In an exclusive sneak peek at Sunday's Real Housewives of Orange County reunion finale, the "O.G. of the OC" turns a major corner when she finally admits to lying about embattled ex-boyfriend Brooks Ayers.
Gunvalson was under fire for most of season 10 for supporting Ayers as he claimed to deal with a cancer – a diagnosis many of Gunvalson's cast mates actively questioned.
On Sunday's episode, former friend Shannon Beador backs Gunvalson into a corner about a particular story Gunvalson told her about enlisting the help of Heather Dubrow's husband (and Botched star) Terry when Ayers was violently ill one night.
At the reunion, Gunvalson admits Ayers had actually insisted that she not involve the Dubrows, so she never called Terry – translation: Gunvalson lied to Beador.
"I fabricated it because I really was looking for compassion," she admits.
When the ladies – including Gunvalson's daughter Briana Culberson, who openly despised Ayers during his relationship with her mother – won't let up, host Andy Cohen feels he has to point out: "That's a very important thing ... she's admitting something to you guys. You've been accusing her this whole season."
But, as Gunvalson has learned time and again this season, answering one question only opens the door for many, many more – most pointedly from sometime best friend Tamra Judge: "Why?"
Gunvalson admits, "I'm not sure why. He was getting so quiet-mouthed about including me on everything that I just wanted to say, 'You know what, this is your baby. I'm going to work, I'm going to handle my family. If you have cancer, if you don't have cancer ...' "
Then, perhaps most shockingly of all – and despite splitting from Ayers in August – Gunvalson maintains, "I still believe he has cancer."
Vicky knows damn well Brooks doesnt have cancer and has been caught in many lies saying he did. She lied about him being sick and calling Dr Dubrow in an emergency, lied about going to Chemo etc. IF HE HAS CANCER IT IS SO SIMPLE TO PROVE BUT THE WONT CAUSE THEY CANT. They cooked this up together and anyone with a 2 digit IQ would know that.
ReplyDeleteSitting hear catching up on this Season of the Real Housewives of the OC and I am just disgusted. First of all anyone who lies about having Cancer when it so many people dying and is affected by this disease has a special place in Hell reserved for them....That being said, whether Brooks has it is really none of the other Housewives business! I'm sorry nutbif I truley believed that these really cared about Brooks or Vicki for that matter it would be something different, not these women are just being messy as hell and need to find themselves something to do. I don't understand why all of these women are always on Brooke's case...They all have husbands that are no where close to perfect, but they are always focused on him. Especially Megan or whatever her name is who is the ring leader! She needs to be concerned about her own Marriage and they to figure out why she staysbin California and her husband stays in St. Louis. From what I can see she has a miserable life, she is not a happy person, and she has to much time on her hands. Why are you making all of these phone calls trying to proof this man is a Liar when it is so apparent that your relationship with your own husband is far from perfect! If Brooks and Vicki are lying that low will be exposed and the will have to pay for that, in the meantime I feel like all those women need to focus on their own marraiges!
ReplyDeleteOkay....and as far as Briana is concerned, whybin the hell do you expect your mom not to date Brooks because you don't like him and you went off and eloped with your husband. You didn't care what your thought or how she felt when it came to your relationship but you expect her to care about your feelings. You have so much to say about Brooks using your mom for money...but you need to concerned about your own marraige. Yeah...if your husband is such a great provider why do you work 2 jobs while taking care of a infant and a toddler....I Wait...
