Kristen Taekman Leaving Real Housewives of New York City

USmagazine.com:
See ya, says this Housewife. Kristen Taekman is the latest Real Housewives of New York City star to say goodbye to the Big Apple's franchise, she confirmed to Us Weekly on Monday, Oct. 26.

"My experience during my time on RHONY was fantastic and I made some great new friends," the model, 38, said in her statement to Us. "At this time in my life, I have decided to concentrate on my family and my new business ventures Pop Of Color nail polish and Last Night's Look, my fashion blog. I will remain a  Housewife and part of an amazing franchise forever and that is what is important."

Taekman first joined the series in Season 6, and continued her stint on RHONY alongside Bethenny Frankel, LuAnn de Lesseps, Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan, Heather Thomson, Carole Radziwill, and newcomer Dorinda Medley in this past Season 7.

Joining Taekman in her departure is Thomson, whose exit from the franchise was revealed exclusively by Us Weekly back in July.
Taekman made quite the splash (literally!) in her first season on the series, after getting into a water- tossing fight with RHONY veteran Singer. While the following season was largely drama-free for Taekman — save for some minor squabbles with Bethenny and Sonja — the beautiful blonde couldn't say so regarding her personal life this past summer.

In August, it was revealed that her husband, Josh Taekman, was on infidelity website Ashley Madison, after hackers released millions of subscriber information in a massive leak.

In a statement to Us at the time, Josh apologized and admitted to registering on the site. "I signed up for the site foolishly and ignorantly with a group of friends and I deeply apologize for any embarrassment or pain I have brought to my wife and family," the Eboost founder told Us. "We both look forward to moving past this and getting on with our lives."
