Keep the Kleenex handy, folks: The final installment of the Real Housewives of New Jersey sit-down is a tearjerker. "This is probably gonna be my last reunion," Teresa Giudice, struggling not to cry, tells Andy Cohen. The host himself is visibly affected, replying to Teresa, "I'm getting a little emotional with you."RELATED: Desperate Housewife! ‘RHONJ’ Star Teresa Giudice Slashes Mansion Sale Price By $500K As Judge Orders Her To Pay Up
Come January, the RHONJ star is set to report to federal prison to serve a 15-month sentence for bank and mail fraud. "I just want to apologize to all my fans out there that I let down," she says when Cohen asks her what she learned this season. "Through all this, I'm gonna make myself a better person."
She and Andy reminisce about some of her most memorable moments from her six seasons on the show. Teresa says the scene she's most proud of is when she gave birth to daughter Audriana, 5, in season 1. When Andy brings up her infamous table flip (quick recap: at a dinner party, Teresa exploded when nemesis Danielle Staub told her to "pay attention, puh-leez!") Teresa replies, "I can't believe I did that! Season 1 was fun."
The New York Times bestselling cookbook author is also looking toward the future. She says she's most frightened about being away from her four girls when she goes away — "I wish I could take my daughters with me," she says — and is already thinking about post-prison life. "Maybe you'll see me on a cooking show," says Teresa. "I'd like to do something else. You never know."
Teresa's best friend Dina Manzo says that the Giudices will thrive once they get through this. (When Teresa is sprung from prison in 2016, her husband, Joe, will begin serving his 41-month sentence for fraud.) "She's gonna survive, and five years from now," says Dina, "they're gonna be better than ever."
Season 6 might be the last time viewers see Dina on Housewives, too. The party planner quit the series midway through season 2 and returned this year. When Cohen asks her what she learned this season, Dina replies, "Once you walk away from something, remember why you did."
A visibly surprised Cohen asks Dina if she regrets returning. "I don't like all the fighting, he said-she said," she replies. "It doesn’t sit well with my soul." Pressing her further, Andy asks if she would she do it again. Dina curtly replies, "No."
