Tamra Barney Claims Gretchen Rossi is Getting Engaged For a Spin-Off Show

Is Real Housewives of Orange County star Gretchen Rossi getting married for all the wrong reasons? You'll never believe what Tamra Barney has to say about the subject!

One of Tamra's Twitter follower offered a somewhat harsh take on Gretchen's motives for tying the knot with Slade Smiley.

"Ok, so I've figured out why @GretchenRossi wants to marry Slade," @sammielicious4u writes. "@TamraBarney got an episode gig of her wedding, so now G needs the same. haha." Yikes.

This is a reference to Tamra's upcoming three-episode wedding special, Tamra's OC Wedding, which focuses on the details of Tamra's recent June nuptials with husband Eddie Judge. The special airs on Bravo in September.

In her Twitter response, Tamra doesn't necessarily agree, but she doesn't completely discredit the theory either.

"That's what everyone is saying," Tamra tweets back. "Not a good reason to get married."

Hmmm. We can't imagine that someone would get married just to get a televised wedding special, but reality stars have certainly made worse decisions.

Gretchen proposed to Slade on April 14 on the top of the AT&T building in L.A. This will be Gretchen's second marriage, following her divorce from Chris Rossi in 2007. Slade has never been married but was engaged to Jo De La Rosa until 2007.
