Exposing her deepest secrets on reality TV hasn't only been harsh for Kim Richards – it's also had "devastating" effects on her daughter Kimberly Jackson.
In an exclusive sneak peek at Lifetime's upcoming series The Mother/Daughter Experiment, the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 51, and her youngest daughter, 21, reveal how being in the public eye changed the dynamic of their relationship.
"It's been a roller coaster ride," says Richards, who has been battling addiction in the spotlight and was arrested last year for public intoxication and shoplifting. "Being part of the Housewives has been an experience. It really hurt me because I was struggling with certain things."
Jackson then admits in a separate interview: "I feel like I'm her caretaker because she's fragile physically and emotionally. And it does overwhelm me."
