NeNe Leakes Explains Why She Got A Prenup Prior To Remarriage To Husband Gregg

NeNe Leakes sat down with Andy Cohen for a no-holds-barred interview on Tuesday’s edition of Watch What Happens Live, where the recently re-married stunner opened up on the prenuptial agreement she and husband Gregg inked prior to exchanging vows this past June.

“You have to get a prenup, there’s nothing wrong with it — people look at it like it’s a bad thing, and it’s not a bad thing,” The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s biggest star told Cohen. “It is a smart thing.”

The Glee star appeared alongside Robin Thicke‘s wife Paula Patton, who chimed in that the prenup was also a useful tool for keeping your man in check.

NeNe disagreed some, saying the prenup was “not necessarily [to] keep him in check, because I wouldn’t want him to not have if I wasn’t with him.”

Calling Gregg “smart” and “successful,” NeNe said the purpose of the legal pact was “to lay things out in case something does happen.
