bravo to stay on with the franchise. Well, apparently all that has been put to rest. Frankel tells Us magazine officially that she won't be back.
"Last season was scary and painful," Frankel says. "It took all of the joy out of it."
While sources tell the magazine that the remaining cast members are scheduled to start filming Season 4 on September 20, Frankel seems as if she's way over it saying she didn't "see any reason to go back." Sources do tell the magazine that she will make appearances next season due to contractual obligations, but not as a regular cast member.
Yawn. When I don't see Bethenny in the opening intro to season 4 then I'll believe that she's not returning.
Teresa Giudice Answers The "Nephew" Question
From Teresa's Blog:
Danielle’s all about making a fresh start and not wanting people to talk about her past (and her skanky present), but then she starts in with my family. For the record, I said “Do not BRING up my family” not “break up” – she could never break up my family, but she does need to keep their names out of her mouth.I have to disagree with Caroline too: I have no respect for people who have sex for money and prostitution degrades women.
Of course I have a lot of wonderful family members and friends that are not shown on the show. It’s completely unacceptable for Danielle to drag them into the mud and lie about them.
I know I opened my home and my heart to the viewers and I’m so blessed you have let me. But my extended family – my aunts and cousins and in-laws – didn’t and they deserve their privacy. I would not answer anything about them because it’s nobody’s business, but since so many of you asked what Danielle said that made me so mad, I will tell you as best I can…
In April, my newest nephew was born off camera. (No, not Jacqueline’s baby; Jacq and I are not related.) And no he’s not sick. He’s perfect and beautiful and we’re blessed to have him in our lives. If you all remember, I was scheduled to do the live Bravo Chat Bubble for a Real Housewives of New York episode the night he was born, and I was at the hospital so long, I was late logging in. So, yes, of course I was at the hospital when he was born!
When we were talking about Danielle not even acknowledging the birth of Jacqueline’s new baby Nicholas – which is part of the show – Danielle jumped in and accused me of not acknowledging my own new nephew.
Did you see my face, how confused I was? At first, I had no idea what she was talking about because I WAS there and my 90,000 Twitter followers were kind of at the hospital with me that day too. But then I realized what she was saying – that she had been digging around my extended family and trying to find dirt on me and defame them. And I just had it. I will not stand for that (or sit still anyway).
It’s the same thing that happened at the Fashion Show. My life is complicated and stressful enough due to the bankruptcy and the ongoing legal issues we’re going through right now. If you’ve ever been in the legal system for anything, you know it’s painful, private and definitely not fun. I wish I could say more about my finances and address the inaccuracies in the press more clearly, but our case is still open, so I can’t. Then to have Danielle throw one of her little bombs at me about my house being in foreclosure (which for the love of all that is holy it is NOT!) let me know she was in my legal business as well. She needs to stay out of my private business. I’m not in hers. Never have been.
So to answer the question about why I talked about her sleeping with Steve after just meeting him and then screwing around with him at my Shore house in front of both mine and her daughters… that is connected to the show. In the first season, I gave her a chance. I invited her and her girls and her new boyfriend into my home, and she disrespected me and horrified me with her behavior. We all saw it. And then she lied about it.
Lied and lied and lied and then denied. Everyone always asks me what I was saying when I flipped the table last year. I know a lot of it was bleeped out, but here’s the answer: "You f----ed a guy in my Shore house!"
That’s what set me off. Completely and utterly disgusting.
The only other thing I have to say about part 1 is sorry Caroline, but I’m afraid I don’t agree with you about prostitutes. Call me old school, call me old fashioned, but I do have a problem with them. I think they do hurt more than just themselves. I’m not a big fan of whores – the prostitution, coke or skanky kind.
Who Is Teresa Giudice's Nephew?
It's the question the entire world is asking:
Who is Teresa Giudice's nephew and why did the mention of him cause her to blow up at Danielle Staub on last night's reunion episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey?"Tara" has been mentioned by a few commenters on this very blog, but I always had my doubts about Joe having a mistress because for starters Joe and Teresa's love for each other just seems really sincere to me and then too, with Teresa's now-infamous temper, I don't see her putting up with Joe cheating on her. Now Jacqueline has come out and denied it, but she's obviously biased and either way something must be up for Teresa to go nuts like that.
There are a lot of rumors floating around about who this "nephew" is, but–like most things on the internet–the majority of these claims are made up.
On Monday night, Teresa launched into Danielle (and pushed Andy Cohen!) when Danielle accused Teresa of not acknowledging her nephew. Teresa paused and then shot up from her seat and began hurling an awesome amount of obscenities at Staub.
There have been rumors circulating that the "nephew" that Danielle referenced was actually a love child between Joe Giudice and his sister-in-law. There was also a claim that the nephew was an illegitimate child and was involved with some alleged "criminal element" of Joe's family.
There is no actual evidence of the Giudices being involved with a criminal element (aside from Italian stereotyping) or of Joe carrying on an affair with his alleged sister-in-law. So where did these "nephew" claims come from? The Houston Chronicle did a recap of last night's reunion special and the writer speculated that these were the reasons behind Teresa's reaction:
Now, the Internet is totally clueless about what Danielle's even talking about. Twitter and Facebook are, of this writing, alight with inquiring minds desperate to know what this was all about. I will tell you that I do not know. I really have no idea at all. Really. This is merely speculative. REALLY REALLY SPECULATIVE, but I have two theories. Either someone in Teresa's family had a love child (which is probably more likely) or, and this is the sexier theory, Joe's family has some sort of criminal element and one of his less desirable family members had a baby to whom they'd rather not claim relation. But, again, I'm literally making that up.While the writer acknowledges that these are completely made-up theories some people in the internet took them seriously. Jacqueline later tweeted that there was no "love child" between Joe and his sister-in-law. From Jacqueline's Twitter:
No, there is no Tara or love child.Lol!Tamra from OC HW was out 2dinner w/us the night of accident, maybe that's the blond pple sawThe "Tara" Jacqueline references is the name of a mystery woman that random Twitter users have been speculating was Joe's mistress. Reality Tea said that they had received emails about Joe's affair with a mysterious "Tara G.," but there has been no evidence that Joe has been sleeping with this woman.

Dina Manzo Tells Us She’s Been Happier Than Ever Since Quitting ‘Real Housewives Of New Jersey!’
Hollywoodlife.com:
Listen, I'm happy that Dina's found so much "peace" in her life (she always seemed like the most reluctant 'Housewife' anyway) now, but when is Dina going to acknowledge that no one forced her into reality TV and she was the first 'Housewife' to get into it in the first place? I like Dina, but frankly speaking most 'Housewives' pretty much leave the scene (Hello Kimberly Bryant? Hello Jo De La Rosa?) once they're gone, yet it seems that considering how much we've heard about Dina's going-on's since she quit RHONJ, that she's missing the spotlight a lot more than what she's letting on.We had a heart-to-heart former Real Housewives of New Jersey star Dina, and she told us life is so much better now that she’s off the show!
Dina Manzo, 40, is finally back to her pre-fame self! We spoke to the former reality star Aug. 28 at the 2nd Annual Ferrari Hamptons Rally at the Hamptons’ super swanky Georgica Restaurant & Lounge, and she looked great! We told you first that Dina was thinking about leaving the show — and we were right! The former Bravo housewife revealed that she doesn’t miss the heated drama with Real Housewives villain Danielle Staub one bit!
“I’m totally getting back to myself,” she told HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “I was back to myself really the day after I stopped filming the show. It was a huge weight off my shoulders. I’m truly at peace … I meant what I said when I left. I was so happy except for that whole situation [with Danielle] I was like, ‘What am I doing? I don’t need this!’”
But she did comment on the recent rumors that Danielle won’t be back for a third season.
“We don’t even know if that’s true or not,” she said. “But if it is, it will be a different kind of show. It will probably be what I initially thought it would be … about a crazy family who likes to have fun.”
Andy Cohen Speaks On Tonight's New Jersey Housewives Reunion With "The Hollywood Reporter"
THR.com:
THR: In July 2009, THR reported that salary negotiations for the cast of "RHNY" prompted Bravo to recast certain housewives. Are these scenarios unavoidable?
Cohen: Look, ["Flipping Out" star] Jeff Lewis will e-mail me every week and say, "Oh, the ratings were great last night; I guess this means I get a raise." There have been situations when housewives have wanted to have frank talks about salary, and I say, "If you really want to have this conversation, let's have it." I have the benefit of knowing the research, knowing the ratings and knowing how much it costs to make every show. I give them my perspective.
THR: In the finale of MTV's "The Hills," producers suggested to viewers that the show was scripted. What response do you have for critics who say the same about "Housewives"?
Cohen: Whenever anyone wonders about whether these shows are real, I tell them, "If you were to tell me that Jeana [Keough] from 'Real Housewives of Orange County' was going to split from her husband while we were shooting, I wouldn't have believed you. You never know what road the show is going down.
THR: The most recent addition to the franchise, "Real Housewives of D.C.," premiered Aug. 5 with an extra tinge of scandal by adding White House party crasher Michaele Salahi to the cast -- who also recently accused "The View" co-host Whoopi Goldberg of assault. To what degree do you get involved with these incidents?
Cohen: We don't editorialize. If someone says on the show, "I'm the best mother in the world" and then the next scene you see her smoking a cigarette and blowing smoke in her daughter's face, that says it. We let viewers decide. What we're really involved in are the stories. We let them deal with their own stuff.
THR: During the reunion specials and on your talk show, it seems you aren't afraid to voice your own opinion of things.
Cohen: Any opinion I have usually reflects viewer opinion. During the "Real Housewives of New York" reunion, I was hammering Jill with questions because I knew fans weren't going to be happy until she responded. Surprisingly, it was [onscreen frenemy] Bethenny that came to her defense and said, "Why don't you just nail her to a stake and burn her?"
THR: Speaking of the reunion shows, it's almost a guarantee that one of your wives will storm off the set. Do producers have to coax them back on?
Cohen: Typically, they come back on their own accord. We had a situation with Danielle that viewers will see [tonight] where I had to talk her off the ledge, bring her back and negotiate with the other women.
Danielle Staub -- My Ex Is A Total Scumbag
TMZ.com:
Danielle Staub is going after her ex-husband with a vengeance -- claiming the guy is such a drug-abusing, violent, sexual deviant ... that his $5 million defamation lawsuit against Danielle should be thrown out of court.
Danielle just filed legal papers in L.A. County Superior Court -- in which she states that Kevin Maher has "no evidence" that Danielle ever made several controversial statements about him ... including accusations that Kevin killed her dog, forced her to play Russian Roulette ... and even raped her.
As we previously reported, Maher filed a lawsuit against the "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star -- claiming she did make the alleged statements ... and in doing so, she damaged his reputation to the tune of $5 million.
But Staub claims Maher has admitted to being such a scumbag in the past -- that even if she did make the statements, his reputation couldn't suffer any worse than it already has.
"Real Housewives Of New York" Want Snooki $$$
NYPost.com:
The "Real Housewives of New York City" won't sell out on the cheap. While the cast has been asked back for Season 4, they won't commit to Bravo unless they get "Jersey Shore"-style contracts.Ummm, everyone knows that the TV business is all about ratings and last time I checked "Jersey Shore" was pulling in some record numbers that RHONYC clearly hasn't. I'm not mad at the RHONYC women asking for a raise, but requesting "Snooki" money could really be pushing it.
"The ladies are upset because they are making a lot less than Snooki [who earns $30,000 per episode on MTV]. They've got a lot more to say," a source close to the Housewives told us.
An insider says the New York cast members -- including Jill Zarin, Kelly Bensimon and Alex McCord -- are making the same as their "Real Housewives of New Jersey" counterparts at around $4,000 an episode and "they have little choice but to pimp themselves out with side gigs to bump up their earnings."
"It's a full-time job without the full-time pay," a second source says. "That's why a reality star with any sense does a book line or jewelry line to support being on the show."
An insider says the Housewives are exploring other options before they re-sign.

Alexis Bellino Defaults On Home Loan, But Stays In House
OCRegister.com:
Jim and Alexis Bellino, last season's newest cast members of "The Real Housewives of Orange County," recently defaulted on a $4.6 million loan for their stately home on Circle Drive in Newport Beach.
According to documents obtained exclusively by The Orange County Register, the Bellinos failed to pay $83,856.92 since April 26 on their home loan, and faced the threat of foreclosure and having their home sold at public auction to the highest bidder.
However, the auction (or trustee sale), scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 25, never happened. The Bellinos modified the loan on their Newport Coast home, and never had to move out.
"Chase Bank has been great to work with on my modification," Jim Bellino said in an interview Friday. "The trustee sale has been canceled, and the modification has been agreed upon."
Since the housing market bubble burst, several "Real Housewives" have faced serious real estate conundrums. Original "housewife" Jeana Keough defaulted on her loan, faced foreclosure and got a loan modification, much like the Bellinos. Tamra Barney short sold her home for less than the Barneys purchased it.
Caroline Manzo Unsure She Will Return For Season 3 Of RHONJ
AHN.com:
The ladies of Franklin Lanes know how to create must-see TV for their hit Bravo show, “The Real Housewives of New Jersey.” Their over-the-top drama has given the network one of its highest-rated seasons of all the “Housewives” shows so far. Season one gave us a table-flipping, season two saw a hair weave get pulled out, but what’s in store for season three? Family matriarch and perhaps the most favorable cast member of the group, Caroline Manzo answers our questions.I know that Caroline seems to be self-conscious about her age as compared to the other 'Housewives', but I can't think of any other reason why she'd want to leave the show. I hope she chooses to stay as the loss of her whole fam would be a huge blow to RHONJ.
“The biggest surprise for season three? Good question. Is there a season three and will I be on it?” Manzo asks.
With unconfirmed rumors circulating the internet that resident villain Danielle Staub will not be returning for season three, can the show survive without their most-hated housewife that fans love to watch?
“Well we’ll just have to wait and see what Bravo has in mind for that one,” Manzo says. “Life with Bravo is like a box of chocolates,” she adds with a chuckle.
With Staub potentially out of the picture, what some would call the Garden State’s biggest embarrassment, mother-of-four Teresa Guidice, might be in the running for most disliked cast member with her recent bankruptcy scandal exposed and her lack of lady-like manners on full display for fans soon to see. A sneak peek at their two-part reunion show which is set to air this Monday, sees the women not only taking their claws out, but belting out one of the biggest primal-like screams reality television, or Andy Cohen for that matter, has ever witnessed.
Kandi Burruss New Single: "Leave You"
Essence.com:
Singer/songwriter Kandi Burruss of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" and formerly of Xscape debuts her new single "Leave You" -- exclusively on ESSENCE.com. Also, Kandi describes the inspiration behind the track...
Exclusive from Kandi, describing the inspiration behind the song:Hard to believe that Kandi, a longtime professional singer and songwriter, hasn't been more forward about expressing how she really feels about all these 'Housewives' wanting to be singers.
"Working on this album, I knew I wanted to get back in the studio with Jazze Pha, a long-term friend and great producer. He and the two co-writers of the song are very talented people who I feel really understand me as an artist.
"I went into the session wanting to record a real R&B song that took you back to my Xscape days. We were known for songs that felt good, had a great groove to them, and displayed strong vocals and hard hitting production. 'Leave You' -- in my opinion -- is my 2010 version of that.
"The song was not about a specific situation of mine but more my desire to create that record everyone can relate to. If someone is not doing the things they did to get you when they have you -- it is time to take that walk and leave!"
Teresa Giudice Shocked By Own Actions at ‘Housewives’ Taping
Hollywoodnews.com:
HollywoodNews.com: Teresa Giudice has shocked many fans during her stint on Bravo’s ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey,’ such as when she flipped a table, but even she is shocked by her behavior on the upcoming reunion show.
Two moments that shocked her in the preview clip include her yelling that she’s going to “pin down” Danielle Staub and shoving the host, Andy Cohen, out of her way, reports UsMagazine.com. “I didn’t mean to shove Andy … When I’m attacked, I attack back. I don’t like to be held back or touched,” Giudice explains about why she behaved the way she did.
And she isn’t the only ‘Housewife’ who was thrown off by the whole event. Caroline Manzo opened up that after taping the reunion she “could not compose a rational thought in [her] head for two days.”
Sounds like this year’s reunion show is going to be one to watch.

Charles Ommanney Talks "Real Housewives of D.C." & Divorce From Cat
NYTimes.com:
EARLIER this summer, as he stood alone in the lobby of Washington’s Mandarin Oriental hotel with a packed car parked out front, there was no one to say goodbye to Charles Ommanney despite a decade of life in the city. Six months earlier, he had a wife; two children; three dogs; a house in Chevy Chase, Md.; and a gaggle of cameras following him around. With all the talk about Cat possibly being a racist I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt early on, but last night's episode, what with how she handled herself at the Salahi's winery, proved that while she's no racist, she's definitely a bitch. That said, is anyone surprised that she's now getting divorced? If it's one-n-done for Cat Ommanney I don't think that anyone will miss her.
Every Thursday night, you can still see that earlier version of Charles Ommanney’s life, like a “Twilight Zone” episode in which, in a strange quirk of post-modernity, his previous life continues to play out in real time even as his current life runs in the opposite direction. That’s because Mr. Ommanney, on Bravo at least, is Cat Ommanney’s spouse on “The Real Housewives of D.C.”
“I haven’t seen it, but I’ve seen the previews and I made a promise to myself to not sit and watch my ex-wife,” Mr. Ommanney, sounding miserable, said by telephone from Miami. “It’s just too painful. I’ve got eight more weeks of hundreds of Facebook requests from people I don’t know. I’d almost like to go and live in Katmandu. I have very few regrets in my life, but this is the one.” Once, he points out, if you Googled “Ommanney,” you would have discovered three centuries of naval admirals going back to his great-great-great-grandfather. Now you find rumors about the marriage breakup and snarky tattling on the show.
LuAnn de Lesseps Talks New Crib & RHONYC
NewYorkSocialDiary.com:
The Countess LuAnn de Lesseps is a lot looser and more fun in real life than in “reality life” – at least the one depicted on her reality TV show “The Real Housewives of New York” but she’s nevertheless just born for this modern world of self-promotion, YouTube and celebrity. She’s a natural, effortlessly and expertly parrying our questions into good PR. Even when we asked her when someone last hurt her feelings, she deftly and instantly told a story about someone else whose feelings had been hurt, and the Countess (she does take the title seriously) had been hurt on her behalf – albeit genuinely. Her PR-perfect answers were genuine – she’s an optimist and not someone given to brooding, so in a sense, she can’t help being good at the promotion game. In a moment of hard-headedness, said flatly: “You do whatever it takes to survive when you want something.” She’s gorgeous-looking in a natural, unplasticized way, has that undeniable “star” quality. It also has to be noted here, she has a derrière so perfect it ought to be insured.
You’ve had a tough two years so does this apartment represent a new start?
This is a new start for me.
Do you believe in new starts? Are there such things?
I do. I believe that you can have a second life and a third life, if you’re lucky. You just have to move on. You just do it and only you can do it.
So you’re an optimist?
I am an optimist—and adventurous. I wouldn’t be on this reality show if I wasn’t adventurous.
How did you get on to the show?
I met Jill Zarin at a party … she walked up and said [does imitation of Jill Zarin] “Hi, I’m Jill Zarin!” and I was like, who the heck is that? I mean, with the red hair and the accent … I was like oh my God! But she has a big heart and she was a person I immediately liked. She wears her heart on her sleeve and I like that. She told me about this show … and at the time it was called “Manhattan Moms."
‘The Real Housewives of New Jersey’ Hit The Stage
WSJ.com:
On television they play themselves; onstage they have to memorize the script, and move on certain lines—blocking, that’s what it’s called, says reality star Lauren Manzo.
“The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” Teresa Giudice, Ashley Holmes, Jacqueline Laurita, Caroline Manzo and Lauren Manzo, appear in “My Big Gay Italian Wedding” for four days, September 1-4.
Dina Manzo, a former star of the TV show, met playwright Anthony Wilkinson years ago on a flight to Los Angeles (not first class). “There was a lot of turbulence, and I started having a panic attack, and she calmed me down,” says the writer.
It was Dina who encouraged Wilkinson to go for a longer run after seeing a one-night performance of his show in Staten Island in 2003.

Jacqueline Laurita: There Are Reasons We Hate Danielle
TVWatch.com:
Jacqueline Laurita realizes she may have come off as “bitter” and overly interested in the drama relating to costar — and former friend — Danielle Staub during the second season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, which ended Monday night. But she’s clear about one thing: there was a reason for the animosity.I'm glad to see that Jacqueline can admit that she too needs to put in some work when it comes to her relationship with her daughter, sometimes Jacqueline goes to far when she snaps at Ashley and forgets that her daughter's still a teenager. But then I have no problem with Ashley ripping out Danielle's hair so maybe I'm biased.
“Things were getting out of control,” Laurita tells PEOPLE. “There was other stuff going on that we didn’t talk about because it would draw too much attention to it. If we addressed the lies she was spreading, it [would] keep it going.”
In drama that played out on the show, Staub had engaged Laurita’s daughter, Ashley Holmes, 19, in an online war of words, before a physical altercation occurred last fall, during which Holmes pulled her hair. Staub pressed assault charges and Holmes was found guilty and had to pay a $189 fine.
But Laurita says there was even more drama going on behind the scenes. “If there was nothing going on we wouldn’t be so angry with her. Out of nowhere? Obviously something was being said and done to warrant that anger,” she says. “It was stuff she was saying about everybody. She had a mission to destroy people, but me getting angry is just fueling the fire.”
And though she says she “didn’t always like” how she came off during filming, Laurita says she’s ready to sign on for season 3. “I would do another season. It’s a chance for you to see yourself as others see you. It’s a growing, learning experience,” she says. “I’m hoping Ashley will see some of how she acts. I see it in myself. When I saw myself being bitter it bothered me.”
Jeana Keough To Star On New Reality TV Show "Thintervention with Jackie Warner"
OCRegister.com:
Jeana Keough, one of the original "Real Housewives of Orange County," will star on a new Bravo reality TV series, "Thintervention with Jackie Warner," starting at 10 p.m. Monday, Sept. 6.
According to bravotv.com and the NBC media site, Keough will be one of eight clients who participate in an intense "thintervention" with Warner, a well-known fitness trainer who had her own Bravo reality show, "Work Out." She owns Sky Sport and Spa, a gym and spa in Beverly Hills.
In the series, Warner will "kick butt and inspire drastic lifestyle changes for her overweight clients who are struggling to lose weight and get healthy for good," according to the press release for "Thintervention."
"Warner will push them to their limit at her gym and inspire them with intense workouts at amazing locations. Not sent to a weight loss camp or facility, instead Warner works with them in their real lives surrounded by the everyday distractions and stresses of family and work, making the chances for long-term success greater. Progress will be checked through group therapy and weekly weigh-ins. Warner will do whatever it takes to keep her clients on track -- even if it means surprise ambushes at their homes, work or when out socializing."
Keough, 54, is described as an ex-"Housewife" and former Playmate centerfold. (She was Playmate of the Month for the November 1980 issue of Playboy magazine.)
Her residence is listed as Orange County, and her weight loss goal is 25 pounds. Last time we checked, she's still a real estate agent, and she still lives in Coto de Caza.
Bethenny Frankel Talks Shopping
Momlogic.com:
Like most new moms, "Real Housewife of New York City" Bethenny Frankel has trouble getting out of her pajamas some days. At a recent breakfast hosted by Drugstore.com, she explained the alliance between herself and the website:
"I don't like transacting with other people," she said. "I don't want to leave the house. I like to look at all the prices and make sure I'm getting the best deal. Unless I have to come somewhere and be a person, I'm literally in bed in my pajamas, working from there. Drugstore.com is incredible, and it's a one-stop shop. Frankel took me on a tour of her Drugstore.com beauty and household picks for moms on the go. Among her faves? HUGE Ziploc bags, Pampers diapers and Seventh Generation laundry detergent. And talk about being a "regular" girl: She waxed poetic about the virtues of Metamucildrink anything, but I insisted we bring the Metamucil and the prune juice!" in frank, funny Frankel fashion. When it comes to beauty, she said she's "obsessed" with both exfoliating and "any kind of baby wipe." "Under my eyes, under the baby's butt, I wipe my hands ... I just want to wipe everything," she quipped. "I'm going to wipe each one of you before you leave here."
Danielle Staub Stalking Former Cast Mates
Perezhilton.com:
Things are getting much too REAL for the housewives! She may not admit it, but you just know Danielle's not happy about being fired from RHONJ.
With the season finale over and done with and the highly anticipated reunion show on the horizon, you would think that the drama on The Real Housewives of New Jersey is finally coming to a close…but you'd be dead wrong.
According to sources, Danielle Staub, resident crazy pants and prostitution whore of the Garden State, has reportedly been stalking the rest of the cast since the show has ended. We hear that she didn't take getting fired all too well and instead of moving on to something else, she is attempting to weasel herself back into the show.
The sources report that Danielle continually drives through Franklin Lakes, stopping her car in front of the other ladies' houses and just sitting. One source revealed that Danielle pulled up to Caroline Manzo's house with some other people in the car. She supposedly pulled up, pointed to the house, said something to her passengers and then sped off.
Um, creepy much?! (Or maybe she is just calling her energist?)

Danielle Staub to Face Off with Ex-Hubby Over $5 Million Lawsuit
TMZ.com:
Danielle Staub is in line for another epic sit-down -- this time the "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star will enter the same room as her ex-husband ... to try and settle a legal war involving accusations of rape, gunplay anddog murder.
It's all over a $5 million lawsuit filed by Danielle's ex Kevin Maher -- who claims Staub slandered him when she claimed Kevin once raped her on a bed of broken glass, forced her to play Russian Roulette, and also murdered her dog.
Now, a judge has ordered both Maher and Staub to attend a mediation hearing in the hopes that they can "facilitate a resolution of the case before it goes to trial."
Maher -- the subject of the now infamous book "Cop Without a Badge" -- tells TMZ, "I will listen to the mediator ... but if the results are not fair and reasonable, I look forward to my day in court when I can call [Danielle] out on her lies."
Bethenny Frankel Returning to Real Housewives of New York
Hollywoodscoop.com:
Great news for Real Housewives of New York City fans, despite contrary reports, Bethenny Frankel IS returning for the fourth season of the hit Bravo show.Well if this is true it's certainly a bit of a shocker, but at this point I could go either way on Bethenny coming back. Why? Because as much as I love Bethenny, I think that Sonja would've been a good enough replacement in that "sane, speaks what the audience is thinking" department and to be frank I'm just tired of Bethenny's seemingly ongoing reluctance to return to RHONYC. If one doesn't want to be a 'Housewife' anymore just say so and exit stage left, all the back-n-forth just gets redundant after a while and sometimes I think Bethenny feels that she's bigger than the show, which makes her ego seem out of control. On the flip side why is Bravo looking for a 7th Housewife anyway? Haven't they learned by now (i.e. Jennifer Gilbert) that there's just not enough screen time for than 6 women to share? Of course, if the "wealthy Hamptons housewife' replaces Kelly we'd all be happy, but other than that there's just no reason to look for more.
Sources close to Bethenny tell Hollyscoop exclusively, "She's been asked to return for the new season and negotiations are ongoing."
Bethenny's old bff Jill Zarin and her archenemy Kelly Bensimon will also return for some more drama. LuAnn de Lesseps, Alex McCord and Sonja Morgan are also returning for season four. And rumor has it that Bravo is also courting a "wealthy Hamptons housewife" for the new season.
Meanwhile, Bethenny's other hit show "Bethenny Getting Married?" has been renewed for a second season, because let's face it, everyone loves Bethenny.

Jill Zarin Signs Her New Book, But Takes Time To Shop In Miami
Miami.com:
Jill Zarin isn't shy about telling it like it is. So it's fitting the fiery cast member from the Real Housewives of New York City wrote a book packed with advice.Ummm, besides when she's sleeping or doing book signings, when isn't Jill shopping?
The Long Island, N.Y., native was in Coral Gables and Boca Raton over the weekend doing signings of Secrets of a Jewish Mother. Cowritten with her sister and mother, the self-helper doles out tips on dating, parenting and marriage (Classic: "Who said your husband has to know everything?")
Zarin is loving the Sunshine State, hanging out with BFF Carole Rome, wife of governor/senatorial candidate Charlie Crist, and shopping to her heart's content.
"Mayor Bloomberg won't be thrilled with me; I'm helping the Florida economy," said Zarin from the Theory store at Town Center in Boca. "I'm here getting my basics -- my black, my white, my gray. I'll drop a few grand, but I'll be done."
Zarin, 46, likely won't have too many wardrobe issues in the near future -- Season 4 of the hit Bravo show is in limbo, while frenemy Bethenny Frankel got her own spinoff, Bethenny Getting Married?
The two don't speak, but it sounds like they may eventually.
"Sadly, I haven't seen her baby yet but hopefully when the media goes way we'll be able to talk."
Caroline Manzo: I'm "Not Proud" Of My Showdown With Danielle
USmagazine.com:
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Caroline Manzo says she regrets calling Danielle Staub a "clown" and "garbage" during their fiery showdown on Monday's finale. While Caroline definitely let her anger get to her at the end there confronting Danielle, she kept her cool for the most part and I'm glad she told Danielle to her face what she and most of America thinks of her.
"I’m not proud of the names I called her; my remarks were cruel and childish," she writes on her Bravo TV blog. "But, that's my truth. Makes absolutely no sense but, it is what it is. I said what I said out of frustration and anger. I was speaking to someone who was looking me dead in the eye and lying to me. Not only that, there was absolutely no accountability on her part at all."
And though she regrets losing her "cool," Manzo, 49, says she's glad the incident is behind her. (Incidentally, she says she had "no idea" Staub had armed bodyguards outside the restaurant during the meeting.)
Catherine Ommanney Quits US After Claims Of Racism On Reality TV
ThisIsLondon.com:
I hate it when 'Housewives' blame the camera's for the way they're portrayed. I don't believe for a second that Catherine is racist, but does she do some inappropriate things? Yeah, like leaving Stacie's Aunt Frances' home without saying goodbye to Stacie was far worse than her comments on Tyra Banks (which I didn't have a problem with at all). And is she now gonna blame Bravo for her marriage breaking up too? 'Housewives' who blame "reality TV" for peopel not liking them really need to spend some time in the mirror. She is a 38-year-old London socialite who once claimed to have shared a passionate kiss with Prince Harry. But after moving to Washington DC to build a new life with her award-winning White HouseUS after falling foul of reality TV. photographer husband, Catherine Ommanney has found herself a figure of hate in the
The interior designer signed up to appear in The Real Housewives Of DC, the fifth instalment of a series which follows the lives of affluent housewives and professional women in America.
It was filmed last year and went on air this month, but Ms Ommanney complains she has been made to look like a “stuck-up cow” and a racist.

'Real Housewives of New Jersey' Finale Sneak Peek
Popwatch.com:
A few weeks ago, Bravo exec and Watch What Happens: Live host Andy Cohen took to his Twitter account to tease The Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion special: “We are wrapped in New Jersey. WOAH. Very unexpected stuff. I am pooped. #needmakersmark.” Although I almost always trust Andy’s fashion sense, taste in drinks, and love of cat fights, I’ve found the current season of RHONJ to be as tired as Danielle’s skin pre-surgery, no matter how much fun he has rehashing it on his late night show. I assumed the reunion would follow the typical Housewives formula (short dresses + crying = at least one person storming out), but after watching a sneak peek at next week’s reunion special (part one), consider me officially reinvested in this series. Check it out below:
It’s absolute mayhem, PopWatchers. Ever since the table flip of season one, Teresa has had some monster meltdowns, and “DO NOT BREAK UP MY FAMILY” will definitely be added to the list. Names are called, tears are shed, Danielle walks off set, Kim G. returns, and most shockingly, Teresa shoves Andy Cohen! Is this the craziest Real Housewives reunion yet? To whom is Jacqueline directing the question, “Do you think you got me pregnant?” What did Danielle pull out of her bag? (My guess is a dog, hair extensions, or a human head). What can possibly happen tonight that will be better than what’s in store next week? Will you be watching, PopWatchers? And honestly, can this series survive without Danielle Staub as its evil villain?
Phaedra Parks: Real Housewife, Lawyer, Cougar
TheHollywoodGossip.com:
THG has already introduced readers to Cynthis Bailey.I could be wrong, but from what I've read about Phaedra and Cynthia Bailey they both would seem to be a little too sophisticated for the "Housewives" series.
Now, it's time to meet the other woman that will debut as a cast member on The Real Housewives of Atlanta in October. Let's give it up for Phaedra Parks!
As the Managing Partner of The Parks Group, P.C., an Atlanta-based law firm, Parks has represented such celebrities as Jermaine Dupri and Bobby Brown. She likes to brag about the charities with which she's involved, but the main focus of her time on this Bravo series will be her marriage to Apollo Nida.
A younger man, Apollo is on parole for running an auto theft ring and has spent six years in prison for a pair of unrelated crimes.
Parks is knocked up with the couple's first child and a network press release says she "has thrown herself into planning the perfect southern baby shower." If that doesn't make for must-see viewing, we have no idea what does! **
Real Housewives Of New Jersey Finale Clip: Caroline Confronts Danielle
"There's guys here with guns"?!? Is there any wonder left why Bravo had to get rid of this lunatic? What, did she ever really think Caroline or any one of the other 'Housewives' would threaten her life? Is she that stupid? She's the one hanging around an ex-convict and yet we're supposed to believe she's the victim? Listen, Teresa instigated the hair-pulling incident earlier, but Danielle's pushed things too far with the alleged threats surrounding Dina's daughter, hanging out with mobsters, constantly talking sh-t about the Manzo's and all the other drama going on in her life. Enough's enough already, she had to go.
Teresa Giudice’s Possessions To Be Bought By Kim Granatell
Hollywoodnews.com:
As ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ star Teresa Giudice faces the reality that her possessions may all be sold at an auction, another housewife is preparing to purchase as many of them as possible.Starting to wonder if Bravo execs should be flattered or sickened at how desperate this woman is to be on one of their shows.
Kim Granatell, or Kim G., has revealed that she plans to head to the sale and “buy everything and resell it on eBay,” reports RadarOnline.com. She won’t be doing this just to make some money, but she plans to give the profit to the Emmanuel Cancer charity.
The auction was originally slated to take place on August 22nd, but now has been pushed back to October 3rd. Kim G. was originally introduced on the reality TV as a friend of Danielle Staub.

Lynda Erkiletian Threatens To Sue D.C. Blogger For Making Jokes About Her Modeling Agency
Mediabistro.com:
Apparently Linda Erkiletian can dish it out, but she certainly can't take it. Among all the housewives, she's got the most acid tongue of them all and repeatedly "worries" about Michaela Salahi's dangerously low weight.
Carol Joynt, a blogger who writes New York Social Diary, CarolJoynt.com and who hosts the popular Q & A Cafe, has issued an especially bizarre apology to Erkiletian, one of the beasts (er, "Real Housewives of D.C.").
There are 13 apologies in all.
Erkiletian threatened a lawsuit against Joynt because she made jokes in reference to her modeling agency. Another offense was reposting Richard Lawson's Gawker recap of the show. Also check out this recap.
FishbowlDC sought comment from Joynt, who met all the demands of Erkiletian's attorney. She even phoned Erkiletian to apologize verbally, but the housewife didn't take the call. "I am not in the market for lawsuits because I am half a house rich (the bank owning the other half) and entirely cash poor," Joynt said. "She has power and I don't. I don't mock housewives to make enemies. I mock housewives because I want to believe they are mocking themselves, and in on the joke. I was wrong and I apologize." (That's 14 apologies!)
Joynt cops to shame. After going to great lengths to apologize, apologize, apologize and apologize more, Joynt writes, "I feel shame and I am ashamed for the impact my joking words have had on Lynda Erkiletian, who is a leader in her industry and in this country for seeking to abolish human trafficking and has called upon the industry to alert models to the perils of street casting."Wow, just when I thought Lynda would become my favorite D.C. Housewife comes this, as much as she loves to talk shit about Michaele she really comes off as a hypocrite here.
‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ Not Allowed At Country Club
Hollywoodnews.com:
The ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ have officially been banned from a country club where they previously caused drama the night of a fashion show that led to one of the daughters being charge with assault.
The North Jersey Country Club has banned the reality TV women after a brawl broke out as seen on one of the episodes this season, reports RadarOnline.com. The establishment sent out an apology letter to members recently and noted that the women do not represent the standards upheld by the club.
Furthermore, the club feels that Bravo misled them as to what would be going on at the event. “The originally proposed function was quite common for a Club event … a release was signed by a representative of the Club, which took away our ability to have any legal recourse.” Now the club’s only retaliation is to keep the women far away.
The event ended with Danielle Staub having her hair pulled by Jacqueline Laurita’s daughter.

Jonathan Cheban With Caroline Manzo & Teresa Giudice At Katsuya Restaurant, Hollywood
Jonathan Cheban And Teresa Giudice, Caroline Manzo Of The Real Housewives From New Jersey At Katsuya Restaurant In Hollywood, California. U.S.A.
Alex McCord's RHODC Blog: Michaele Salahi Is A 'Walking Contradiction'
People.com:
After watching Thursday’s episode and opening a fresh bottle of red, I’m thinking of a Green Day song. It’s called “Walking Contradiction.” That would be Michaele this week. How can we reconcile the bubbly girl throwing her hair around in Paris, drinking Dom Perignon and shopping, with the girl who allowed her lawyer to hold a venue hostage over a birthday party?
I just don’t get it. Listen, in real life, the same as on reality TV, people sometimes compete to throw the best party at the best place with the most people and spend the most money. If you’re going to do that — fine, go for it. But you can’t have your cake and eat it too. You don’t get to have your attorney call a venue and insist on written proof stating that you don’t have to pay for the party, AND still be the host, AND walk around as Tareq apparently did, telling guests that he paid an arm and a leg for the evening. Not fair, not acceptable. I felt badly for Paul who was caught in the middle.
Cat complained to her husband that he wasn’t around enough, and they had an argument about swanning around. I was trying to listen, but I was giggling, because the phrase “swanning around” always makes me laugh. Perhaps because my husband lived in London for 13 years prior to moving to New York, and he says it too — though he is usually wearing something inspiring and waving his hands in the air at the time. It was sweet to see that Charles showed up at her book photo shoot, and then dressed her in leopard and took photos of her himself, as all good husbands should.

"Real Housewives Of Atlanta" Preview
For Hip Hop News & Entertainment at DimeWars.Com
This season looks like it's going to be really good, but I've had enough of Kim Zolciak's slutty ass--no matter if she's sleeping with married men or with women, that ho just has no standards.
DeShawn Snow Selling Home In Midst Of Divorce
Luxist.com:
The Real Estalker led me to the story of yet another house connected to Bravo's Real Housewives franchise. This home belonged to Eric and DeShawn Snow. DeShawn was one of the "Real Housewives of Atlanta" in the first season. Eric Snow is a former professional basketball player who played with the Seattle SuperSonics, Philadelphia 76ers and the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Snows are in the midst of a divorce which began when it was revealed that Snow was expecting a child with a woman other than his wife.MediaTakeOut has MORE.
This six-bedroom home in Alpharetta, Georgia was built by the Snows. They bought a 4.65 acre plot of land for $395,000 in 2005 in The Manor Golf and Country Club. Their home was finished in 2008 and measures over 10,000 square feet. It opens with a sweeping floating staircase that rises up to the second floor rooms. The huge windows in the formal living room has massive draperies. The home also has a formal dining room, family room, home theater and his and hers offices. The master bedroom has a raised sitting area, custom closets and a master bathroom with a fireplace.
The lower terrace level has a billiard room, card room, wine cellar, a full bar/family room, exercise facilities, and a hair salon. The backyard includes a children's playground with jungle gym, a basketball/sport court, and a large swimming pool. Two octagonal open air pavilions frame the swimming pool. One contains an outdoor kitchen and barbecue station, the other is near a spa and sitting area in front of an outdoor fireplace. This home is listed at $4.998 million.

Teresa Giudice Blames Bravo, Fame For Bankruptcy Woes
Popeater.com:
Teresa Giudice and her husband Joe owe creditors nearly $11 million in various debts, and the 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' star blames her fame for why she's still bankrupt.Teresa's crazy. Is she really saying that Bravo is to blame for her going on a $60,000 spending spree after filing for bankruptcy? And if Bravo and "fame" is so bad then why not do like Dina and quit? Talk about denial.
"If she wasn't on the show, this all would be much easier," a friend of Teresa's tells PopEater.
"Everything would be settled by now, but because she is now famous everyone is using the situation to get press for themselves and humiliate her and her family. It's honestly got to the point where she's not sure if she wants to come back for another season."
A few days ago, new evidence proved the couple went on a $60,000 shopping spree not long after they filed for bankruptcy.
Meet The New Women Joining 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta'
People.com:
They’re back!I'll give the new season of RHOA a chance, but I can't say that I'm too excited as I was a huge fan of Lisa Wu and have long grown of Nene's over-the-top theatrics and just general all-around rudeness.
Despite reports that Kim Zolciak and NeNe Leakes were going to be fired from The Real Housewives of Atlanta, the two frenemies will return for a third season of Bravo’s hit show. And while Lisa Wu Hartwell is out, there are two new Housewives joining the cast.
Cynthia Bailey and Phaedra Parks will make their debut when the series returns Oct. 4, Bravo announced Thursday, with plenty of drama to come. Get acquainted with Atlanta‘s new stars and then watch a preview of the upcoming season below.
Alabama-born Bailey, a model who worked the runways of Paris and Milan, risks losing her boyfriend of three years, Peter Thomas, after he issues her an ultimatum. She leans on NeNe, a close friend, as both struggle through relationship issues this season. Bailey’s career credits also include staring in a movie opposite Sandra Bernhardt and having a guest spot on The Cosby Show. She’s also mom to 10-year-old daughter Noelle.
Parks isn’t exactly greeted with open arms when she arrives on the Real Housewives scene. The entertainment attorney’s marriage to a younger husband, Apollo, sparks gossip because of his prison stint for a “white collar crime.” A self-proclaimed “Southerne Belle,” Parks is involved with multiple charities when she’s not running her Atlanta-based boutique law firm. This Housewife is also expecting her first child with Apollo.
As for the other ladies, they’re all continuing to pursue their various careers. NeNe scores a gig as an entertainment reporter for a local news station, Kim is focusing on music and so is Kandi, who’s struggling after the loss of her fiancé. Meanwhile, Sheree has a found a new passion — for acting.
