Caroline Manzo Talks About Having More Plastic Surgery

Enstarz.com:
Caroline Manzo might be ready to go under the knife again. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star, who previously had a tummy tuck, revealed to EnStars she wouldn't be against getting more work done in the future.

"Never say never," she told EnStars about the possibility of having more plastic surgery in the future.

"I had a tummy tuck at 39. That is the only [plastic surgery] I've had done. I don't have any fillers or Botox or any of that crazy stuff," she said on July 12 at Mohegan Sun Casino where she was signing copies of her book, Let Me Tell You Something.

"At this point in my life, I'm not going to do anything for the sake of vanity and trying to maintain my youth," Caroline said. "I'm 52, and I don't want to compete with my daughter. I want to look like her mother, not a science project. I'm not going to try to reverse the aging process. It is what it is."

In 2011, Caroline encouraged her daughter Lauren Manzo to get lap-band surgery, in which a silicone band is placed around the top part of the stomach to control food consumption. (Caroline's husband Albert had the surgery in 2008.)

At her heaviest, Lauren weighed 185 pounds. "I was depressed," she told Us Weekly.

"Getting the lap band was the best thing I've done in my life," said Lauren, who lost over 30 pounds following the surgery. "I feel amazing."

Last summer, the mother-daughter duo opened up about the lap -band surgery on Bethenny Frankel’s talk show. Caroline said she supported her daughter's decision.

Caroline said: “I don’t consider it a desperate measure. I saw it as a means to an end, and she’s tried everything."

“We’ve supported her in every which way, but when we saw her losing herself and not making good decisions…about just getting up every day and living and smiling… it’s not about what you want anymore. It’s about what we have to do," Caroline added.

  1. Good for her, if she is not satisfied of her look why not, especially that she's an actress and these days, to look younger is better. I only underwent a cellulite reduction treatment in Toronto by Dr. Jerome Edelstein and I'm happy with my results and I'm feeling great in my body!
