'Real Housewives' Cooks Up Fresh Feuds for Sonja Morgan, Ramona Singer and Aviva Drescher

NYDailyNews.com:
The “Real Housewives of New York” will spend the Fourth of July getting private lessons in the sport of kings from polo great and Ralph Lauren model Nacho Figueras — and there’s a real chance the TV stars might throw each other under the horse.

Season six of Bravo’s series, filming since May, is poised to be the most dramatic yet, both on camera and off, a show insider tells us.

Ramona [Singer] has turned into Joan Collins,” says our source. “She is telling everyone that she is the star of the show.”

Her castmates labeled her “ridiculous,” but only Aviva Drescher has confronted Singer so far. Season five left off with bad blood between the pair, but this season Drescher will apologize to Singer in the first episode.

“Aviva tells her how much she has missed her,” our source says. “She is being so nice to Ramona that it is freaking her out. Ramona hates to be touched, and Aviva is hugging her every chance she gets.”

Alliances already have formed, with pals Singer and Sonja Morgan snubbing co-star Heather Thomson by skipping her party. But the Singer-Morgan friendship quickly frayed. They are no longer speaking because Singer feels betrayed that Morgan used her lawyer to land a more lucrative contract at the show.
“Sonja’s in her own world,” says our source. “She’s still trying to perfect her toaster ovens.”

Thomson — still pushing her slimming underwear Yummie Tummie — recovered from the diss by bonding with castmate Carole Radziwill.

“Heather is using the show to promote her brand, and producers are constantly telling her to stop trying to ‘pull a Bethenny [Frankel].’ Carole is constantly firing off nasty emails to the other ladies telling them to stop talking about her.”

Drescher, meanwhile, has aligned with Countess LuAnn De Lesseps, who has taken it upon herself to help her new pal decorate her Park Ave. townhouse.

“The Countess has absurd taste and wants to turn Aviva’s home into one of Saddam Hussein’s palaces. Aviva goes with a downtown modern look,” says our source.

But the biggest war is between Drescher and Radziwill, who are feuding over their socialite status.

“Aviva thinks Carole is a fake socialite,” says our source. “She is desperately trying to find evidence that Carole had a ghostwriter for her book and did not get the $800,000 advance she claims.”
