Sisters Caroline, Dina Manzo No Longer Speaking

One of the oldest sayings in the book is "blood is thicker than water:, so I'd like to think this news isn't true. But then too I was never a huge fan of Dina Manzo (she always came off as kind of arrogant, hypocritical and aloof) and knowing that Teresa and Dina are besties says a lot about Dina's real character and who she chooses to be friends with. It would also be fair to point out that Danielle Staub warned us all about Teresa's wicked ways a long time ago, but no one listened because...well, she's Danielle Staub:
No longer thick as thieves?

Sisters and former Real Housewives of New Jersey costars Caroline and Dina Manzo are no longer speaking -- and they have Teresa Giudice to thank.

On Sundays's reunion show, all eyes will indeed be on Giudice, 39, who has officially been iced out by her costars, one-time pal Caroline Manzo, Jacqueline Laurita, Giudice's cousin, Kathy Wakile and sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga.

"Teresa is a wolf in sheep's clothing," Manzo, 50, tells Us Weekly of Giudice, who slammed her former friend in her Fabulicious! cookbook, calling her "as Italian as the Olive Garden," and insulting her son, Christopher.

After spending much of Housewives' season 3 attempting to mend Giudice's longtime rift with her sister-in-law, Manzo realized Giudice had no intention of making nice. "It was all a charade," Manzo tells Us. "And we were all pawns in her horrible game."

As a result, Manzo says she behaved badly toward the Gorga family, without getting to know them first. When she got to know them and become friendly, Giudice flipped. "[A friendship] was not what Teresa wanted," she tells Us. "I welcomed the bad guys, so I became the bad guy."

"When it served her purpose, she was my friend," Manzo reasons of Giudice on Sunday's reunion.

And Giudice's behavior hasn't just affected Manzo's relationship with the Gorgas. On part one of the reunion, she reveals that her bond with her sister Dina, a Giudice ally, has officially broken down and that the pair no longer speak.

"[Teresa] is hurting people to bring herself up," Manzo fumes to Us, adding that she sees little chance of a reconciliation. "We all make mistakes and can be cruel and heartless in the things we say and do, but [Teresa's behavior] is different -- premeditated. To sit there and try to hurt someone…assault their character, it's unacceptable. I'm done."

  1. Quite honestly I am tired of Caroline's holier than though attitude. I dont think Teresa ever said from day one that she is a saint or on the come up of being the next Mother Teresa. The show is very crystal, Caroline doesnt have to paint a picture for us "idiot viewers". What I noticed was how phony Caroline is, because as much as she was "there" for Teresa, she was rolling her eyes and making passive aggressive snide remarks. Furthermore Dina is a grown ass woman Caroline needs to take some ownership and stop trying to make everyone out to be the "big bad wolf". Honestly I hope Teresa quits the show and gets her own, because none of these other wives are relevant enough to keep it going.

  2. This is going to backfire on Caroline. She, Melissa and Kathy are on an "I hate Teresa tour" hitting the talk and radio show circuit. 3 against one, Caroline looks like the bully ring-leader. This is going to blow up in her face, and I can't wait. She is purposely trying to destroy Teresa's livelyhood.

  4. Hope Teresa doesn't fall for it either. It seems she is taking the high road. Good for her!!! If I have to see Caroline roll her eyes one more time... Oh, and Teresa must be very persuasive if she can come between the "thick as thieves" Manzos. More BS!!! Caroline is throwing everything but the kitchen sink out to the public to turn people against Teresa.

  5. You guys are all as stupid as Teresa. She is one of the worst housewives ever. Hello! Her husband was arrested for drunk-driving and he's a slumlord. She mistakenly thinks she is the funniest, most beautiful, amazing person in the world. Their finances and their terrible kids are evidence of their terrible attitudes. As soon as this season started, it was obvious that Melissa and Kathy aren't the devils Teresa painted them to be. The only reason I never completely respected the Manzos until now was because they were friends with such low-lifes. Now that their eyes are open, I remember why I liked this show so much. Thank god Caroline has finally come around and thank god Jacqueline finally has the guts to call someone out. Dina just has to open her eyes. I hope that happens soon, because she was always the best.

    1. Teresa is in her own world, she is so clueless that its embarrassing! You ever notice how when she's telling her fat ass husband about something either between her & mellissa or any other housewife, the story is so ridiculous and so far from the truth that I think she actually believes it herself! She's an idiot

  8. Don't you see whats going on here? i can almost bet Andy Cohen went up to Caroline at the end of season 3 filming and said "you know we love you and your family, but ever since Danielle left you haven't been bringing anything to the table, your not bringing in the ratings and we would hate to have to let you go. Start stepping up the drama." Then season 3 finale happened, taped season 3 reunion after a huge blow up at Posche fashion show (the next night) so they're all pissed and ready to fight (which is why jacqueline stayed home) and basically at the end of the reunion we'll be wanting to see how the story unfolds with Caroline and Teresa. Caroline is only starting this fight to keep her job on the show. Teresa doesn't need the show anymore, she does it because she is a hard working woman, trying to correct mistakes her and her husband made. but Caroline lives for the show, because we don't all live in nj and won't get to hear her radio show. Teresa tweets all the time about appearances for her books, has 4 young daughters, NO HELP, and cooks dinner for her family, give her a break. The show makes villains out of people, and she is the newest one, but that doesn't mean she deserves the blame for Caroline and Dina's relationship. Caroline is just jealous Dina got to leave the show, get away from Danielle, go on to get a new show focused around her, while the show Caroline is still on is now focused on Teresa and not her. it's pretty easy to see Caroline is jealous and is in the wrong. Dina even tweeted today Teresa had nothing to do with why her and Caroline aren't speaking And as far as the relationships between Teresa and Melissa/Kathy go, it's none of Carolines business. She should stay out of it.

  9. Teresa is the one in the middle of lawsuits and bankruptcy. Caroline is doing just fine. She has a greater net worth than any other housewife of NJ. Caroline's not getting in the middle of anything, she's just expecting me out of the people in her life. For the same reason that she didn't want Danielle in her life, she has decided to kick Teresa out. Caroline doesn't give a crap what anyone thinks, and she wouldn't care what Andy thinks. She would never jeopardize her integrity for this show. Besides, she's NOT making stuff up. Teresa got herself in this position by being disrespectful and dishonest. Why would ANYONE be friends with someone who talks shit about their friends in a book, orchestrates set ups, and is totally dishonest and self-involved? I don't care how much you dislike Caroline, you can't deny that Teresa thinks extremely highly of herself, and is very stupid. I mean....really stupid. Right? She's probably the most stupid housewife of all the franchises. She can't even pronounce ingredients. Or cumin.....and that's from someone who's supposedly a "chef"....lol RIGHT.

Anyone with any sound judgment would have seen through Teresa in season 1. It's not that she's all of a sudden a villain now. I have never liked her, and I am SO glad that the rest of the world is catching up. It's just that now the other cast-members are finally calling her out.

  12. These idiots supporting Teresa are as stupid as she is.

If she pulled on me what she did to her friends and family in that cookbook, claiming that she was just being funny 'cause she's so much like Lucille Ball, I'd want her dead, too. Everyone seemed surprised by her cookbook, so I guess she didn't call Caroline, Christopher, Melissa, etc. and say "I'm putting something silly in my cookbook about you"

This season her ego and vanity, backbiting, making snide comments about Melissa, putting up with her jerk husband, forcing everyone to sit through her bathing suit display - worship me! worship me! - have all shown her to be a complete moron, dumb as a bag of hair and worth half of the value of such a dumbass item.

  13. They are all uneducated broads who like to fight and pretend they are better than what they are. Next season someone else will be fighting with someone else....it never ends.

  14. I must say I am totally shocked at Caroline - really this is all over comments Teresa made in her cook book about her being 1/16th Italian and about her son? I think Caroline has it wrong, her children are fair game as long as they are on the show, and I agree with Teresa - hiring young women to parade them around almost nude to make a success of a car wash business is pretty tacky to say the least. I noticed Caroline does not think Ashley is off limits to her comments. I really respected Caroline last season but I think she has some crazy notion that she is the NJHW boss or the one that sets the moral standards, parading around as if she is the holy one holding everyone around her accountable.

We all know Teresa is a hot head, and she keeps it real with every one but with the Joe's in her life. For them all bets are off, oh and her children.

I was totally disappointed tonight - I will never get how these grown uppity women are putting their business all out in the street and for what? A little bit of cash. I don’t believe this will not play out well for Caroline – her wings lost some luster tonight. She showed her real self and it isn’t pretty.

And Jacqueline, OMG, too afraid to face the music - please. She did not have any trouble screaming and cussing and calling out her daughter on National TV. Yet she cannot face Teresa! I don’t condone Ashley’s behavior but she was behaving like many of our young teens and adults. I thought Jacqueline was the adult? But I don’t think she behaved like the adult - I was totally ashamed of her and really - felt bad for Ashley. She is a mess because of her mother’s bad behavior. Wow what a mess and this is what we want to teach our children.

  15. I totally agree. Caroline is such a hypocrite. The way she acted on the show, rolling her eyes, making snide remarks is totally pathetic and immature. Considering that she has a radio show, giving people advise on family and relationship. She should practice what she preach. She can't even mend her relationship with her own sister, blaming other people for their conflict... Such a HYPOCRITE!!!! I am not saying that Theresa is a saint; she is a bitch all right but she is who she is.

  16. I am not going to watch this show anymore, and if they come out with a new "housewives" show, I wont even give it a chance! It used to be fun and interesting to see into the lives of women who appeared to have more than most of us, but it quickly turned ugly and that kind of "drama" is not entertaining at all for me. I think it was very sad to watch all four of them....including Andy Cohen....pick apart Teresa on the reunion show. Disgusting....and I never have been a total Teresa fan to begin with. I hated the show and that was it for me!

  17. I think that based on the poll results, Caroline's "wings" will be just fine. She never said it was a conflict...she just lost respect for Teresa. Who would respect Teresa after the way she acted this season, both in her book and toward her relatives? Sure, a stripjoint isn't that classy...but it had no place in that book. And Caroline could say a LOT of terrible things about Teresa's kids (everyone could, they're terrible), but she keeps her mouth shut. Caroline's kids are good people, and Teresa should leave them alone.

  18. I can't imagine why any grown woman would want to be on this show and air their dirty laundry. Does the show pay that much? None of these women have any dignity. I used to enjoy the show I'm done with it now. They are all nuts and nasty. I feel sorry for their kids.

  19. Remember God said you with out sin, cast the fist stone.... but on that show I do not agree with word throwing at one person which always comes......it is awful and should stop...word wipping is not a culture to enjoy or add to tv programming..

  20. Mr. Cohen didn't like the "F" word to be used. He said it was anti-semetic, but he had no problems laughing at the way "ITALIANS" speak. I guess it's OK for him to make generalizations and slurs, but say the "F" word and he becomes a martyr...

  21. This is so-o obvious - Teresa wants to continue on the show, so she has to make drama - damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead. She also wants her own cooking show, and since Dina's own show was a done deal, Teresa allied herself with Dina. As far as she's concerned, "it's just business, nothing personal"

  22. How anyone doesn't see past Caroline is beyond me. First of all, I am shocked no one has mentioned how she told Teresa she was finally taking her own advice from 2 years ago to get Tre out of her life. Really 2 years ago? Once I heard that, it rang a bell. I really think the ultimate reason this drama has escalated is bc of pure jealousy. It is clearly obvious that Teresa has been the most successful in past business ventures because of the show. All other NJ housewives, including Caroline, had failed ventures, ie. cookbooks, etc. Maybe getting Danielle kicked off the show boosted a new ego in Caroline and helped her demise a plan to get Teresa off as well. It doesn't hurt that she has her two little followers, Melissa and Jacqueline, that will do anything to please the "godmother" herself, join her on the hate train. Plus it isn't too hard for Melissa to join considering her and Teresa's tense relationship in the past. Anyway going back to my original point... Since Caroline has always protrayed herself as a morally strong individual, if she didn't like Teresa 2 years ago, why didn't she out her back then? Was it bc she was afraid doing so would ruin her chances of fame on the show bc of Teresa's countless fans? Or because being "friends" with Teresa would be a smart move for her on the show? Either way, it's purely fake and I am finally seeing through it. I am not a biased Teresa fan, actually was a huge Caroline fan bc she seemed the most normal, but now all I see is Mrs. Grinch. And for the record, I love how everyone is getting on Teresa's case about the book, when the entire season the Laurita, Wakile, Manzo (kids involved), & Melissa Gorga were bad mouthing Teresa, Joe, and her kids. I think the book was a good scapegoat to get everyone against Teresa. I will agree, it was a bad move on her part.
